  • everytime this comes on, i play the whole solo with my hands banging on whatever is near me. and i always get it 100% everytime

  • I find it ironic how the top comment highlights the fact why Ringo Starr was never a special drummer. He kept time and that was it. There was no other influence in his playing he was simply 'time keeper'. He didn't add anything else to the music unlike say a Ginger Baker or Keith Moon.

'He wasn't following the guys, the guys were following him'

Haha I almost fell of my chair reading that, I don't think I've ever read anything so cheesy in my life! Starr=Most Overrated Ever?!!

  • HEY GUYS,THAT WASN'T RINGO.PAUL PLAYS THIS SOLO!

  • this is where keith moon got the solo for WONT GET FOOLED AGAIN!

  • I just think Ringo was a solid beat drummer. He just kept the beat.Thats what his music was.Keeping the fucking beat. making sure every body could feel the bass drum in their toes.He was a born drummer, and thats what he did. Charlie Watts is the same.Im not comparing them! Im simply saying that those guys just heard the tune, created a beat, and fucking played it. No solo, no explosions, no spandex. They went out,sat on the risers, kept the beat and played their fucking music.Thats why i like them.

  • @xdeadmisfitsx Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

  • Best Drum Solo Ever!

  • Man, Beatles fans overhype all the Beatles musicians. Rolling Stone magazine is the Beatles and Nirvana's bitch. Psh, Dave Ghrol and Ringo Starr get more votes than fucking Buddy Rich on the fan vote of greatest drummers is an absolute joke. If you want to get into the whole "rhythm" section, Charlie Watts is a highly more talented drummer, that man actually grooves. By the way, nobody cares if Ringo can sing, he's mighty rubbish at it and his songwriting is almost by a 7 year old. Silly people.

  • @xDeadMisfitsx Chuck Watts definatly had some creative beats.

  • @xDeadMisfitsx true that

  • Don't be harsh on Ringo. No matter how "un-talented" he may be to all of you, he was a vital part of the greatest band of all time. He can play songs that will emphasize it, not over fill it with drums. He is a left-handed that played a right-handed drum kit, what more could you ask for? And besides, without him, half of the drummers today just played guitars or something. He made drummers equal as a lead vocal in a band.

  • @apapods Way to copy that thing off Rolling Stone.

  • @xDeadMisfitsx Well that was me dude.

  • Dammit! If you sell millions of records ... average amateurs will judge you !

    Damn shame!!

Ringo has the rhythm, style, sound..He can drum and sing to.

Ringo has inspired a generation of drummers..Need more?

  • This sounds more like Ringo's mate Moon the Loon. Keith the daer boy must've slipped this one in whilst Starkey was pissed in the corner. I'm a massive Beatles man, but ringo was just a plodder who looked the part. Lennon never liked all the birds screaming at Pete Best. He must've thought no-one will fancy Ringo with a nose that size. He's turned into an arrogant cock these days & slags him scouse roots off. (" Liverpool I left you, but I never let you down")thats a joke.

  • Mike mangini

  • His drumming did the job perfectly. If you want some of the best technical drumming solos search mike mangini from dream theatre and be bored shitless for 8 minutes!

  • maybe not the best, but DEFINETLY the coolest drummer of all time

  • I always drum along. :)

  • If you say that Ringo can not drum, so you are wrong! Ringo is one of the best drummers who ever lived! Think about what you write here!

  • Only idiots that know absolutely nothing about music and drumming don't realize what an amazing drummer Ringo is.

  • @Maverikk68 There's nothing amazing about his drumming, it just happens to fit the songs and keep everything together.

  • well they kicked out a reasonably good drummer to get ringo, because he suited the Beatles style more, he gave them that solid simple yet interesting beat they needed, to base their music on and around.

  • Ringo = (The reason I started to play the drums) !

  • wow this guy sucks

  • god .!!PLEASE!! take ringo and brind back Buddy Rich.

