I bought guitar hero 4 (world tour) on wii and yes I was surprised by the delay in notes. So yes I agree with you on that one but once I calibrated, it was just fine. But we all have our opinions - good and bad.

your talking about nano seconds of difference in the transmitting speed... so what your saying is actually not the correct reason there is the lag. The delay is actually in the system alone. The xbox is a much more powerful system than the wii, So the xbox is much faster at processing. I agree with the other stuff you said though!

I got Guitar Hero 5 package on the Wii along with Guitar Hero World Tour software free. I've been playing since Oct 1 and I can see where you're coming from Matt! The response isn't perfect everytime so I'm losing points for the controller delay. Having full battery doesn't seem to make a difference. Nintendo need to sort this out...

sensor bar is only for IR. actually you don't need the sensor bar at all to play GH.....

@Phengmlee I have a good....maybe a great sensor bar, rechargeable battery pack for my Wiimote, and I have the issue (I get no more than 4 stars in Expert).

I go over to my friend's with his 360, and I can get 5 stars in almost every song on Expert.

Great. Absolutely perfect, and spot on too. The Wii is a last gen console that tries to fit in with the new boys. It's PS2-Gamecube graphics don't cut it anymore, when compared to gorgeous games like Assassin's Creed, Battlefield: Bad Company, Halo 3, Little Big Planet... and for games like Guitar Hero the playability is made less intuitive because of it. GH3 for example - On the Wii and PS2 versions it's blurry as shit.

I'll agree the Wii has some major flaws, although I wouldn't consider the graphics to be one of them. It doesn't have as good of graphics as the PS3 and 360, but they are significantly better than the PS2 and Gamecube. The Wii graphics are at least sufficient, and in most games' cases, I really don't think the graphics are blurry as shit. As long as the graphics are clear and legible, I really don't see how that would get in the way of the gameplay.

Look at games that appear on both the Wii and the PS2... they use exactly the same graphics. Why? Because Nintendolts are too stupid to realise that motion sensitivity isn't exciting anymore, especially when it's not actually moving the Wiimote in a certain way, but rather swinging it around caveman style in the hope of something good happening.

I understand that Nintendo has taken the motion sensitive control the wrong way recently. However, I am just saying that the Wii's graphics are not horrible like you say they are. Some games do have bad graphics, but if you look at games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Mario Kart, and Twilight Princess, you will see that they are significantly better than PS2 graphics.

The Wii should have better graphics, although they are currently not blurry as shit.

I've gone through a similar experience as you. When I first started playing the 360 I loved way more then the Wii. I then thought the Wii sucked and didn't play for awhile even maybe trading it in. But then I thought about Nintendo's greats and I realized that Nintendo really was the superior company.
