Still, I find it difficult to say which is the teacher and which is the student. While the one in black handled her shawl extremely well, the one in blue might be a much older and more subdued teacher.

In any event, they both dance much better than I can! LOL

People should read the video's info: One dancer is the teacher and the other is the student, thus the uneven skill level. Gotta give the student kudos for having the guts to get up and dance with her teacher in front of an audience!

Its a long distance relationship, but Im gonna practice and try to learn to dance. So, hopefully, i can dance with the rest of the girls at upcoming powwows =]

These Girls did awesome..their footwork is great. if they may be a little off so what! you need to take into account that its only one drummer, and not a full drum.. if the drummer's timing is off it will throw the dancers off.... Stay together my native people!!!

They both are great dancers. From the looks of it, the shawl part of the regailia has alot to do with it. If both shawls were identical I think they would have been more equal dancing wise. The black shawl is alot shorter on the fabric part then the purple. The fringes were long, which made it appear to move more gracefully, then the purple looked as if it was all fabric and less fringe movement. Anyone agree?

The two fancy dancers were dancing good considering the "rough" beat - no tempo. The singer hopefully donated his time because he did not sing a very good songs => switched up the beat and went into men's southern fancy style. Performing for non-native americans needs to be extraordinary!
