I am currently on base (on leave), in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. But we are being redeployed soon. The media has spread so much false information about what's going on over there. Like I said, good news doesn't make for a "good story".

@SoonToBeSWCC I'm starting to doubt your position in the Navy because otherwise you'd know that when I said my brother is MARSOC, you'd know he is Force Recon, his 2nd FORECON unit was deactivated its command, they took all the best and most experienced operators and used them to fill the ranks of MSOBs. If you truly were Navy you'd know there is no such thing as Force Recon anymore, they are either MSOBs, and DRPs. While they are still "Force Reconnaissance" technically they are not.

@SoonToBeSWCC let's break this down, MARSOC = 105 on the ASVAB, SWCC = 104, For SWCC requirement #8. Swimming: Must be qualified as a Second Class Swimmer or better. For MARSOC it is Possess a 1st class swimmer qualification. SWCC requires a 500m swim in 12:00, MARSOC is 10:00. also You must do 42 push ups in 2 minutes for SWCC, 45 for MARSOC, 50 situps SWCC, 60 MARSOC, 6 pull ups SWCC, 15 MARSOC. Shall I go on? I'll link you both of the Navy SWCC and MARSOC sites if you'd like.

If they take 17 year old's there IS NO 2 YEAR SERVICE BEFORE before you can even be CONSIDERED for Recon you must have 3 years service or 2 deployments. So they obviously don't take 17-18 year olds

Now put your helmet on before you read because it might hurt to think hard. Week 9 is the last physical standard minimums met before someone can go out for Seal or SWCC; swim 500 yards in 10:00, wait 10 mins, 79 pushups, wait 2 mins, 79 situps, wait 2 mins, 12 pullups, wait 10 mins, 1.5 mile run in 10:20 or better. Those are mininum week 9

A British unit is getting air support from a A10 and as they are cheering the A10 comes back for another strafing run and they get danger close, you can actually see the 30mm rounds hitting the ground beyond 20 yard's from them. Its kinda scary but kinda cool at the same time cause everyone was alright in the end.

I am currently on base (on leave), in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. But we are being redeployed soon. The media has spread so much false information about what's going on over there. Like I said, good news doesn't make for a "good story".

That's the LOWEST out of all the Branches. 2, unless he's Force Recon, saying "front line" is over stretching it. BUD/s is the hardest training program in the World. That's over your brothers training and over Force Recon training. 3, It's sad to say SWCC's have trained Marines on LAND NAV.

@SoonToBeSWCC I'm starting to doubt your position in the Navy because otherwise you'd know that when I said my brother is MARSOC, you'd know he is Force Recon, his 2nd FORECON unit was deactivated its command, they took all the best and most experienced operators and used them to fill the ranks of MSOBs. If you truly were Navy you'd know there is no such thing as Force Recon anymore, they are either MSOBs, and DRPs. While they are still "Force Reconnaissance" technically they are not.

@SoonToBeSWCC If you were Navy you'd know this, so I call bullshit. They haven't been known as Force Recon for YEARS! Its I MEF and II MEF now, and has been for quite some time. And I don't know where you got your info from but MEF training far beyond SWCC there man, SWCC isn't even required to have 20/20 vision, the scores are lower requirements, even the physical requirements are a joke I could do them and I'm not even enlisted. So please go be a fake Navy boy somewhere else. k thx

@SoonToBeSWCC and just on a final note just to bury you even further. In order to even be CONSIDERED for MARSOC you need at least 2 year's of field experience, SWCC recruits 17 year old's with a parents permission "says so right in their requirements" so honestly how hard can a training course for SWCC be that takes people with no combat experience at all? And doesn't even require perfect 20/20 vision. You are the hero of your own story there buddy, but a fake loser in my book.

@darksniper1982 Hush youngin. Dumbasses can't speak. I never said I was an active operator. I said I was training. See unlike Marines, NSW has higher standards on being smart and physical egility. Seals and SWCCs both start 17 consent to 30 if I'm remembering the age right. People train for years before going out for the NSW. And now I know for sure your talking out of your ass because ALL Navy is 20/20 or better. I'm pretty sure the rest of the US military would be the same way.

