I LOVE the Landmark, but the claim that they introduced Greek Food to Charlotte couldn't be further from the truth. Landmark only opened in 1990. Jimmy's and Athens opened in the 1950s and 1960s respectively. There is also Gus Sir Beef (1968); House of Pizza (early 1970s, yes they've always been Greek-owned and serve Greek Food); and Showmars (which was founded in Charlotte in 1982), in addition to a slew of others. Charlotte's Greek community is quite old and vibrant.
GUY I LOVE YOU MAN IM A MEMPHIS NATIVE BUT I VISIT A FRIEND OF MINE IN RHODE ISLAND AND I SEEN ONE OF YOUR SHOWS THERE AT CRAZY BURGER SO ABOUT 6 OF US WENT THERE WOW SOOOOOOOO NASTY!!! LOL
don't you just hate it when after you finish eating your third bowl of cereal, you flip on the tube, and watch this dude eating absolutely delicious mouthwatering food that in the end leaves you with that both hungry and full feeling at the same time?
i live a block from the landmark ( could become bad for my hips and thighs), and i love their food. i may eat there once or twice in a two week period--my favorite is the greek salad and/or the cheeseburger deluxe...mmm.. well it's been about two weeks now.. i think i know what im eating for dinner this evening!!
Landmark is THE BEST!! I used to eat there with my family when I was in elementary school because they were opened 24-hours (not anymore now. They're closed from 4AM-6AM for cleaning) and had the best fried flounder. Now that I've graduated college, I still go there. As a matter of fact, I'm heading over there with some friends right now for a midnight snack. haha
