south dakota has some of the biggest bucks i bow hunt near bristol sd and i live in northern mn i was in sd working on the wheat growers new plant in andover sd and my buddy shot a 178 class buck down there during bow season good vid

a .270 and 30-06 shell is bigger and its bullet is too compared to a .308. they have more knockdown power and kick but i like it better. i have a .270 model 770 and i love it.

@lauder12345 the .308 fires a 7.62x51 mm cartridge. the mosin fires a 7.62x54r there isnt much difference.

As everyone is saying, Nice shot and good job. One of the first things to know about hunting however is knowing what the heck your shooting at. I don't know what state you live in but in mine if your going for a buck you get a buck if not you could loose your hunting rights in a big hurry.

@horsesaremylife31899 well it's just hard to get a buck tag. you have to draw for one. and if you dont get in the drawing then you dont hunt at all. but you can get up to 2 doe tags without any hassel.
