Would a North American - Latin American Union, this could help unite these countries. However, Hugo Chavez saw this as a threat to his regime. A Union between the Americas could strengthen the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. The European Union has it their way by not including the U.S. in their endeavors.
I agree; Vicente Fox is a very smart man for a Latin American president. He proves to us that there is efficiency in government and that success in Latin America is possible.

Chavez is the wisest mofo in the whole of Latin America...if those Latin American leaders really believe that a union will be in their best interest - they are sadly mistaken!
We all know what USA did to Latin America in the 70s, 80s & 90s - (even the 00's with the attempted coup in Caracas) - by way of the CIA.
Obama or no Obama - USA is still an imperialist entity - I wont even use the term "country".
