Sound issues or not, this is why today's "singers" don't gave the respect of their predecessors. You don't walk off of the stage period!!!! You sing to the crowd with the musicians you have until the problems are fixed. If the whole band goes flat, you sing acapella! Not a Fantasia fan, but she would ripped it up without the band because she has a mature showmanship quality that a lot of these young ladies need.

Fantasia also have a similar problem she done like Miss Patti .She sung fix that,fix that but she didn"t stop performing
She should have said something. I've been to concerts and most celebs will apologize to the fans before stepping off stage. Patty Labelle will keep singing and sing the problem in tune without stopping the song. I don't think she was rude atleast she didn't do like Beyonce and threaten to fire the sound guy on mic.
The back-up dancers have more enthusiasm than she does...based on the comments she made in that rude interview its pretty clear this is just a job for her

she has ear phones quite expensive 1s in her ear hooked 2a monitor if u ever did a show with the sound off in ur ear its the worst unlike keisha I didn't have the power 2walk off stage especially since I was the drummer it was the worst I had 2play with out ears in a loud environment & no vocals 4 3nights & 5shows the sound was right 1x this right here is embaracing & trust me she put that sound mans name out there
if you are paying someone money to have your sound right then the sound should be right. Let her leave a zero or two off the soundmans check and he would be pissed and so would you.

She wanted to give her crowd the BEST show that she could! What she did was very proffesional for her career and the enjoyment of the concert viewers! If you were a singer would you really want the music to overlap your voice? Would you keep going- giving a semi-good performance or would you stop to make sure everything is in tune so that YOUR fans would enjoy the concert and be happy? Would you rather people say oh man YOU sounded horrible or WOW YOU pulled it together and it was amazing!

a better way to handle this would have been to keep singing and have a cue for sound issues so that the sound people would know there was a problem but the audience wouldnt. THATS how you professionally HANDLE an audience. But..They dont teach that at r&b diva school...as a professional nationally known singer, you dont stop the show

I didn't see what the problem was OTHER than her choreography . An that screen was she talking about not being up. I think she just didn't felt like doing the show. This is why I DO NOT go to concerts because artist tend to do thing like this.

Sound issues or not, this is why today's "singers" don't gave the respect of their predecessors. You don't walk off of the stage period!!!! You sing to the crowd with the musicians you have until the problems are fixed. If the whole band goes flat, you sing acapella! Not a Fantasia fan, but she would ripped it up without the band because she has a mature showmanship quality that a lot of these young ladies need.

@leevum1 This is what you get when auto-tune plays a major part of your "talent" .There is a video on you tube of Patti Labelle having a similar problem she didn"t even stop singing she sung it to the sound engineer "I can"t hear my back ground singers she didn"t miss a beat they got the sound fixed and she never quit singing because the sound wasn"t right. Fantasia also have a similar problem she done like Miss Patti .She sung fix that,fix that but she didn"t stop performing

She should have said something. I've been to concerts and most celebs will apologize to the fans before stepping off stage. Patty Labelle will keep singing and sing the problem in tune without stopping the song. I don't think she was rude atleast she didn't do like Beyonce and threaten to fire the sound guy on mic.

she has ear phones quite expensive 1s in her ear hooked 2a monitor if u ever did a show with the sound off in ur ear its the worst unlike keisha I didn't have the power 2walk off stage especially since I was the drummer it was the worst I had 2play with out ears in a loud environment & no vocals 4 3nights & 5shows the sound was right 1x this right here is embaracing & trust me she put that sound mans name out there

She wanted to give her crowd the BEST show that she could! What she did was very proffesional for her career and the enjoyment of the concert viewers! If you were a singer would you really want the music to overlap your voice? Would you keep going- giving a semi-good performance or would you stop to make sure everything is in tune so that YOUR fans would enjoy the concert and be happy? Would you rather people say oh man YOU sounded horrible or WOW YOU pulled it together and it was amazing!
