@MKUltra3 When you're on a budget, anything that isn't fastfood, but affordable and healthy is ideal. I'm sure we'd all love to be able to afford fresh, high quality food, but sometimes it's just not possible, even with sacrifices made.
Tough leafy greens like turnip greens, collard greens, and kale give you a lot of bang for your buck. I can get a bundle of turnip greens at my local grocer for 99 cents.
My cheap daily breakfast consists of old-fashioned oatmeal w/ raisins and 1 T brown sugar, a couple of eggs and a seasonal fruit. That comes to about 75 cents/day at most.
Dark beans are cheap and a great all-round food used by cash-strapped people around the world. At my local grocer in the midwest USA, for $13 I can make some chili and rice w/ 3 lbs. of dry beans (red beans, black beans and kidney beans), 3 lbs. of ground meat (whatever's on sale), and 2 lbs. of brown rice. To keep things interesting, I switch up the rice w/ homemade cornbread or tortillas. At 6'0" and 200#, for me that'll last about 14 big meals.
If she doesn't work and they live on a farm ... why can't they grow a lot of their own food?
Foraging can be pretty rewarding too especially if you have a freezer to keep things like berries fresh (they can be so pricey to buy at the supermarket too)
A few hens can't be that expensive and eggs are great.
Hey, Im 16 and i train in MMA. I weigh 175 and im 6ft. I have a choice to go up in weight or go down, and i chose down. How can i d this fast cause i have a fight in 2 months and i need to make weight.

tuna is super cheap and high in protein.. good choice for budget shopping! and i think that canned veggies are cheaper... but i've never tried them, so i'm not sure how they taste...
Dude you need to do a practice run before you start recording. Way too much dead air time.

Frozen vegetables don't have much in them vitamin wise.
Eat raw food as much as possible.
Curries are a good move, hot food is good for you.
Meat has hormones, fecal matter, poisoning resulting from cows being fed cows...eat at your own risk

great points! here are a few things:
tuna has too much mercury. yams have vit. K, one of the fat-soluble ones (A,D, & E are the others) so i wouldn't eat 'em every day.
and what about, as maxsafehead said above, growing some food. surely she's allowed to have a garden, even if she's not allowed to be employed.

perhaps you should ask your trainers at the gym, you know, the ones who train and condition you for fighting at a given weight.

Chicken leg quarters are the cheapest meat. Frozen vegetables are cheaper than fresh or canned.