  • the rock, the foundation - the man: Ringo Starr! :)

  • lol the thing to check if you are posting all those comments said big asses

  • if you are going to put a modern day pop star over any of the Beatles you suck Ringo Starr is one of the biggest Starr in star history i dont know why everyones making long stuff but if you dont like ringo then go listen to other stuff why should (whoever dislikes him) you give a crap

  • Ringo is by no means a terrible drummer, but he is not a good drummer from a drummer's perspective. I also hate this "he's very musical" thing that people regurgitate as if it's going out of fashion, he's just not very good at drumming, but managed to fit into some fairly good songs.

  • @SgtSpankey I think you're confused here. I'm a drummer and I love Ringo's playing. All the drummers I know love Ringo's playing. He is a drummer's drummer more than someone like Neil Peart (just as an example) is. Peart's genius is obvious, Ringo's is more subtle. All of his beats are perfect for the song and his fills are tasteful.

Also lothariam is correct. Ringo was the first drummer who used matched grip to become famous, all other known drummers before him played with traditional grip.

  • @comradet0m Sorry for being "confused". You don't have to be condescending, I don't thing Ringo is very talented, I don't think there's any subtlety about it.

  • @SgtSpankey I find a lot of subtlety in Ringo's playing. His fills in "A Day In The Life" for me are amazing pieces of musicianship which serve to add to the song without overpowering it. Ringo always plays for the song, never makes the song play for him. I'm sorry for being condescending, though, I just get a bit uptight when people judge Ringo harshly when I feel that he doesn't deserve it.

  • @comradet0m also, he didn't invent matched grip.

  • @SgtSpankey Yet real drummers who are famous (which you obviously aren't good enough to be) say the exact opposite of what you say. Hmmm...who do you suppose is right?

  • @Maverikk68 Well I disagree with them. And I am indeed not famous, partly because I wouldn't consider myself a good enough drummer and I'm not in a band, though that doesn't mean I'm not entitled to an opinion on Ringo Starr being a shitty drummer.

  • I don't mean for this to be one of them long speeches but, I just wanna say, anyone hating on Ringo needs to show some respect. He may not be the best drummer of all time, but he fits in with the style of the Beatles. If it weren't for his simple drumming, they wouldn't sound as good as they do.

  • Scanned down, reading about half the comments on this page. It surprises me, how much controversy there is over Ringo starr's ability to play the drums. But guess what? He DID play drums, competently, every time. McCartney did put drum tracks on a handful of Beatles' songs, but otherwise, it was all Starr. What he did was right for the music he played, it helped make it what it is. He is recognized by his peers as the talent he is, so who cares if Neil Peart can outdo him? BOTH are great.

  • Ringo was a great drummer because no one sounds like him. The way he played really lent itself to the beatles style of music, and he was really innovative. not flashy, not a virtuoso, but a really great drummer. and as long as were talking about beatles drumming, im pretty impressed by some of pauls drumming sometimes.

  • The best drummer in the fuck"$%!! history!!!

  • Please someone tell me, who you can put ringo starr in the same category as buddy rich and dave weckl, and yes you have because some of you on this video have called him one of the best drummers of all time. ???

  • The difference between ringo and other drummers, is that drummers make beats with their drums and Ringo somehow, makes music.

  • @Friendpersonkid thank you!!! Atleast someone recognizes how great he is.

  • @Friendpersonkid What the hell is that supposed to mean?

  • @hippymonkmon It means, other people make just regular beats. Just the regular generic drum beats that go with pretty much every song you listen to. But Ringo drums in a way that you can recognize the song without the rest of the instruments.

  • @Friendpersonkid Yeah I guess. There were and still are better drummers than Ringo, but I'd have to admit that what he added to the band was fairly unique for the time.

  • Ringo is a great guy and really amazing drummer. He has that feel that's between a shuffle and straight eights -- Ringo territory that nobody else can do. The drum fills on A Day In The Life are very complex things. You could take a great drummer today and say, 'I want it like that.' They wouldn't know what to do

  • Ringo had some subtle rhythms if one isn't listening carefully ... he wasn't a power drummer like Bohnam, he was a different type of drummer ... summing it up for Ringo, Buddy Rich said .. "he's ok .." ... which means Ringo is better than most people were aware of ... if Buddy said that about you as a drummer, then everyone else should just shut-up.

