ABOUT MASATO SHIMON (子門真人) & STARWARS:

With his "explosion-signature" hairstyle, Masato Shimon (子門真人) was a well-known Japanese singer, in 60's to early 80s, who mainly sang anime, tokusatsu and Kamen Rider songs.

This song, Star Wars main title, sung by Mr. Shimon, was originally a disco version, of which lyrics was by 有川正沙子. The Japanese title of this song was 子門真人「スターウォーズのテーマ ～カンテナバージョン～」.

The original disco version without the vocal was available in the US.
