  • cool music man, i liked it......Salu2.

    (El Flacuuuu).

  • doh..., it stopped too early.

Seriously, you should concatenate this track with the following on the record... otherwise it's like listening half of this piece. I mean it, they are meant to be heard one immediately after the other.

  • where can i find this picture pls?

  • @Brigancia The picture is "Ivanhoe" by Frank William Warwick Topham -- Google Images will bring it up, or you might try Illusion Gallery (.com)

  • @alangdonco thank you very much!!!!! :-) :-)

  • love it

  • It's funny... Richie is just catching up now. The Moody's were playing this type (medevil/renaissance) of music 40 some odd years ago! Hmm, except of course... there was no Candice! Great stuff back then, great stuff now!

  • @BraveHelios Nay, Moody Blues copied Bach a lot, that was all.

  • Wonderful voice !

  • Love this band, they always sound amazing.

  • simplemente hermoso

  • Thanks for the beautiful song....

    Very nice! :-)

  • o melodie a unor vremuri apuse de demult

Superba asa cum earu acele vremuri

  • Richie is the King and of course Candice is his Queen...

But, not for a day... For eternity!

I love your music sooooo much!

  • Anyone know where I can find an mp3 of this?

  • These days; the simple life, trust in one's leaders and morals like honor, loyalty, humility and compassion have all taken a back seat in some places and are replaced with greed, pride, social superiority and other vices

  • sry guys, but most kings weren't as you are thinking, they used to spend their people money whit their own plesures and make wars just coz they were bored, and the knights used to kill civilians and rape their enemies wifes on the conquered citys, in fact, they are a simbol of anything but a lost era that survives only in our romantic summer's dreams

  • I agree. There is a lot of romanticism about the "Olde Days," but there was very little of what we now take for granted: citizens rights, indoor plumbing, regular food availability, hygiene...the world we live in now is practically a utopia compared to the middle ages.

  • @Hektor88 I see what you're saying. But in some ways, modern technology sometimes makes life a little harder than it should; computers crashing, cars shutting down and polluting the enviornment and don't get me started on all the stupid nukes.

The reasons why I admire and value the Medieval and Rennaisance eras are that life for people were much simpler (for the most part), the warriors back then were more reliable and human morals had a bigger place.

  • This song reminds me how much I love the medieval and rennaisance eras. I wish I could be KING for a day myself, we need someone noble like a king instead of the leaders the world has today

  • dear friend! I agree, sometimes i do want to be queen for a day too, we need someone noble , its true. Our tecknocracy ,commercial interests nowdays delete any principles of honore in humanity life. If you would like to be a king some day , sir ,do it, i can sign the petition!

  • @Eugenia288 I am SO happy that someone still appriciates the virtues of old, like myself

  • I made recovering that there are people who want this virtues in their life a lot of people in this life, just the thing is that we are not connected. smile. what do you think? and the second explanation of this fact to my mind is that this honor take its rute from the specifical persaption of the world and the delicate feeling of the morality gentleness etc. and this is kind of soul. whatever, it is beautiful that we can feel it!

  • @Eugenia288 yes it is

  • Lobster, "renaissance" translates as "rebirth"...give us noble kings again instead of corrupt senators, give us ladies worth to break lances for - have your squires saddle your horse.

  • bellissima.... bye from Salerno

  • It's nice, but I prefer Part II of this song.

    Pure instrumental.

  • great song

  • what a beautiful song!!!

  • His playing is amazing!

  • Her voice is amazing

  • It brings tears in my eyes...Beautiful music,,lovely voice...

  • sad head-movies that make your eyes rain:). and yes, it is beautiful, beautiful indeed, lovely voice too.

  • Greetings, I am of Norse blood and have an affinity to music like this myself. If I belong to any religion it would be of Norse Mythology.

Nice to meet you, fear the dragons!

  • There is one by the way ;)

Called Odinism or Asatru depending on who you ask.

  • que cancion tan magnifica... lo transporta a otros mundos.

  • super shön das ist musik

  • What a romantic song...this will be for my Lady M...

  • Have to say Bob, Beyond.. is not a rambunctious

Flamenco like the beginning of Anya on Battle..

with Purp, but it is a beautiful piece with an excellent melody and there are some tough parts on it.

  • Hey Bob, I just clicked on another vid with the title Beyonf the Sunset. Check it out. It's some Flamenco by Ritchie from one of the Blackmore's Night albums. Unfortunately, I can't remember which one because I usually only look at the sleeves on CD's once then I just listen so I tend not to memorize song titles. You know, too busy an adult schedule. Used to memorize even some lyrics when I was a kid, but now I listen when I can.

  • BobCron, I've seen Ritchie play some accoustic Flamenco traditional fingerstyle as well as his pick style during a show in 2004. I don't know if he does it regularly during the tours, but I can only assume he probably hasn't put much of this type of stuff on Blackmore's Night releases because it would possibly detract from the Renaissance trobadour (minstrels) band feel being projected. There are some tough pieces on a couple of releases though, but with more of a Renaissance style than Flamenco

  • An amazing song, it really showcases Candice's voice beautifully and shows what the band are about. Superb.

  • New album...The Secret Voyage..out now.

  • I don't think there was any percussion in this piece. It is still a great song though:)

  • I just gave this a re-listen, and this time there was no percussion. The last time, it sounded like there was another track mixed in. Must have been a computer glitch. I have also heard a few more Blackmore's Night cuts since I heard this on, and, what can I say, it grows on me. Another used reminded me of the cut, "Spanish Archer," where Ritche does some flamenco on the electric. Since my copy of "House of Blue Light" is analog, I have neglected it for years, and forgot that one.

  • I love this band!!! Another amazing song from Blackmore's Night.

  • charming song

  • Ritchie Blackmore you rule, i loved you with Purple, i loved you with Rainbow.

And i stil love you, keep up the good word mate.

  • Oh my god.. NOW he is great.. This band is amazing, for all.

But in the deep purple ..:S .. the rock is.. so boring..

    Obviuosly.. is a personal opinion..

    Bye

  • Alterego...you were doing great until you said Deep Purple was boring..I've heard them called some things but never that.

    Bye.

  • another fantastic effort from Blackmore's Night

  • I'm always amazed by Candice, she is really a fairy

  • @KenoshKania Either a fairy, a nymph or a goddess. Whatever one, Candice is still a living work of art
