  • Good job Pepe.

  • 9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB BY ZIONIST JEWISH MOTHERCUKERS who CONTROL AMERICA IN order 2 GET A PRETEXT 2 ATTACK IRAQ 2 STEAL ITS OIL ETC.U MOTHERFUCKERS ONLY KNOW 1 THING 2 STEAL,LOOT ND CREATE WARS I WISH IRAN NUKE U MOTHERFUCKERS 2 HELL.

  • If the US were stealing oil as you say, wouldn't the price of oil go down and stay down? Why are gas prices still going up? Economics defeats your theory, Q.E.D.

Now go educate yourself before you make yourself look like a bigger idiot.

  • ignore the idiot (connect4raza), he is a pakistani wannabe nazi, poor guys has no food and his country is like the oldschool kurdistan...ignore this idiot...

  • You gotta love Pepe.. the man knows his stuff and hit all the right points on the issue of Iran.

    well done..

  • Great info. I love that song at the end.

  • Go Pepe :-)

The frightening and the frivolous - Pepe tells a great story.

It is ALWAYS a pleasure to listen to him, with his infectious contempt for lies and the lying liars who tell them; to hear him giving us the truth. And giving it to the MSM liars with both barrels while so doing.

    Keep up the great work.

  • Obama has surrounded himself with nothing but Zionist war hawks. (This isn't an exaggeration, folks: his cabinet is more pro Israel than Bush's, and openly so.) Peace in the Middle East? Justice for the Palestinians? An end to Israel's Apartheid State? I don't think so; not during this administration.

  • yeah,I agree with you,he supports those wild israelies even more than Bush and also he has changed himself more than other things that he annoinced to change

  • Olmert Boasts of Jewish Power — ADL says its true, but he should shut up about it!

A major Jewish newspaper has given graphic details of the incredible power Israel holds over the American government. It also shows the height of Jewish chutzpah in quoting the Israel Prime Ministers speech in which he actually boasted of his power to order the U.S. President as one would a dog.

  • This is impressive reporting by pepe escobar. The real news makes fox news look like CNN and MSNBC. Escobar could be tougher the Bill O'reilly.

  • the fact that you think o'reilly is tough is laughable.

the real news exists to question power...

fox news/msnbc and cnn exist to protect and maintain power...

o'reilly, hannity, blitzer, olberman, matthews...none of them question anything of actual substance...they deflect, distract, and mask truth to protect the status quo...

they go after individuals, but not the system which gives rise to them

you simply will not see or hear on the MSM the information you would on the real news

  • Your point is well-taken. I am impressed with the real news' way they question power. I will agree with on Hannity, Biltzer, Olbermann, and Matthews, they are pundents that pushed the idealogy of their parties. O'reilly is not a partisan.

  • while i agree that many pundits push their ideology...id urge you to take a closer look at o'reilly.

im not saying hes hard right or anything...i think he balances himself in what i believe to be the narrow gap between democrats and republicans. but that isnt liberal or conservative

    oreilly celebrates corporatism/imperialism

remember that movie network? at the end when the head of the corp wants mr. beale to spread the corporatist message. oreilly is that mr. beale.

  • and while i agree that oreilly can be non-partisan...

finding virtue in that rests on the assumption that all the answers to problems fit into the narrow gap between repubs and dems...

and i think the real news and others like it are challenging the 2 party system which has been protecting the gov officials/corporations that have gotten us into the several messes we are in.

oreilly skims the surface of problems but dosent address their cause...because the system/cause maintains his own power

  • The hard-line clerics have no answers to Iranian society. For them they have reached the 'end of history' and they are just holding/honing Islamic governance until the Mahdi comes and saves them. The result is a country with 40%+ inflation, a restless civil society and a very young, frustrated populace. The Islamic Republic as we know it will fall apart spontaneously if isn't interfered with. Any interference/attack from outside will only help them by providing credence to their paranoia.

  • Excellent Reporting - Thanks!

  • pepe escobar . i wish obama would have made him secretary of state

  • the answer is simple. americans want another war. i have been telling people this for some time now. in fact i have seen reports that they want a pre emptive nuclear attack on iran russia and china as well. this diplomatic bullshit is just that.

  • haha some posts on this video make me laugh ..america wants to start a war with iran cause isrealis control america and isrealis want to protect isreal. Iran does not threaten america neither does hamas or hezbollah but as long as zionists control america and its media you americans wont know the truth...

