The only good thing about the movie was the 3-D special effects other then that it was just a Native Americans fighting the evil USA military movie.

Maybe the other thing is it pissed off Conservatives and military people for portraying the military as mean barbaric greedy evil people.

This movie is so great! I hope people ignore what the Vatican says about it. As how can a movie that moves and inspires its audience in such a thrilling and enthralling way be the way of the devil. Im sure the Vatican is just scared that people will turn away from the church and really face the depths of power in our natural world. hmmm maybe the pagans where onto something and its hitting the pope square in the face with this movie!!

i saw it yesterday in 3D, my glasses (eye glasses not 3D) didn't even give me a headache which usually happens if i wear them for a long time. that was how awesome the movie was. it appeals to all emotions: excitement, rage, sorrow, anxious, anger, and yelling "yes!" in your mind when the person you really hated finally died.

its funny that you say go see it twice, because i saw it today, i was blown away by it. its FANTASTIC! it always leaves you wanting more and on edge and not one part is boring! i saw it with the parents today and im going to see it tomorrow with mates and im looking forward to it! id recomment watching it in 3d like you, its so much better.

Hey I'm a kiwi in Aus, saw the movie in 3D last night. It was pretty damn good. I'm happy the glasses weren't red and blue.

Probably hasn't even come out back home. I liked district 9 a little better, more cool weapons and the aliens were nice and ugly the way I like 'em. Maybe I'd need to be a chick to fully appreciate the movie. All the same, it was awesome. I hope they make a sequel.

me and my girls just went and watched it today in 3D. we LOVED it! the creatures, the plants, the different types of Na'vi. i just loved everything about this movie. and since it was my first 3D experience, it makes it even more special. already planing to go watch it again. and when it comes out on Blu-ray, it will be mine!

now only if i could have my own Avatar. that would be awesome.

I watched Zombieland yesterday ..... with the original intention of seeing Avatar .....but it was full and people everywhere .... traffic was busy as hell .... no parking .... kids screaming for toys ..... shopping .... i hate fucking xmas ....... couldnt Jesus have been born in January when everything dies down??? ..... ohhh well ..... ZOMBIELAND was really funny ..... i thought it seemed a bit short tho ...... and the lead actor was so NERDY .... its really neat to see a NERD as the sexy hero.

Unfortunately, I only liked the special effects. The story was 'brightly packaged' but something I've heard before. I'd rate it around 6.5/10.

Not all it didn't. I just found it very dull, unoriginal, predictable and over hyped. I walked out at one point and I was not the only one. I came back five minutes later. Never walked out of a movie or not. Seems to be a film that divides people. You either love it or hate it. I was in the latter category, Nothing to like I'm afraid :(
