Absolutely correct. Constant moment to moment awareness of all thoughts and feeling is the key. This vigilance will lead to spontaneous silence upon withdrawal from activity. But for immediate silence and cessation of thoughts brought about through direct comprehension via perception, intense observation as described is needed. Best wishes.
This is a very wonderful and generous video. So many words are very valuable, because they guide us moment-to-moment toward our own silent meditation. I am very grateful tor the kindness of this beautiful teacher. Yes, he is beautiful. The beauty of his heart and his very peaceful equanitmity and aura, make him attractive and enlightened as a good teacher sould be. He touches each of us.
I have learned from your videos, and am grateful.
But, my instinct is that you're missing the mark here.
Observation of one's thoughts should be a continual procees, not just an occasional one.
I think the goal is the unfication of conscious mind, sub-conscious mind, and higher mind.
That unity opens the stargate to silence, and............infinate possibilities!
