if you made minxes from 1x1-3x3 and then the 5x5, 7x7, 9x9, 11x11, 13x13 and the 15x15 it would be: hektominx as the 1x1, kilominx as the 2x2, megaminx as the 3x3 gigaminx as the 5x5, teraminx as the 7x7, petaminx as the 9x9, examinx as the 11x11, zettaminx as the 13x13 and yottaminx as the 15x15. if you want evenlayered minxes, i guess it would be like this: master kilominx as the 4x4, master gigaminx as the 6x6, master teraminx as the 8x8 etc, etc.

and, if you think of the layer opposite to the one youre turning, as another 4 layers, then you get 4+4=8 layers, plus the massive layer in the middle, so thats 9 layers

and it resembles a 9x9 cube

There are several reasons for this, current 9x9x9 design is patented. Moreover, cubic 9x9x9, using the V-mechanism wouldn't be very stable since it has three times more centerpieces with mirror counterpart and these have a tendency to fall out rather easily when trying to cut corners too much. Different mechanisms could work though. But maybe someone will release 7x8x9 or 7x7x9 or something in the meantime.

I don't think you know anything about how stable a v-mech is. its built for higher order and nothing (I'm convinced) will be more stable that that mech for a 9x9x9 +
