@justanoldman1 me too. I agree, like the people, for example. who favour and will vote again for Harpie. REALLY fucking stupid people -- stupid, ignroant, obstinate, uninformed, masochistic, anti-democratic, anti-intellectual imbeciles. Yes, I agree.
Harper had no right to limit the right of any elected MP to participate in Government should they so choose.
I have only to point to the fact that the GG calls heself the DEFACTO Head of State. As the BLOC Party have already formed the opposition at one time , they have demonstrated they are a Defacto government in waiting if called upon.
Harper broke the unwritten rules of which our Democracey is based- all MP's are equal.
Thats a minor issue. Harper is overthrowing the govt by declaring that he has supremacy power, he wants to get rid of the governor general.
The problem of with that is rules dont play it his way. Governor General under Canadian constitution cannot be overthrown by any Prime Minister. GG represents that Queen and only the Queen has the jurisdiction to remove GG. However, GG has the power to remove PM.
these are vary good demands to put forth, but do you really think that by voting yes on the coalition, that we are really going to see any change. NO they are just gong be swept up by all the bull shit that going on. what we really need is come together and get these laws in place with out changing who in Parliament. because that wont matter the trade deals are already in place and do you really think that jack laten has the balls to destroy them i don't..
Are the left that foolish that they believe that everyone who voted for the Libs, NDP or Bloc would vote the same if their vote was going to support a coalition.
So Angela, how do you feel about the 56% of voters who would like to have another election. Surely if you are so confident that the coalition has the support of the majority, you would be more than happy to prove it with an election.
we should hold an election, and then decide who we want to lead us. I didnt vote liberal for a reason, i would never have voted NDP, and certainly never would vote for the Bloc.
why would you support this without an election? just because you can add up these three parties and come out with a majority doesnt mean that it represents more canadians.
unless you think the average liberal is to stupid to notice how little his or her party has in common with the NDP, and how it has absolutely nothing in common with the Bloc...
Just a shout out as a real voter rather than as a paid CPC pundit. Nice video, suggest retooling it without the music though.
For everyone who seems to be having a problem with math, the 62% majority refers to all of our parties banding together, not just one party. Us lefties have a wider bandwidth and can accomodate the Bloc and other parties in our Canada - we'd even take the CPC if they wanted to join! Come on over!
37.6 percent of voters cast a ballot for the CPC, which is more than were cast for any other party.
You sure like to throw words like egotistical, undemocratic, arrogant, etc.
but what kind of person tries to overthrow
a democratically elected governnment after 7 weeks, like your hero Maude and the rest in the banana coalition.
I kind of thought that you proponents of free speech would like to hear what the majority has to say. 56 per cent of respondents would prefer another election.
Answer is simple: Both art projects deserve to be funded. Just like if you were going to produce a film with your anti-Coalition views...it deserves the chance to be funded. Again, answer me this: What percentage of Canadian voters voted for Harper? The other thing that troubles me is: I have no desire to go to a Youtube Anti-Coalition clip and spend my energy arguing with that point of view. It would be egotistical of me to think that my opinion would influence those who have their mind set.
Who gave this leftist loser permission to speak for canadians. Stephen Harper did not get himself into nothing. Have your defeated group of politicians go to the polls one more time and you will hand us our majority. The only way to make your coalition democratic is to put it to a yes/no vote.
coalition agreed to send even more of our tax dollars to quebec and make government positions french only. Well I think i can sleep much better now with more money leaving my pocket.
I wonder if the green plan will come into effect? (Just curious)
Jenny, if the art is that good perhaps it should sell on its own merit. If it is garbage, I do not want my taxes going to subsidize someone who produces crap who is to lazy to get a real job.
And my comment about Maude is a result of some on the left not willing to accept defeat, so now they change the rules.
Once again, for some reason it seems like you consider yourself a high and mighty authority of what is "crap" or not...and what is and isn't deserving of funding. Have you not heard of the phrase "to each his own"? Bottom line: to consider funding for one project and not another is undemocratic and discriminatory, not to mention arrogant. Arrogance is what got us in this mess in the first place. As you are so good at statistics, how many Canadians actually voted for the Conservatives?
Also, as you mentioned earlier, the Arts generate billions of revenue in Canada. I'm sure some of that revenue is generated by the so-called "crap" you refer to by someone you say who "is to lazy to get a real job". Again, its arrogant to imply that one person's job is "real" and anothers' is not.
If the coalition had backed down after Harper had removed the offending measures they would have had a good victory; and weaken Harper enough that the progressive wing of the CPC (me included) would have been able to turf him.
Not happening now as the polls clearly show that canadians did not give a mandate to a three-headed monster (with six pockets). Its a shame that they have driven their parties off a cliff.
P.S. Cant wait for Layton to talk about "hidden agendas" now. He is slime.
"Therefore, a MAJORITY of voting Canadians voted for the other 3 parties which make up the Coalition."
Well you can's be including the Greens which have no seats, so are you admitting that the bloc is part of this coalition that the majority of Canadians voted for? Hell on this I agree with you that the BLoc is party to this treason however, somebody should tell this news to Dion and Layton who have denied any coalition with the Bloc.
"as in when he tried to implement a plan to muffle freedom of speech and expression when it came to the funding for the Arts."
Apparantely the arts creates billions of revenue in Canada. Why in the hell would they need any Government funding if their product was marketable? Oh yeah SOCIALISM.
Beleive it or not, some Canadian artists contribute to a whole lot of shit that very few appreciate. Not a Damn thing to do with freedom of speech, more like freedom from garbage.
My only comment to you about some Canadian artists contributing "garbage" or "s--t" is: Who are you, Harper or the Conservative Party to decide what is acceptable and what is not? Who are you to decide that someone, in this case Maude, should "shut the hell up"?? Certainly sounds like a form of oppression and censorship to me.
Yeah, fuck elections! Let the coalition of criminals, theives, sepratists, communists, hipocrits, and former terrorists run the country!

the first Geert Wilders and his portrayal of Islam "Fitna" and the other Andres Serrano's
