This is the best video I've yet seen of this haunting and lovely song. Thanks for posting it. The best part of any renfest, by far, has got to be the pub sing! Huzzah!

@cbvalden, Thank you very much for your comment. I agree the pub sing is usually the best part of the day. We actually just got very lucky with this video to capture a special moment. It was a unique heart-felt bonding with everybody at this very final song of the Festival that I think comes through the video. Every time I watch this myself, I continue to see all kinds of little stories played out in the background among all the singers toasting each others' health. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Sad that some of the cast is no longer there, a lot of the voulenteers got mad that they we're getting paid like the main cast so they just chose not to come back...I was there again in 2010 and only saw a few of the people I call my friends, the rest were gone...it was yet another sad time at faire...I miss them all dearly.

Ah what a great vid of this song, that I love so much. I am in Ohio and the GLMF (great lakes medevil faire) is in danger of being shut down, so this year at the final pub sing many were in tears during this song. But hopefully we will overcome the pesty trustees and keep the faire alive. Health to the company, for many years to come.

I used to work there with my ex, this song brings back so many memories...the last time I was there I burst into tears because I had too many memories. I was comforted by all my old friends from fair, I miss them. I miss the whole thing, its the only thing I regret about moving away from that area

i always get goosebumps when i hear this song at renfest... especially on the last day... then i start crying when i realize i have to wait a WHOLE YEAR till next fair... at least celtic mayhem is in ft.lauderdale every other weekend.