  • PLEAS people do not blame the Iranian people for all this crap ... Blame the government. Recent studies have shown that more then 80-85 % does not support the regime. And EVERY report you here from Iran has no value 'cause people are waaaaay to afraid to say what they think, to tell the world the truth; out of fear of being arrested and maybe tortured and killed...

    SUPPORT IRANIAN FREEDOM!

  • Great post~

Our new President will have to work hard to migrate away from the rhetoric provided under the Bush Administration, and by westerners over time. In order to create true change, it will be necessary for Pres. Obama to work hard to view thiese issues in an objective manner - not presuming the correct positioning of the west historically.

  • You have a long wait on that.

Obama has already smeared Iranian National Guard as a terrorist organization. etc etc.

  • nono of ur biusnes what iran happend u mothaaa fukaaaa hehe

  • Our government wanted a regime change in countries we consider a threat and yet it supports other totalitarian states...just guess who the hypocrites are.

  • Dear Iranian People,

What do you want from America so that we can live in peace ?

    -TimmyHaag

  • They probably want American people to wake up and realize they are ruled by Corporatism, and garnish up the guts enough to retake their government and cut away the corruption.

  • What??? When was the last time Iranians wanted anything from America? America wants regime change in Iran because Iran is not obedient as other states in the middle east.

  • nah it is the partisanic education and steady ranting against the west, supporting hisbollah type of indoctrination developed at full scale in hand with deminishing human rights, there, that makes it an ugly peace of state...

  • Well you can say that, which is not new to any one watching FOX or CNN or BBC. But I don't see how a government like USA which is the biggest violator of human rights and international laws, and is the supporter of all dictators, corrupt governments and all terrorist acts around the world, and with CIA supporting overt and covert terrorist operations in Iran since their Islamic revolution, can even have the right to talk about human rights and democracy in Iran.

  • The other way round also. Every decent human being hopes that America stops intervening in other countries affairs and stops supporting terrorism and turns into a functional democratic society.

  • If by a "normal society" , you mean "obedient to the west", I doubt Iranians would want it and we will never see an Iran like that in our age or generation. There will be no peace until there is justice and equality.

  • I like the idea of fashion police, though, i was such a cop.

You know I `ll rather listen to Iranian metal bands, than you, right now.

If the hole world was Iran still not happy I bet.

So if you want to do good things, start right of, no problem...

How about a letter to the clerics to tell them to shut up?

  • "Dear Iranian People,

What do you want from America so that we can live in peace ?

    -TimmyHaag "

hahaha, what a moron you are...., brainwashed american dumbass lol

  • This report highlights the reality that factions within Washington will be at each other's throats constantly for the next four years.

  • The ongoing human political drama continues. I think its safe to say the sweepingly vast majority of governments around the planet are wholly inept. Politics is a game of power-brokering, its archaic and ridiculous that us peons suffer the consequences of the decisions of a select few douche bags that we empower. I hope one day soon the political game is exposed for the total farce it has become. Just as we are no longer ruled kings and queens, perhaps one day will won't be ruled by politicians.

  • Two points

    (1) Misconception: Ahmadinejad did nothing for the economy. Inflation has been higher during khatami:Ahmadinejad introduced VAT to distribute wealth fairly.

    (2) Iran's REAL request for Apology: The rapings that were done during the immunity period of US reservists in Iran. U.S. support for Saddam Hussein during the Iran-Iraq war and chemical weapons usage (1.000.000 deaths) Its support of MKO who managed to kill the Islamic Republic president and tens of parliament members.

  • Pepe is definitely one of the best reporters, on any medium.

  • why does Pepe call "moderates" the politicians in Iran who want a "normal" relationship with the US? a "normal" relationship with the US is to be subservient to the US.

And how come wanting your country to be free and independent from outside control make you an "idealog"

and what the hell is a "hardliner" anyways? I keep hearing it over and over again in reference to ahmedijan.

all these political terms are actually propaganda terms and they don't mean anything.

  • Wanting peace is pragmatic. Wanting confrontation is ideological.

Befriending the US is not exactly a deathtrap. South Korea and Japan can testify to that.

  • Good reporting Pepe.