  • @gdosic Buddy Rich was fucking boss. If buddy rich even knows who you are then you're the best at anything you're doing.

  • It so aggravates me when I hear someone say that Ringo was lame; quite the contrary! His drumming was incredibly musical - he played "the song" and thus came up with some of the most interesting drum parts ever! ...you can teach Anyone to play the beat - it's a different thing altogether to play the song.

  • What Song is This?

  • @anonymousmessenger23 The End... It's a part of the abbey road medley. Which is like 20 minutes long.

  • este solo no lo hace ringo! es Paul el que toca.

  • Ringo is my favorite Beatles out of the 4

  • Shut The F%&k Off AND LISTEN TO THE FUCKING SOLO DAMN!!!

  • Ringo is THE LAW when it comes to drumming for a song. There was really no one better for The Beatles, PERIOD!

  • @budwudd

    'Cept Bernard Purdie of course

  • Ringo is one of the greatest drummers of all time! Why? Because he did what a drummer is supposed to do, he kept steady time and accompanied the other musicians perfectly. Listen to any record that comes out today and you're bound to hear the drummer adding things that doesn't belong.

  • @MrBerenstain Hey, I love good ol Ringo myself, but your comment is completely over the wall. Even Ringo admits he is, and has always been, just a basic back beat drummer with great timing. John Bonham, and Keith Moon were two of Rocks true talents on drums. And that "Listen to any record that comes out today" lip service is totally unfounded. You obviously are not listening to anything new at all. With no clue of what belongs anywhere. Don't let idolizing Ringo block your grip on reality.

  • @Ghstwn LOLYou basically repeated what I said in my comment. "He kept steady time and accompanied the other musicians perfectly." "Even Ringo admits he is, and has always been, just a basic back beat drummer with great timing." I don't idolize Ringo as all. I idolize drummers like Mitch Mitchell, Buddy Rich, Louie Bellson, Neil Peart, John Bonham. And trust me, I know a drummer that overplays when I hear one. I USED TO BE ONE! I can name plenty of bands that have drummers that try to show off.

  • Ringo was an extremely creative drummer. Get Back and Come Together are great examples of that.

  • Ringo doesn't ruin what John,Paul and George play. His drum sound perfectly well and fits great with the best composers of the 20th century. That is why he is great

  • Hah, he did the ENITRE Iron Butterfly "Inna Gadda Da Nidda) (sic) drum solo in 20 seconds, no compare that with 15 minutes!

  • Ringo didn't even want to do the drum solo on this song, but Paul convinced him to do it...

  • Geniaaaaaalll!!!!! J'adore (The Beatles forever)

  • If Anyone Thinks Ringo Isn't A Good Drummer....Listen To Helter Skelter.!

  • Ringo is a consummate professional musician. He always strove to give each songwriter in his band what he wanted even if their ideas were slightly out his element. He's also a master of "space" in rhythm. Everything that he plays breathe and the songs are better for it. It takes humility and professionalism to play that way. Thus, he deserves to be called the one of the greatest drummers in history.

  • Comment removed

  • Ringo wasn't flashy and technical and didn't do a bunch of crazy solos, but he did what drummers are suppost to do first and foremost, and that is keep great time and play drum parts that fit and flow with the song. I don't like it when drummers overplay things and crowd the sound, that's why my favorite drummers are Ringo and Chad Smith because both have tremendous groove and fit their respective bands perfectly, they don't need crazy solos to sound good.

  • the reason that Ringo is a great drummer is because he compliments any song perfectly. he's not the type to show off. If Neil Peart was the drummer for The Beatles, it wouldn't work, period. Ringo is versatile and can create the best beat for any tune.

  • I am going to end all debates. i could only read so many comment's and can't stand it anymore. Ringo was NOT the best drummer ever. Ringo was NOT the best at keeping time nor rythem. Rigo was NOT the fastest. Ringo was NOT.... well ya know what. Ringo wasn't a lot of things... let's face it. If anyone would do some research, they would clearly find that Both John AND Paul have said themselves he's not even the best drummer in the group. Guess what tho people. Ringo is a Beatle.

