  • Btw Z, do you think a separate, modified car alternator giving out high voltage for HHO production a good idea? Say, 120 DC (or AC, if that would work)? You see, I find that my car's electrical system is having a hard time handling so many amps at 12 volts. And a 150 watt'ish system doesn't really cut it. Not the way we want HHO to be -- dramatic. I'm thinking 500 watts or more would be a good start but handling those amps at 12v isn't as comfortable.

  • @Quigon10101 2nd alternator, yes. HV, still not sold.

  • @JWKanalen So the question is will you get the same results with water vapor injection alone? I'm pretty sure the answer is yes. That's why so many people see some gains with only a trickle of HHO. They've ignored the water vapor component. There's still not enough HHO in there to be making any difference on its own. That's why I'm going more after efficiency.

  • Greetings ZFF. This will be interesting and very informative to watch. 7 plate groups with 8 plates in each (56 total, 4 less than last time :)). Plate groups inter-connected in series? (Parallel, maybe? With the threaded steel bar, "through-and-through"?) I am eagerly waiting to see the new construction and how it performs. It will be very kind of you to give a bit more description of the inter-connections between plate groups and any possible alt configs you may have tried to tweak the amps.TY

  • All will be revealed.

  • Good evening Z, hope you're doing well. I'm surprised you're taking the clear box approach again on the BC rebuild. You must be visually keeping tabs on production as well as the actual volume measurements? I fully understand though, watching production is mesmerizing in itself. I've debated contacting you for several months now, curious to see how things would develop based on the timing of the BC's youtube debut. Also curious about the origins of your inspiration

to build a unipolar unit. -Gus

  • @BioFarmer93 There's nothing new here, really. It's inspired by the 12V wet cell automotive battery.

  • What was wrong with the EBN cell?

  • @ChrisPCrunchy The compressed gasket wet cell (not dry) is elegant looking and fits nicely in many places. That's where it ends. Too many mechanical flaws. The terminals often got resistive, heated, lost efficiency. Internal current leakage is almost impossible to prevent. And the gaskets will always soften, bulge from between plates and leak electrolyte.

I much prefer swimmers even if a little bigger. They're easier to replicate, easier to balance voltage, less likely to leak.

  • @ZeroFossilFuel Wouldnt voltages self ballance as a plate or an area of a plate that has a smaller gap would generate more gas bubbles on the surface. As gas bubbles are more resistive (open circuit) they would reduce the surface area of the plate exposed to the electrolyte and self ballance out the current through that plate as compared to the rest? Wouldnt "swimmers" increase the area of leakage as the electrolyte can allow current flow around the plates not just through a few holes?

  • Can you explain a little bit about media blasting of the plates ? or point me to a video ?

You're doing an AWSOME job !!

    Thanks

    Nog.

  • @nogarats HHOPWR did them for me. Check his series on the magnetic beastie. He found that starting with 80 grit material (not sure what) then using aluminum oxide 300 grit produced the most gain in exposed surface area as well as optimum surface texture to produce and release the gas.

  • Man, You have some patience my friend. I have always used my table saw to take them apart. But using Weld On that was my only choice. Can't wait for the final build.

  • Zero, thank you for sharing.

I've got truck loads of respect for you.

    Keep on Rockin.

    Peace.

    Mike.

  • The MIT hydrogen solar cell is a self contained simple unit. One solar cell in water splits the water with only a flashlight giving it enough energy. No copper connections outside to transport the electrons to a hydrolyzer. With no expensive copper and the cost of sand being relatively cheap, this is a major breakthrough. Flashlight power for hydrolisis, you don't get any more efficient. Question is, will cobalt work for more efficiency for you?

  • @los angeles 90745 , the cobalt process is my idea. I brought it up in the Danial Dingle Watercar site over 3 years ago. The student that introduced it to his Prof was a member of the site. I abandoned the process because there is a more efficient process. I working on it now. When I get the process down and my new device built, I'll open source it through Panacea and a couple of other sites. Until then, I wont release it because people keep taking my ideas and claiming them as theirown.

  • thanx z doing garden this year? stay safe

  • Zero, thanks for all your work. Been watching u for a while. Wanted to drop a hint at what MIT has been doing with electrolysis from direct sunlight. They have developed a solar cell in water that splits the water. True free energy. What may have an impact for you is that they have discovered that cobalt for the + plates cuts the req voltage from 2.4V to 1.5V drop per plate. Your batt cell seems perfect for this. Search for MIT and tiny bubbles. BUBBLE ON!

  • @lostangeles90745

Sounds interesting, I will search up MIT.

I personally think it would take alot of solar cells to run an efficient hho generator.

  • @spawn2882 hey there try searching SOLAR HYDROGEN HOME MICHAEL STRIZKI its a 3 year old video but the man is a true pioneer. and while your at it check out GEET fuel reformers. MASSIVE YET TINY ENGINE wicked. have a look google PESWIKI . also FUEL FOGGER. POGUE carburator. and just remember the more good ENERGY ideas we put together will help us all achieve what we really want. check my channel...Peace

  • @neiallswheel

Yes I have seen that video. And his house has a considerable amount of solar panels.

Along with the ability to store that energy. That to a very considerable amount of work and investment.

  • If you need any 1/2 Plexiglas then contact me. I recently scored 4 4'x8'x1/2" sheets & some smaller partials.

I can make you a super deal :)
