If the people in charge of making the choice of singer at the game sunday night didn't want an awesome, rough around the edges rock star voice to sing the national anthem why in the hell did they have one do it. We all been hearing his voice sing everwhere for over 30 years so it wasnt frickin new!! I seen & heard a man sing a song with pride . I liked it as well as his other anthem sings.

@wolffbrothermax he did this in a high key. he could've done it in a lower key and make it more soothing and less screechy. but that's what steven is famous about. he has his own style. i dont expect an operatic voice coming out of his mouth and i enjoy this.

The 'spectacle' was kind of unsightly since he was obviously drunk, but at least he hit 99% of the notes all right. And I don't know why some people keep saying that the anthem is hard to sing. Absolutely not! It's a very simple melody in a very easy tempo, and if your range is limited, you can always choose to sing in a lower key.

Well, it was awful. But then again, the national anthem is probably the hardest thing to sing, because of the notes it requires a singer to hit. I'm surprised Steven Tyler is still alive after all the drugs and garbage he's done, so if he gave a full-hearted yet terrible performance of the Star Spangled Banner, I'm willing to let him pass. He's a Boston man anyway, so good for him.