  • @MrBerserkGiles lets see:

"Ringo was a star in his own right in Liverpool before we even met. He was a professional drummer who sang and performed and had Ringo Star-time and he was in one of the top groups in Britain but especially in Liverpool before we even had a drummer. So Ringo's talent would have come out one way or the other as something or other." -John Lennon, Playboy 1980 Interview

He might not be flashy and "technical" like typical drummers. But he gets the job done smoothly.

  • @MrBerserkGiles I will not put Ringo forth as a God, and you generally carry your point well, but I must point out that the comments you cited from John and Paul were snark. Both at one point or another have stated that they did think of him as one of the better rock drummers. And yes, he was not the fastest, and not the most technical, but he did keep time and rhythm excellently. And although he won't bust your balls like Peart or Bonham he certainly has qualities which make him a good drummer.

  • @MrBerserkGiles

    Amen brother, A-fuckin-men.

Being saying it myself for ages

  • @MrBerserkGiles Yes :) Also notice that the Beatles suddenly were a big hit after they got Ringo.

  • This deserves to be heard on BIG speakers. This clip only suggestive of the real thing. Please go listen!

  • ringo does`nt need apoligies, he was a beatle and they are the best rock and roll group in the world, and john and paul knew who was best for them,he brought professionalism to the band, and just think how many more technical players would have killed to be a beatle

  • I think the man deserves some respect. I don't think this is on his top 5 best drum tracks and yet people here (most if not all can't even play better) thought fast and flashy is what makes you good, you are wrong. Many people today thought that The Beatles were mostly pop songs with no fancy drumming and that's why they would diss Ringo and would rather look at Led Zep for example for heavy rock drumming by Bonzo. I tell you if Ringo's not good how come kids play his tracks here on Youtube??

  • Ok, cut the crap : Ringo is the greatest drummer who ever lived. Respected in his simplicity, yet fierce in complexity, Richard Starkey practically made the ground for drummers, including John fucking Bohnam. And yes, I'm a huge Zep fan, but give this guy a break, and stop sourcing from Wikipedia links. It makes you sound stupid...... Er, wait...

  • A lot of Ringo's drumming sounds simple but is extremely difficult to replicate. Try playing this solo note for note. It's harder than it sounds.

  • @Eezim Ringo was great and he played great in the Beatles. I think what people get frustrated is the lack of recognition in comparison people like Dirk Verbeuren or George Kollias get. Whom are, by definition much more technically talented and better drummers. Ringo was very lucky in that he didn't need to be that good to become so massively rich and famous! Ringo & Beatles were fantastic, just commenting for the people who are saying these things.

  • Everybody that says oh ringo sucks but he was part of the greatest band ever, then they says yea look at blah blah, everyone should stop dreaming and admit that Neil Peart is the best that has ever lived.

  • here's to paul for writing this for lovely ringo :)

  • yea ringo can go down as the best drummer along with meg white lol i mean i get not all songs are about speed and complexity but this man played the same drum beat over and over again. i play piano guitar and bass but cant play drums.... except for beatles and other simple stuff

  • John Lennon-"Pete Best was a great drummer, but Ringo was a Beatle"

  • my friends a drummer also, and she let me have a go on her kit, but i kept getting my hands crossed, turns out i'm a left handed drummer like ringo

    XD

    he kicks ass.

  • seriously a solo??? Paaaahahaha i see this article on the net saying oh ringo was one fo the best drummers of all time hes stuff was simple but effective bla bla. Thats a load of shite to me hes rubbish, paul mccartney used to do the drum tracks in the studio and he even said that himself so how can this man be respected. 1 Name for you JOHN BONHAM

  • @waitlinline90 You talk a lot of garbage. Ringo drummed in the studio, so stop spreading bullshit lies. Paul drummed on 3 Beatle songs (Back In The U.S.S.R, Dear Prudence and Ballad of John and Yoko) The rest of The Beatles outuput on record from 1962-1970 was drummed by Ringo. And he was a damn good drummer who fitted in with their sound. Why else would John Lennon and George Harrison have used Ringo on their solo records? Ringo wasn't tecnhically good...but he played exactly what they wanted.

