  • the crunch you got is by pedal?

  • yes ac/dc =)

  • That's a real biting and cutting vintage Les Paul sound.

  • wow that is truely a great sound and i'm 14 and have a 1960 re-issue Gibson les paul

  • Thanks. Wow an R0? Great guitar!!

  • no problem man the thing that really gets to me though is that today they cannot replicate these sounds with todays technology

check out my vid i got that little marshall ms2--has a great sound

  • fancy

  • who built that Les Paul, It kicks !

    Great sustain !!!!

  • Umm....uh....Gibson.

  • I'm a little lost, I though conversions means replica, sorry

  • Don't be sorry. Conversions are guitars that used to have single coil P90 pickups and different neck angle (sometimes) converted to a PAF humbucker equipped guitar.

  • Nice work--just picked up a pro reverb....and I'm a believer!

  • Nice balsy tone. I love Les Pauls.

Your notes are so deliberate, nice work.

  • Nice playing. Lovely sound of that guitar... im planing to buy a les paul.

  • Excellent tone & playing!

Who are some of the blues guitarists who have influenced you the most?

    Thanks!

  • But i cant play like that so it doesn't really matter :)

  • My old marshall sounds like this :)

  • Yeah?

  • I love your playing! Very expressive. You nail old time electric blues for sure. A lot of my favorite albums pop into mind when I saw this video.

  • Very nice of you to say!

  • Bending in tune =) Great tone. Very nice.

  • Thank you!

  • HUGE tone. great guitar. u rock..

  • god i've been watching your vids for a long time now. i a 16 year old blues freak so these vids are great. thanks letting people like me cop some licks. keep jamming!

  • i am a big fan of this stuff you post

i am really curious how u get your hands on stuff great gear??

  • It was really good... I can see on your face that you feel the music and it is going right from your heart! Brilliant!

  • enjoyed this. good on you mate, thanks

  • your fucking good

  • Nice vibrato!

  • wow..sounds great..teach me how to be that good :)

  • You're being sarcastic right? I'm not that good. But I play from the heart. Or try to. Thanks.

  • nope..i like your style..im a beginner player (a drummer at heart) and I think you are pretty good..you have some nice riffs :) rock on my new friend

  • That is what old instruments do,they compress beautifully.Soft spongy feeling and great pair of hands from our man Dan.

    I wish we could jam together,well someday..someday..

  • Well, get your butt on over to the States man. I know of a bunch of blues sit ins in St. Louis.

  • The camera does have a limiter of sorts, but this is how my rig sounds. The PAF's compress a lot. When you turn them up especially the treble pup...because it is very close to the strings it gets natural compression....with the tubes and the JBL...this amp gets a great deal of honk. But there are no effects used at all. This is how it sounds. I hope you like it. If you don't...oh well.

  • The camera has an "auto" feature. If I didn't use it, it would overload too often. Much more convenient to use the auto feature even if it does compress things a bit. But this is how it sounds live.

  • something is squashing the tone too much...either you're using a compressor or your camera/recorder has a limiter in it.

  • i hear a compressoion sustainer, am I wright?

  • nice tone, what town do you live in? what about Freddy Kings ,Hideaway

  • Definately. I wish I was as good as you. You've got a good feel for the blues. Keep it up!

  • thats a nice sounding guitar.
