  • What about the brake pipes with fluid inside, radiator connection etc?

  • Body isn`t bolted on chassis??

  • Fantástico!!! Jeep é Jeep.

  • Why is the muffler dragging?

  • In Soviet Russia, jeep disassembles you

  • I have CJ5. Amazing video!!!

  • a gdzie jest plyn chlodniczy i paliwo?

but where is the coolant and fuel?

но где же охлаждающей жидкости и топлива?

  • good stuff

  • T E A M work. Something a few people I know have forgotten.

    GREAT stuff....

  • That's pretty darn impressive. Great video, It's pretty crazy how easily those Jeeps come apart.

  • In Soviet Russia, Jeep strips you!

  • Whoa!!!! They just dismantled that Jeep like it was nothing!!!!

  • Try this stunt with hummer :D

Good old days, good old engineers who used their brains.

  • Супер. Такие не останутся без работы... А у вашей машины не пропадала магнитола или колесо???

  • What the Army teaches you. You really become someone in the Army. The pride you have knowing what you can do!

  • awesome!!

  • thats pretty amazing

  • that jeep air cooled ?

  • Do that to Hummer!

  • In Russia we not only strip a Jeep in 4 minutes, we also manage to sell all the parts! :)

  • @Bucefal79

Then the Canadians strip their jeeps faster!

As in the video it only took them 1 minute and 25 seconds (starting from opening the hood)

  • Would´nt work with a french car...

  • Los chilangos los desarman mas rapido. y rematan las piezas en los siguientes 4 minutos.

  • what model of jeep is this?

    1

  • @robertgrierwilliams It's a CJ5

  • I'VE SEEN DATTO DAVE DO THAT SINGLE HANDED WITH HIS DATSUN P510 1600 WHILE DRINKING A VB.. HEAPS MORE IMPRESSIVE THAN THESE JOCKS

  • We don't build like that anymore.

  • Where's all of the coolant when he pulls the radiator out???

  • 1:46 someone spoke 'Muito Obrigado'!? lol..

  • @Felipz Put it back together...

  • en la F1, solo hay principiantes, perfectos pa´un desvare, de esos que hay en la linea.( Carretera muy complicada Colombiana )

  • Wonder how they'd do with a Scion XB?

  • Amazing. Finally Canada eh :P

  • Talent

  • This is one of the most senseless and amazing things ive ever seen

  • That was faster than most folks change a tire. Thats the vehicle to have right there, fix anything in minutes. Thats how vehicles should be made

  • The Jiffy Crew excites me! Can you possibly come to Miles City, Montana for our 4th of July celebration or for my car club's 25th anniversary car show on September 10?

I want everyone to witness your awesome display of team work! Whoo-hoo!

  • I dont have this type of organisational skills! Great job!

  • that is some crazy stuff that blew my mind

  • Simplicity -- how Detroit won WWII

  • I'm sure all bolts and nuts have been replaced by pins and clips, and everything is designed and retrofitted for this demonstration. This is NOT your standard Army Jeep by any stretch of the imagination. However, they have done a fantastic job of both enabling this vehicle to be disassembled and reassembled in four minutes, and of training and coordinating the process. It's actually really an elaborate magic trick, and done very well. Bravo to everyone involved! Very clever and imaginative!

  • Espectacular, Increíble...!!!

  • Did they modify the jeep to make it modular? Modification or not, this is impressive!

  • exhaust is hangin at the end

  • @kflynt2006 was hangng in the begining too.. I got a feeling it was missing alot of bolts though... I wanna see em do that hen take it for a 50 mile drive or a novice obstacle course... Bet it falls to peices. But still pretty cool though

  • Royal Canadian Dragoons from the looks of them.

    Well done!

  • All joints prepared and very simple, just for show.

  • That was awesome :D

  • I love this video. Definitely going to post it on our blog.

  • Still pretty damn good.

  • SEEMS ENGINE WAS WITHOUT COOLING LIQUID?