  • @FaithIsAnnoyed Garbage!? Haha Not at all! Ringo was only brought into the beatles because their original drummer was too good with the ladies which got Paul and John pissed. Do you think Robert and Jimmy told John what to do? No i dont think so, the man has no soul

  • Its a solo? I taught he drop'd his drum set down the stairs!

(Wanna hear a good solo from the same era, go watch Wipe Out from The Venture!)

  • To all saying it's a bad solo, remember it wasn't originally meant to be a solo at all. Just another accompaniment.

  • you can be a good drummer but not a good musician.

  • i learned that solo on 1 minut -.- its soooo boring!!

  • How come people don't class 'birthday' as one of his solos?

  • PERFECT

    AWESOME

    BEAUTIFUL

    I LOVE HIM

  • check out my Greatest 60 Drum Songs of rock n roll its got so much beatles!!!! good things there enough beatles fans on here most people knock them elsewhere, they don't know good music

  • But because of this medley I said, "Well, a token solo?" and he really dug his heels in and didn't want to do it. But after a little bit of gentle persuasion I said, "Yeah, just do that, it wouldn't be Buddy Rich gone mad," because I think that's what he didn't want to do.Paul McCartney

The Complete Beatles Recording Sessions, Mark Lewisohn I stand corrected by Paul McCartney. But I'm sure I saw an interview years ago with Paul saying it was him on drums. but, mybad.

  • Nobody plays like Ringo dude. Mike Portnoy can kiss his ass.

  • I hate bursting bubbles, but that is not ringo on drums, it's paul mccartney

  • @mdlravage

I don't mind bursting bubbles, that's not Ringo Starr on drums, it's Bernard Purdie

  • @mdlravage umm paul only played drums on back in the ussr dear prudence and ballad of john and yoko

  • Why does Ringo suck? Because he doesn't play fast? Because it's not difficult to play? That doesn't mean anything. It sounds good. Just 'cause a song is hard to play doesn't make the person playing it good. This song rocks and I like Ringo on the drums 'cause it sounds good.

  • @Eezim its not that he doesnt play fast. He couldn't play fast if he tried.

  • @Eezim most times paul played

  • @Eezim what your saying does make some sense in that playing fast isn't everything, but you do have to have a bit more skill than just playing 8th and 16th notes the whole time for ringo starr to be classed a 'very good drummer' :). Ever heard of dave weckl? he doesn't play a million mph all the time but his music is really tasteful! :) :)

  • @Eezim besides u can be playing fast with alot of notes but sounds like shit or little to almsot nothing and be a f***ing legend

  • @Eezim And he's got such a groove and a swing which often miss in the main part of the very technical drummers (see Mike Portnoy, who's one of the most technicals in the world, but he just cannot play a Shouffle the way it must be played)

  • @Eezim Ringo does not suck!!!!!!!

  • @Eezim If you're saying that your not a good drummer if you do fast-complex polyrhythms, then your basically saying ringo is better than buddy rich. Yea ok, i'm not saying that ringo is a bad drummer and i know that he plays for the music, but even when it comes to his solo he doesn't show much off! :)

  • @jamesdancer73 This solo wasn't even meant to be a solo, Paul, John, and George recorded guitar tracks over his drumming originally. Ringo doesn't really do solos, he said so himself.

But nonetheless, this is a fantastic Solo, it's simple, straight to the point, and it sounds great!

  • @Eezim he invented the new way of holding sticks. and invented modern rock beats as well

  • @lothariam ...are you kidding?

  • @Eezim people say he sucks cuz he didnt make ay songs if he did make song most good songs were to paul and john thats why people say he sucks lol

hes just a drummer for the beatles but hey hes was their drummer lol

  • @Eezim people say he sucks cuz he didnt make ay songs if he did make song most good songs were to paul and john thats why people say he sucks lol

hes just a drummer for the beatles but hey hes was their drummer lol

  • @DuppymanDnB you my friend, are an ass

  • @johnpaulgeorring its just....man...ugh

  • @DuppymanDnB do you think joey jordison would play this song better... hahaha :D LOL, Starr rocks!

