i notice your tuning on the 4th till the 2nd string is way too far...(D to G, G to D and B to G), Do you still use the standard gauge sstring becoz for sure the tension will be differnt on each strings and it would be unpleasant to play. If you do change the strings accordingly, then you might not find the guitar useful for other songs.. Are you sure this is the right way the original guitarist did it? thanks :)

@elangdewa75 This is my own style, it is not my intention to copy the original guitarist. You can read why I do this in my online tutorial, the link is in the description of this video. I use standard gauge, no problem at all there with the tension. When playing live I do need to retune my guitar between songs in front of the audience , that is a bit annoying, but it works. Carrying 2 guitars would be better ;)

elangdewa75 I think you miss understood about guitar tunning . the tunning high to low is mean high note to low note not above to below. high note is the 1st string from below. so the tunning from above is D - G - D - G - B - E.

@cools17 I practiced a long time on this one. But I use this fingerpicking technique already many years. My example was a Dutch guitar player named Harry Sacksioni. I made a cover of one of his songs, look for video 3LrK2M5TLe4 on youtube. You can find other Harry Sacksioni videos as well.

Yes, I agree the right hand is hard because you have to take care of many things at the same time, the rhythm, the right strings, and there's a bass line that is kinda separate from the plucking . No, the tuning is not common. The original artists use a normal tuning. I use this tuning so I can mix a bass sound and rhythm (especially the low D string) together with the chords. I kinda try to replace the bass guitar :)

I think you really must learn how to read the guitar tabs. If you google for "how to read guitar tabs" you can find many tutorials. Once you have learned this you can see exactly what my left hand does and which strings you have to play with your right hand.

The rhythm and the playing style are always the same. From 1:39 to 2:03 you can see that sometimes my thumb plays the 2nd string instead of the 1st. And there are some minor variations with the other fingers as well. But you can see that exactly when you study the tabs on my website. And you can download the midi file there (especially the slow version is very useful to learn) and try to play along with it. Good luck.