  • @GINmetallist the engine is air cooled like the original VW beetle.

  • @kashpc The engine is not air-cooled, it's a standard Jeep engine, they even remove and replace the radiator. However, it appears there is no coolant in the system, but any engine will run for several minutes without coolant without causing damage. If it were air-cooled, you'd see cooling fins, and a circulating fan, neither of which are present.

  • FANTÁNTICOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Fine example of the simplicity of jeep, can't do this with Humvee...

  • @MwRYum

Very true but i dout this jeep would stop bullets lolol

Still an awesome thing about the jjep no need for an overporiced check up you do it your self

  • En Chile los flaites son mas rapidos

  • JIFFY!

  • @MossadPaintball

    >Its simple and easy with the car prepared for that.

Hmmm, guess engineering and building a vehicle to that purpose wasn't awesome? Hey a rocket launch is easy with it prepared like that.

  • OHHHH its seems that the army found something usefull to do!!!

  • Increible, que bueno.

  • they forgot to pull the engine apart :-P

  • meros tesos esos manes ufffffff q bn video

  • those crazy brits.

  • @fstop250

Those are Canadians my friend from Halifax

  • @streetcarboy So British basically...

  • @fstop250 Canadians

  • Can't do that with the new Jeeps.....they be WAY too fancy for their own good.

  • Wordless, Speechless!!! Awesome

  • Just great, all my best from Spain.

  • Superb!

  • Great job guys! Totally awesome! Semper Fi!

  • Simple The Best

  • Selten so einen Mist gesehen! Leute verarscherei!

    Was für ganz dumme!

  • Это в бачке омывателя закончилась вода. Что же они делают, когда кончается бензин?

  • This video proves that car companies are far behind when comes to fixing problems

  • LOS CHILANGOS RRIFAN JAJAJJAJA ELLOS TIENEN EL RRECOR

    JAJAJAJJAJJAJAJJAJJA

  • Only in a Jeep!!

  • This street seems to Hill Valley from BTTF.

  • Who are these guys? Anyone know?

  • Everyone's posts are trying to be funny enough to get a ton of thumbs ups, so they can be at the top. lame.

  • Wow! It takes 3 hrs for my mechanic to do a rear bearing job! That's just dealing with two wheels on a car! These guys are awesome!

  • Venga ya! Quien quiere a los mecanicos de ferrari?! los mejores estan en el ejercito!...

  • team work at its best...good job boys

  • It seems nobody knows the awesome, disciplined, pure-tech training it takes to see this demo. My hat's off, fellas!

  • Cops!! We're gonna get a ticket. Quick!! LET'S TAKE IT APART!!! LOL

  • Try doing that with any modern car lol. Nothing like the pure simplicity of those old jeeps

  • Well done! Let's try a tank next time. :)

  • Epic!

  • Well orchestrated! Very admirable.

  • COOL! That was fun to watch. The ding-bats and negative dudes can go pound sand.... ;-)

  • Amazing!!!

  • cool

  • Bravo!!!! Tou a ver que afinal a Tropa tem coisas engraçadas! ;)

  • Full tank is on the top side of the body. The front seats actually mount on top of the tank. Certain models had a smaller tank so there for the pass seat sometimes was mounted to the floor and just the driver side was sitting on top of the fuel tank.

  • Outstanding!!!

  • "Innovative Duty" is how this assignment is described in the military...

  • Where was the gas tank ? No doubt it didn't run on gasoline.. Some kind

of clean energy fuel from a compressed tank on engine drive train !!

  • @singlesafety I think the gas tank is connected to the body not 100% sure though

  • Enjoyed this tremendously!!!!!! Wished I was on the curb w/ an ice cream cone!!! Good ole' time entertainment for the whole family! :-)

  • this remember mexico... why ¿? xD

  • Cool video. Try doing that with a newer Jeep. LOL

  • @Jpressman8 Getting it back together would be the real problem!

  • I bet they are all car jackers at night.