@SoonToBeSWCC let's break this down, MARSOC = 105 on the ASVAB, SWCC = 104, For SWCC requirement #8. Swimming: Must be qualified as a Second Class Swimmer or better. For MARSOC it is Possess a 1st class swimmer qualification. SWCC requires a 500m swim in 12:00, MARSOC is 10:00. also You must do 42 push ups in 2 minutes for SWCC, 45 for MARSOC, 50 situps SWCC, 60 MARSOC, 6 pull ups SWCC, 15 MARSOC. Shall I go on? I'll link you both of the Navy SWCC and MARSOC sites if you'd like.

@darksniper1982 The reason for the age set is because if someone is over 30, with MOST people, they can't perform physical feats as well, which is why Olympic Gymnists are between 16 and 20. So bless you for trying to talk shit about SWCC's, it was a cute approach for some other dumbass to read like you. And like I said, you couldn't make basic in Navy, your brother I'm sure, but doubt a recon jari would last in the NSW training. And I know the requirements for Force Recon and Army SF.

@darkpussy Both of those programs are 2 years service before, but has nothing to do with how froo froo their training may be besides Army SF which is hard. But when Marines and their FORCE RECON are fed milk and cookies during training it isn't that bad right? You should stop trying to act like you know legit stuff because you seem to pose off big bro's stories and you make up lies about vision. @SoonToBeSWCC and SWCC doesn't have a 2 year service before you moron. I'll post this also right from SWCC's website, Following is a list of requirements to enter the program: 1. U.S. Citizen 2. Age: 18-30 years old or less (17 with parental permission). Age waiver is possible on a case-by-case basis. If they take 17 year old's there IS NO 2 YEAR SERVICE BEFORE before you can even be CONSIDERED for Recon you must have 3 years service or 2 deployments. So they obviously don't take 17-18 year olds

@darksniper1982 Little pimple, the list you just gave for SWCC as far as the requirements are the minimum physical requirements. Now put your helmet on before you read because it might hurt to think hard. Week 9 is the last physical standard minimums met before someone can go out for Seal or SWCC; swim 500 yards in 10:00, wait 10 mins, 79 pushups, wait 2 mins, 79 situps, wait 2 mins, 12 pullups, wait 10 mins, 1.5 mile run in 10:20 or better. Those are mininum week 9

@darksniper1982 Hell, I don't even think Force Recon have to go through drown proofing, underwater gear swaps, a 14 mile 3or 4 times a week ontop of all the other phyiscal and classroom, etc. I know for sure regular Marines don't lol. And if you would've kept that helmet on your head longer you'd know once you get about 29 or 30, your body starts going down hill. THATS why Seals and SWCCs take harder shit in training cause their bodies can still take the beating.

@SoonToBeSWCC lets keep off you guys bashing eachother and focus on the video instead of counting count branches of our military. id rather say this video is hellasious and also found links to other good ones from here. im familiar with the training pipeline with swcc's because of my buddy. and im somewhat familiar with marine force recons because i did stuff with Wounded Warriors about 2 weeks back. one guy had 4 purple hearts. both fight for us though. ok?

@MrCADguy84 an even better one is "stop shooting at my tank". or even "A-10 Close Call" shows another good one. A British unit is getting air support from a A10 and as they are cheering the A10 comes back for another strafing run and they get danger close, you can actually see the 30mm rounds hitting the ground beyond 20 yard's from them. Its kinda scary but kinda cool at the same time cause everyone was alright in the end.

@MrCADguy84 I stated in my comment that those were the initial timed tests. I never said it was the over all requirements. I've proven to SoonToBe beyond any reasonable doubt that everything he has said is false. I'm even willing to PM links to official gov't websites with the information posted right on them about the requirements, and training of both MARSOC and SWCC, and yet he still argues. And yes this video is hilarious, if you want to see a better one type in "flying terrorist"

Who give's a shit about regular Marine requirements we were never talking about "regular marines" and I told you 22 weeks for SWCC training, want me to PM the the information from the the US Navy web site?
