  • at 0:04 of the clip, you can clearly see Drogba step on Motta's foot, but from 0:00 to 0:03 you can also clearly see Motta attempting a mugging of Drogba. The retaliation is usually what draws attention (and cards) unfortunately. Drogba didn't need to react, he had already ju-jitsued the dude to the ground, he could have gone on his merry way at that point.

  • Hard to tell what happened, really. I am a neutral football fan, in this match. Aside from Motta's antics it's hard to see Drogba's behavior as deserving a yellow card. What DOES tick me off about these episodes is the amount of pushing and shoving that goes on BEFORE. I played offensive midfield as a kid and the unrecorded abusive checking & kicking used to drive me nuts. Bring on the cameras, at least for the pros, let the attacking players play and have the defenders defend cleanly.

  • @supramanification ok you fag...why don't you talk about the red card that Matterazzi got vs Australia or do you just remember the penalty? watch the full game and not just the highlights. Maybe Grosso didn't admit it because he didn't dive you stupid cunt. I'm glad idiots like you don't watch Serie A...FUCK YOU and have a nice day!

  • @juventus619 lol juventus - the biggest cheats of them all !! not even in serie A , they are relegated to serie B for match fixing. and oh yeah , i wacted the whole game on lygon st mate, wasn't afraid to tell 1000s of azzuri supporters to their face so have no problem telling you mate "italy are a bunch of diving bastards"

  • yea but drogba is so dirty that will make it look like it wasn't on purpose, he be like looking at the other angle and still doing things in other angles

  • I'm a Roma fan so I hate Inter, and I can tell you no way that is a penalty. Anyone who says so doesn't watch football. Drogba was no where near the ball. As for the stepping on Motta, clearly there was some play acting, but Drogba's reputation precedes him, so I don't fault the ref for giving him the red. Drogba already had a yellow too. So the ref had to take some action. Overall it doesn't matter because Inter deservedly won the game.

  • @davidcaspian TE POSSI RISVIJA' FREDDO

  • As a Chelsea fan I know what an ass Drogba can be and his constant diving and whining wind us all up as well, trust me. So it's good to see so many of you be clear and objective about this incident - Motta climbs all over him in what looks more like a rugby tackle then rolls around clutching his shin when Drogba stands on his foot. What a total girl - and it has to be said, typical Italian play - love dishing it out, cry like a baby when they get it back, do anything to con the ref.

  • Drogba, great player but a huge liability for Chelsea. Prove me wrong.

  • He was thrown over his back, and drogba stepped on his foot, which is very painful. I'm not picking sides, but this was a foul

  • Looks like an accident but with Drogbas rep you never know.

  • she will roll from the kitchen to the livingroom

  • ok then whatch a bunch of physical players play on a smalll field cuz that's how chelsea play it's pathetic

  • @redtreepython 103 league goals. FACT!

  • @anil2 etoo is miles better so get outa here

  • @redtreepython are u worth enough to talk about both of them ???? go weep about ur own useless life u faggot

  • go fuck yourself...he clearly stepped on his foot on purpose...I like Drogba but everyone knows that Drogba get frusterated in games like these and always ends up with red cards in his last CL matches...

  • im not a chelsea fan

    but motta clearly deserved it

  • you chelsea fans are so pathetic. Worst losers in football