  • well done i bet the kids in the south side of Chicago could proberly have taken it apart faster but don't think they could have put it back togeather : )

  • @hopatease1 lol! True.

  • while impressive for the team work and descipline it takes its partially bogus. look at the muffler when they stop, why is it like an inch from hitting the ground? and you cant pull off a body like that, unless it wasnt even connected to the frame. look how they didnt put any muscle into taking off the lug-nuts? lol not torqued properly if you ask me.

this whole thing was staged to make them look really really good, while they are obviously good, this was a fake ass setup.

  • @cplboyd

As an owner of a similar model Jeep, I would say the main difference between this and a road-worthy jeep is that none of the bolts were rusted in! Those Jeeps were very simple as far as how many bolts held stuff together. I am sure they had stuff just finger tight, and I think they had some quick-takedown pins in place of some of the bolts, but to call it bogus is bogus! I saw them giving the speed-wrenches a good hit at the end to torque the lugs. They don't take a very high torque.

  • @cplboyd

Oh, and it obviously was a specially prepared Jeep so they could put on a fun show for the parade. It was not a "fake ass setup", it was a funny show!

And I bet they came up with the idea one day when they had engine trouble and they pulled it into the shop and had the body off (with no tricks) in 10 minutes to make access easier, and somebody said "Hey! Why don't we do this in the parade!", possibly under the influence of some Moulson... :)

  • Quero ver eles fazendo isso com um opalão huasheusahe

  • Does anyone know how to get a hold of them? I would like to book them to do a show..Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • I worked in the Jeep plant in Toledo. They don't make things that simple anymore.

  • It is like watching Forest Gump field strip his rifle- Great video- love the simplicity-

  • @0Zallman0: I noticed him earlier putting his foot behind a tire.. I figure once the breaks are disconnected, someone needs to keep it from rolling away...

Or.. maybe he's just the Sarg... ;-)

  • @dvdptr1

Also If you notice right at the end just before they put the hood on, a guy grabs onto the front bumper and pulls, then he crouches down and they carry the hood over his head. He is the parking brake at that time!

  • 3:11 why is this guy here (on the left)?!

  • As long as there is no left over parts !!

  • those guys are really boared when they're not fighthing

  • It would be cooler if they rebuilt it into a giant robot with cannons or lasers.

  • @bitPimp

    No, it wouldn't.

  • That is incredible. It just goes to show what amazing abilities we all have. All we have to do is put them to use. These guys sure did, why not you.

  • if i pick a car can you give it to me on parts?

  • Amazing!

  • That is one of the coolest things I have ever seen.

  • like to see them thar nascar fellers do this, impreeee-ssive! shi-zam

  • That's not funny, it took me years to take apart and reassemble my old Mustang!

    Rugged, simple, reliable. Amazing.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • these are canadians out of cfb gagetown

  • Must be from da bronx

  • kkkkk, os caras são bons pra caraio, muito legal

  • They could have at least rotated the tires while they were at it...

  • chingon pero para que tanta mamada??

    cuantas vidas salva eso?

  • It's always a blast to watch soldiers working together. Who cares if some of it is modified -- it's still an incredible stunt and fine example of teamwork.

  • cool dude thats cools in 4 min

  • Obviously the universal joints in the drive shafts have been modified for quick release and wouldn't last a full day's ride off road.True U joints have 4 bolts that hold them together and you could never handle it the way they did once unbolted and keep the end caps on. The needle barrings would have falen out all over the ground and then this show would have become a half hour demo.while they try to find all the needles, clean off the sand and reassemble.

  • @headzzup What's wrong with just letting yourself have some fun?

  • @headzzup they could have used yokes and splined ends....

  • Quanto levam à hora de mão de obra numa oficina em Portugal?

  • Pretty cool. Course it helps that everything was unbolted already but it makes for a neat exposition. That's why I like the old ones. A guy can tear one down and put it back together in a single weekend if he wants to. No computers, no technicians. Just basic mechanics and combustion engine principles.

  • Фигассе флешмоб! :)))

  • Great Team Work.

