asta nu are stabilizator de imagine in lentila,nu?

cum te descurci cu obiectele in miscare?...sau daca e lumina slaba,cu tremuratul mainilor...

vreau si eu sa schimb 18-55 asta amarat ,stok....si sa iau ceva mai bun....si un tele de la sigma de 70-200 f2.8.....pentru peisaje

Did you change to the Sigma lense because the lenses that came with your kit you had problems shooting in darker light? Are you using the flash thats built into the camera - or did you purchase another lense? The pictures are fantastic btw! Im just learning how to use this camera myself.

@sardonz Nope, there was no flash involved... The plastic made lens that came with the camera are ok in the dark if you are using a tripod but....it just did not do it for me... I was blown away by the SIGMA 50mm .... Such a great lens.... But it's 500 US dollars..... It's worth every penny but still....500 $

The Olympus E-520 is an outstanding entry level dslr. I own one myself and have had brilliant results so far. Lenses do play a BIG roll in photo quality even if you are limited by the dslr body. The sigma 50mm f1.4 does have sweet results, but has anyone tried the zuiko digital 50mm f2.0?? I plan to get either of those, they cost around the same, but zuiko are by far the best lenses for 4/3 cameras, any advice??

@nandominguez I would stick to Sigma....Look, I'll be buying a D3s Nikon soon...Guess what lenses I'm going to get for it ? SIGMA..... And I'm talking 5000 dollars worth of camera body... Get a SIGMA....you will see what I'm talking about :)))

1001 times ...I'm telling you... Nikon and only Nikon. Nothing from Olympus and nothing from even Canon. I'm saving now for a Nikon D3s.... Forget about Olympus. Get the Nikon:)))

HAHHA...ofcourse I used a different lens man. It's a Sigma 1.4 fstop... Paid $500 new for it, new ... Come on, indoor photography , no flash used...with stock lens?? Capturing kids that are moving like crazy? No stock lens my friend... Forget using whatever they give you with the camera... Every single picture in this " video " was taken using the Sigma 50mm 1.4  :)))))

what iso settings do u see for available light shots? my e-520 creats heavy noice over iso 800. 400 is still good. i'm thinking about buying the sigma. do use the f1.4 for the portaits? i think you have to put it up to 2.0 or 2.8 to get a sharp face. am i right? plz answer, its really important to me :)

Yes you can use 1.4 in portraits.... If you wanna be really artistic. A 2.0 would be better... Still...Don't even consider investing more money into Olympus DSLR.... Check out Nikon... Speaking of high ISO....Superb pictures at 6400... The D3s even higher, 12000 something..... I'll sell my Olympus. Do yourself a favor, sell it. Get a Nikon or Canon. Don't buy the Sigma yet. Get a better camera and than buy lenses. I'm getting crap at even ISO 400. Good luck

crapy noise... nikon d3S have superb low noise even at maximum iso of 12,800... imagine if e520 have that high iso how would the noise be...

Beautiful photos! My favorite portraits are @ 1:31, 2:24 and 2:34 because of the complete momentary capture from the mood and the lighting. I'm with you on the new D700, that's my next one as well.

Thank you very much. ... Now about that D700... The D3s is out....I don't fell like buying the D700 anymore....Maybe wait on the D700x or s or anything.... I mean...That high ISO with no noice really helps...I would love it. I really hate using the flash.

i got this camera and when i take pic sometimes the flash it just keep blinking specially in indoor ,and one more thing when its dark how come the flash load to slow should i get upgrade one,please give me some tips my first slr

Hi. As you can see I do not use flash that often ( in fact I'm trying not to use it at all ) but yes, my camera does the same thing...It's blinking a lot in order to achieve focus... Try getting a better lens, that is a lower f number... f2.8 or f2...Better try the 1.4 f stop...As you can see in my pictures off this video...you can get really great resoults... 3:46 is a night shot hand-held with no flash... That's what a lower f-stop lens can give you :)))

Yup it's doing fine but remember ...this pictures are taken with a great lens, Sigma 50 mm 1.4 so...that makes the difference.