  • the strawberry fields outro is kind of a solo too, right?

  • @longview1987 fuckin right! Its just played behind some sort of electroic synthesizer track backed with john saying " cranberr sauce" at the end, if you listen closelt, he says cranberry sauce again, followed by, " Alright, calm down ringo." Greatest drummer ever,

  • Doesn't he have a drum solo in hello goodbye?

  • I had my picture taken walking across that very crosswalk on Abbey Road in London... Its right in front of Abbey Road studios... I met people from Holland and China looking for the same crosswalk... people come from all over the world looking for it...

  • Too easy...Ringo's son is miles way better than him! Yeah,I like Zak Starkey, but respect for his father.

  • Type in "Soilwork Drummer" in youtube (video = Drumrecording for Soilwork upcoming album) and compare the skill level of this drummer and that

  • The 13 People That Hit Dislike Thought It Said "Dis I Like"

  • @Standrew777 the other two were high and clicked the wrong button

  • @leatherfaze03 LOL!! So True.

  • This Guy Is REALLY Under Rated!!!!!

  • This guy is overrated

  • @ViscaBarca757

    What? If anything, he's underrated.

  • @ViscaBarca757 no man hes not like egotistic ddrummers who steal the dhow and is overpowered with the sound

  • @krazyalltheway Amen.

  • @ViscaBarca757 What Are you talking about if anyones overrated its Neil Peart

  • Ringo's real solo is at the end of Strawberry Fields Forever. Everybody knows this one because its an isolated solo, instead of being covered in other instruments. This is still a cool solo and it's really difficult to play properly (especially for a right-handed player, since Ringo starts on the toms with his left).

  • There is so much criticism in this solo. Sure, Ringo is not the best drummer but I bet, 90% of you who watched this video can't even do half as good as this, especially on the steady bass drum part playing on 8 notes and you say he was bad that most of you can't do any better. Even with you critics, that does not change the fact that he was the drummer for the greatest band ever. He is not flashy but a subtle genius.

  • @Ishi680

I can play this perfect, so exclude me in that message :)

  • @Ishi680 I Must Be The One Of The 20% Because I Can Play It REALLY Good, But, I WILL NEVER EVER Play As Good As Ringo On SO MANY Other Songs. XD

  • Ringo Sux

  • @Bargimovich

    No, it's spelled S-T-A-R-R.

  • @YoshiTheBlue Lol I love that. :D

  • @Bargimovich you suck...

  • @clas78690

It's my opinion, fuck you asshole, inglese di merda ti do fuoco

  • @Bargimovich first..is Starr, second his not an asshole i can see that u have never hear abbey road drums,i dont understand why if u hate ringo starr u are listen to this video, eso no tiene ningun sentido

  • @clas78690

just because Starr happened to be the drummer of one of the most famous Pop bands ever..doesn't make him a good drummer. It just makes him lucky

  • @Bargimovich Of course it makes him a good drummer..a fantastic i would said because without drummers there's not band, that mean not beatles....and that the essence of the band...everyone in the beatles was unic and kick ass musicians and i think that george, john and paul were not such idiots for hire a "lucky drummer" as you say...

  • @Bargimovich You clearly are not a Beatles fan or you haven't heard most of The Beatles's songs. I suggest you watch the video of "I'm Gonna Sit Right Down And Cry Over You" which is an Elvis song that The Beatles covered around 1962 or 1963 and see if Ringo was not talented that they hired him...... He is not the best drummer but there is no denying he is still damn too good and he continues to be my primary drumming idol.

  • @Bargimovich No You Do!!!

  • love that Yoko....did good thing breaking up those scouse gits

  • Jeez, listen to that Bass drum a-tappin'. I could never do what. O.o

  • i dont think its his only drum solo. There is a solo in the end of strawberry fields.

