  • it seems this guy has done this so many times its natural (other videos of it)

  • the guy piloting the catalina is a stupid pilot with an ego, doesnt he realise thats a classic plane and should be looked after in such a way ,thats why so much of our world war two aviation heritage is lost year after year.

  • @lanc101 I'v talked too the pilot and flown with him I think he is the safest pilot around he knows what he's doing. I fly WW2 aircraft weekly. I'v flown mustangs, b17,b25, a26, t6, p63 and etc. I wish I hadn't sold my Douglas A 26 Invader but at least I have my T6.

  • "Alright, Everyone off the runway..." ...yeaaa....

  • Yikes! Don't let the FAA see you do that! Daaaaamn!

  • @ejlister actually it is perfectly legal, after all landing is the lowest pass of all

    but I get your point

  • I may know the owner of that blue T-6

  • Yeh.Me too.

  • Nice low pass-)

  • AWESOME

  • sick

  • I've flown Charlie's PBY twice... but the best part is hanging out the back throwing flour bombs at people. Too bad he's selling it.

  • supercatalina?

    Was'nt aware there was one.

  • Super Cat refers to the larger engines, same ones as a B-25 RB 2600s ?

  • that is insane...would have loved to have been there.

  • The slow motion effect of the props is called strobing.

  • Look at the propellers! It seems they are moving extremely slowly. How come?!

  • Yeah, thats an interesting visual phenomenon. There's a technical word for it, but I can't remember. Basically, it happens when the camera's speed matches closely with the RPMs of the prop, slowing things down. Example: Look at a spinning ceiling fan, then blink your eyes quickly, you'll see the blades slow down or hold still for a split second.

  • That's Charlie(pilot) allright!! Ha, I saw him do that yesterday. but when I saw him do the low pass, he turned sharply at the same time!

  • that explains why they come to base and you can see tree sticks all over the plane rope's... geez

  • jesus christ that was as low as u could get!!!

  • no it could have benn worse, it could chopped them all in half

  • Because he was throwing neither horse shoes nor hand grenades, he did not almost hit the trees.
