Thin Lizzy!!! practically in their own class, wonderful chemistry and set up. I stumbled upon them several years ago. I was jamming on a lot of Schenker- UFO and other AOR and Metal. I really appreciate the guitars and of-course Phil what a writer and frontman. Thanks for posting.
I used to spend hours sat next to my old man’s record player going through all his Lizzy LP's when I was a youngster. This LP in particular took a right fking hammering! They were true pioneers
I like the live version of this off of Live Killers and Still Dangerous. This sounds kind of dry. The live version is more airy - but that's usually the case with the live versions of stuff. The harmonies are better on this version though.
Fuck, just listen to those guitar harmonies! Genious! That was the true strength of this band! This band WILL be appreciated more as time goes by. They are like a treasure you discover. Just to bad they did not get more 'props in the US!
........ I looked through them all, and this one has the BEST audio !!! ... they put out alot of good music , didn't they guys !!! ... thanks for the good post ... ;-)

5000 views for a classic, 5 million views for Justin Doofus and the other garbage out there. No wonder everything is assbackwards these days...