  • Beatles wrote 283 songs...41 of them turned out to be #1 hits. All 4 members could write and sing #1 hits. Ringo's hits stick in my head. My great grandchildren will sing Ringo's fun hits in kindergarten 70 yrs from now...will they be singing Lady Gaga?, Britney, Ke$ha? What would you say if I sang out of tune...would you stand up and walk out on me? Bun E Carlos plays this same solo at the beginning of Cheap Trick's live cover of "Ain't That a Shame".

  • this isnt a drum solo i clearly hear music and vocals

  • @MsBobohj The solo starts in 0:22

  • Reminds me of what Mitch Mitchell played at the beginning of "I Don't Live Today" (Hendrix)

  • @ralphmwhite3 That was popular at that time. Only thing the same is the 8th's on the bass drum.

  • @bpivr lol oh yeah mr professor? because comparing a black american blues musician from the 1930s to a bunch of white british 60s kids the way you did tells me i shouldn't be listening to any opinion of yours on the matter anyway. music history... bitch please

  • Beatles are amazing! :D That drum solo was in get back and its a fantastic bit of drumming!

  • what about the solo at the end of Strawberry fields forever?

  • Saying The Beatles are a lame band is a little like saying Robert Johnson was a lame blues guitarist. Compared to what was around at the time, both were quite innovative and fresh. If you don't believe The Beatles improved pop, go back listen to your New Christie Minstrels and Frankie Avalon records in peace.

  • @bpivr it's nothing like that. the beatles were fashionably awry posers who wrote fashionably awry poser "music" and we all know fashion has a short shelf life. the beatles are pathetic old men. they always were from where i'm standing.

  • @kitchen867 there pathetic old men? They may be old buy they have sold over 12 million albums sold in the US alone. This hasnt been beat. There not pathetic. Why are you watching there videos if you don't like them?

  • @brecre you can quote the millions of records they've sold until you're blue in the face. that doesn't impress me or anybody else who listens to music because they enjoy it. i'm watching the video because i play the drums.

  • @kitchen867 Then tell me who the fuck you think had more of an influence on music than The Beatles. I'm all ears!

  • @TheAlexBasso Pythagoras

    but seriously... you're kidding right?

  • @TheAlexBasso I guess he did a PRETTY good job... But I was referring more to modern music.

  • @TheAlexBasso RUSH ... They influence generations of musicians, even converting listeners into musicians. And there are only 3 group members. Never can say the same about Beatles.

  • @dlyciousmusic Then youve missed the point !!

  • @dlyciousmusic I'm preeeeeeeeety sure Rush was influenced by The Beatles. And you say that The Beatles never "influenced generations of musicians, even converting listeners into musicians." Then maybe you should wiki the 'list of artists who have covered The Beatles.'

  • @TheAlexBasso Awww dude we allknow The Beatles influenced huge number of bands. Thats how music works, for awhile it was getting better and better (dont know whats happened nowmind you) but I cant stand Ringo, he come off with this "Im amazing" attitude. No dude your are not, Paul John and George were/are and always will be and Ringo can well be Ringo...he shoudlve gone back to Thomas The Tank Engine.

  • @kitchen867 oh my, how will they ever survive such pithy (awry?) criticism? you've made your point - about your lack of understanding of music history, that is.

  • @AllegedClock

    SHUT THE FUCK UP DUDE

    SHE DID NOT DESTROY IT

THINK BEFORE YOU TALK DUMB ASS

ITS A PROVEN FACT AND PAUL MCCARTNEY AND RINGO SAID IT TO

THEY SAID YOKO DID NOT BREAK UP THE BEATLES ALL YOKO DID WAS LOVE JOHN AND MAKE HIM HAPPY SO IF YOU DONT LIKE THAT ALLEGEDCLOCK THEN FUCK YOU

  • @grantlockwood98 u forgot ur caps lock on. yoko made john to try new types of music and forgot the old better ways and yoko was ALWAYS disturbing rest of the band when she was everywhere with them in music studios or recordings (and thats not even half of it). in nother ways she was a BITCH WHO DISTROYED BEATLES AND TURNED JOHN INTO THE DARK SIDE OF JAPANESE PEOPLE
