apple has not confirmed anything, the only reason verizon says that they will get it is because they are the only company out there that has purchased the 4g data capability for their ENTIRE network. So, naturally, they would think that theyre going to get the iphone because it is said to be 4g capable. Verizon isnt rolling their 4g out for a while and it will hit smaller markets in late 2011 to early 2012. Im a huge at&t fan so i hope that verizon does not get the iphone.

An Apple IPhone 4G being released in June is great except that AT&T doesn't have a 4G network and probably won't have one until mid to late 2011 or even early 2012. But guess who does? Verizon with their 4G 'LTE' network which they are rolling out to the top 30 markets in the US during Q2 & 3 and will have it available in the top 60 markets by the end of Q1, 2011. So, most likely, a Verizon IPhone will probably be introduced during the month of June.