Yes its true, Obama has kept many of the old Bush advisers in place for a simple reason. He doesn't want to make the same mistakes the Bush admin did, by ousting key figures of the opposition you end up taking on the full responsibility, for the oncoming policies, demise. In other words, he can take credit if the plan works or he can blame them if it doesn't. Obama is extending an olive branch to a perceived enemy, by sending the very people who created enemy. win win

  • Very good points. It is unfortunate but Americans do not recognize the fact that WE are the main danger to the civilized world and to democracy. Other dangerous regimes(and of course their many others) only dream of doing the kinds of things we actually carry out. But it is the age old paradigm that the majority of citizens of any given "superpower" look outward at enemies and think of their own state as defending freedom. Wake the F up people for God sakes.

  • @Thoughprocess1: Nice comment. I think you made some typos in the second phrase.

Where you typed "main" should be "only".

  • No, not "only".

    "Main".

  • ThoughtProcess1, are you not an American?

  • Yeah, I am an American.

  • It's a shame you do not recognize the fact that WE are the main danger to the civilized world and to democracy.

  • That's what I wrote. Is there a point to you rewriting that? Because if there is I don't get it.

  • So you are admitting you do not recognize this? If so, it's incredible that you were to type that up without recognizing it yourself.

  • Are you really that dumb?

  • No, I just think people ought to write what they mean.

If sick of seeing Americans saying how Americans are ignorant and need to wake up, yada yada yada. I'd like to shake them and ask, "What the hell do you think YOU are?".

The adjective "some" goes a long way.

  • So Next is Iran? What a sad world:(

Iranian have to Build Nuclear Weapons if not USA will not leave them alone. So they have to protect their self. This is my advice to Iranian and all the nightmare countries:)

Even my country Eritrea is nightmare to USA lol

So we have to Build Nuclear Weapons too.

  • Uh...building nuclear weapons is the LAST thing Iran would want to do if they wanted the US to leave them alone. -_-

  • Iran Beware ! palefaces speak with forked tongue !!!!!!!!!

eye opening as usual ! great work real news !!!

  • Fantastic as usual, Pepe. The truth shall exalt The Real News above the zionist propaganda machines of the mainstream media.

  • Viva Iran

  • Too many people are obsessed with Obama and think he is so great and awesome and liberal.

He isn't. He's the same old same old, except he's black. He's a huge capitalist conservative. warmonger.

Sure he is going to pull out of Iraq, but then he's going to further pulverize Afghanistan. Not only that he is letting Cheney and Bush off the hook with their war crimes, he's taking a sad way out of it. He doesn't want to "look backward".

    Seriously. Wake up America.

  • agreed

  • he is a conservative? O_o

  • He doesn't support gay marriage.

    He supports war with Afghanistan.

He is unwilling to charge Bush and Cheney with War crimes.

Universal healthcare isn't something he believes in.

He unquestionably supports Israel and does not denounce their war crimes.

He allows attacks inside Pakistan which kill civilians.

Supported illegal wire tapping (the list goes on.)

  • WHAT? LAST TIME I LISTEN TO MCCAIN! HE SAID HE WAS SOCIALIST!!!

just kidding... I don't listen to McCain in the first place

  • true

  • man he just toook his presidency just give him some time

  • I agree but for really good analysis go to presstv and check archives which is also wonderful.

  • Iran: the pariah states' pariah state :-) It is possibly worthwhile to note that Pepe Escobar is not broadcasting out of Iran or from any other of the friends of Iran, but is broadcasting out of the state accused of being the 'Great Satan'. It is fair to challenge the virtues of the US as a supporter of dictators and other undesirables, but, since alternatives are not readily available, we are where we are, until alternatives do appear. That said, the ouster of Mossadegh was a grave mistake.

  • Once again, Pepe Escobar gives a good criticism.

However, we should not forget to focus our attentions on the recent attitudes towards Iran and if they truly reflect a just voice or merely just seemed just because the Bush era was so terrible.

  • Haven't heard this in the US media or the BBC, interesting. Least we know that Pepe is no sunshine patriot, and it's a good thing. Share this with your Obamanic friends, it would stirke up an interesting conversation he he.

  • How do you go forward without acknowledging american and jewish war crimes. a million dead iraqis....

  • Israel war crimes not jews war crimes.

  • In my opinion, The Klinton's are Kamillions

  • Excellent research.