  • My gosh, this was incredible!

  • wow to cool.........

  • ESTOS WEYES SALIERON BIEN ENTRENADOS DE LA BUENOS AIRES... AQUI EN EL DF JAJAJA

  • Has to be a lot of loose nuts & bolts. I wouldn't want to take it out on the highway.

  • @fernhollow1928 same thing I was thinking.

  • @fernhollow1928

It's a Jeep! Of course it's got loose bolts and nuts! (including generally the one behind the wheel... ;)

(I have several Jeeps, so I speak of truth, and myself!)

  • WOW

  • Note that these troops are Canadian, from Canadian Forces Base in Gagetown NB Canada.

  • I need those guys to finish my maverick project!

  • This is one of the most awesome demonstrations I've ever seen!!! Great work guys!!!!!

  • Patrick can you field strip a jeep? Anybody can strip a pistol!

  • That was fun to watch, and is certainly impressive, but I guarantee you, that is not a standard, "as issued" M-38A1 1/4 ton utility vehicle. If they all came that way, they would fall apart out in the field, but it is certainly impressive to watch!

    Boridin

  • Magnus Blaker: Du er en jævla homo som sitter og ripper off i-am-bored og alle linkene dine er jewtube linker! At du i det hele tatt ennå får jobbe i en nettredaksjon er et mirakel!

  • Its still good fun to watch a team that knows how to work together I still remember this was a common thing during mil, itary displays in the fifties where the teams had to open the crates and assemble the jeep stripped down for transit and drive it away in around 4 min stiol nice to see it happening

    Birkbeck

  • saranno veloci.....ma la macchina era già a pezzi!!

  • wtf is this shit? no brakes? no radiator?

  • @thiagotecnico ....don't know about you, but I saw him remove the radiator right after they removed the hood.

  • @thiagotecnico

    Trolls trolling trolls trolled

  • @thiagotecnico

    Trolls trolling trolls trolled.

  • @thiagotecnico

Trolls trolling trolls trolled. *fuck you youtube, this is my comment*

  • I would just like to know how the brakes are hooked up.

  • No, it wouldn't hold up in the field and if anyone cares to notice, we don't use those jeeps anymore anyway. It's just good fun and shows how our guys work in unison and with pride. As a former Marine, I love to see our young service members out there pumping up the home team. We've always used these "tactics" to get the civilians behind the ones who protect them. Think Blue Angels, Thunderbirds, ect.,... Just sit back and enjoy.....

  • El funcionamiento de un buen equipo diligene. ¡Ay del que esté solo!

  • El funcionamiento de un buen equipo diligene. ¡Ay del que este solo!

  • I like it. I have worked on older Jeeps like this all my life so I have a pretty good idea as to what would need to come apart, and how I might "make" the Jeep easy to pull apart quickly. That being said, is anyone on here involved with this crew? At the end it sounds like the guy starts it, so I have to ask where are the fuel lines and tank? I never see anyone pull the rear driveshaft? The old CJ5s have a terrible clutch linkage that is not easy to pull apart, never see that touched..???

  • @11YeeP11 I'm on the team, but if I told you how it was done, then I would have to kill you.

  • @del0griffith

thanks for the show dude,I video taped this on my summer holidays,it was a blast..!!

  • What always makes me wonder about videos like this is why people want to be negative in the responses. Why is that? This is a neat, disciplined, orderly demonstration. Take it for what it is, if you don't like it, just keep it to yourself and stop trying to bring others down. I guess the world is full of haters and that will never change.

  • @shodobe1 Taxpayers money hard at work, that's why!

  • @kaminskyjason It's called team buidling excersises, the forces are trained to work as a unit, do you really think that they train for combat continually. I'm sure those of you have been involved in team buidling exercises at work rarely involved your day to day tasks. Armed forces are people not robots.

These guys VOLUNTEER to join and put their lives at risk day to day alevaiting the need for governments to conscript us all. You'd moan more if that should ever be the case again. Let them play.
