Actually there was a video study of someone smoking pot and driving compared to someone on alcohol and driving. It was rather interesting, saw it on youtube. The guy smoking a whole joint and driving was much more calmer and in control, he did just fine, just drove a little slow. lol But that being said I'm sure there's some who have crashed cars, but so have people from too much energy drinks and prescribed pills. You are right, I never really stopped to notice that. I started smoking about 3 years ago (when I was 17). I noticed that the people who started young have more trouble. Weed may not be harmful to a developed mind, but that makes sense that it would be negative on a developing mind.

Actually there was a video study of someone smoking pot and driving compared to someone on alcohol and driving. It was rather interesting, saw it on youtube. The guy smoking a whole joint and driving was much more calmer and in control, he did just fine, just drove a little slow. lol But that being said I'm sure there's some who have crashed cars, but so have people from too much energy drinks and prescribed pills. Those things kill though alone, pot doesn't.

Anything can impair your driving skills. Obviously, driving while intoxicated should stay illegal. Alcohol doesn't harm anyone when you have a few beers and are alone at a bar. When you get drunk you do stupid things. You may decide to drive to pizza hut for some pizza, while you are still drunk...
Any Marijuana user here will probably agree with me by saying when they want pizza... They are NOT going to go out and get it. Why would you want to be so active while high on weed?

By the way, Marijuana causes some people to have problems with depth perception, and focus on many parts of the road at the same time. Obviously this isn't good. But I can tell you there is no way a person high will have NEARLY as bad driving as a drunk civilian, who will also drive recklessly.
One of the good things about marijuana that "potheads" as you call them (Medicine users apparently), is it causes paranoia, They mostly worry and drive as safe as they can anyway.

because the only problem is that being much stronger than cigarette or other legal drugs, people who used marijuana for too long will have no effect from it and will still be dependant to drugs and will thus search for stronger drugs which are extremly harmful to the body like cocaine or meth.

Though you are probably basing this fact from a school program or anti-drug commercial, that is incorrect. You cannot use marijuana "too long" as you say. You will always be affected by it. Most people who simply don't care will try many drugs. Marijuana is not a gateway drug as websites say. Many people probably try it first, but nothing chemically makes you think that way. Most of these people enjoy marijuana and would like something stronger. The smart users don't try new drugs.

I have a brother as well, but I do not base my facts off his use. I don't smoke for I could use the money for other uses at the moment. My brother is fighting cancer though, and of course, thankfully, is medically subscribed to marijuana.
I've never seen an ad against marijuana that does not say "drugs are bad". They are. They only save lives and cure cancer. I would like some facts, not because someone you know changed over time and you think Marijuana caused it.

You are right, I never really stopped to notice that. I started smoking about 3 years ago (when I was 17). I noticed that the people who started young have more trouble. Weed may not be harmful to a developed mind, but that makes sense that it would be negative on a developing mind.
