When I begin to feel sorry for myself and my situation in life, I often watch the first 15 mins of this movie – I have it easy, no matter what I might believe. My father was on that beach D-day plus thirty and ended up in Germany two years later all in one piece. You have coupled a powerful song with an equally powerful movie, the sum is greater then the parts. The torch has been passed; I pray we are strong enough.
very powerful video, you did an excellent job...scenes should not be perfectly lined up that would be too contrived. its more artistic to have some chaos between the action and the music, especially considering the subject matter, i think its a great job.
This was ok but I felt that you didn't do to good of a job matching up the lyrics with the right scenes. For example 0:17 should have been shown when Cash said "the hairs on your arm will stand up" and when he said "one hundred million angels singing" you should have shown the clip at 3:16 or the one at 3:25. Both would have been acceptable. I do like the song and the movie so I will give the video a thumbs up. But I do think that you should have spent more time on the video.

And again at 3:25 ("kingdom come" is represented by airplanes flying into the sky) So as u can see the lyrics do match up with certain parts of the song, just not how u would have done them. i appreciate the crit. though :)

My 88 year old neighbour (21 on 6 June 1944) landed, fought and survived on Juno Beach. 69 years married 42 years at Canada Cement, 12 children (8 boys and 4 girls) 62 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

Secondly, it's not a war crime to kill a medic in the middle of saving a man. it's in bad taste to do it and it's frowned upon by all sides, but these guys are out there on their own accord, they know the risks of assisting the wounded. Now, if the enemy was blowing up an aid camps and hospitals, the I'd agree.

i know ur point, but there is a fact... most of the germans were not even good soldiers, most were taken from small towns, given a gun and told to shoot anything they see, once the U.S broke thro the beaches, the rest was fairly simple, becos the germans had no idea about tactics, their tactic was to just sit there until told otherwise.

@ForTheWorse Speak the truth my brother! but America did play a big role in the victory, the British would have starved to death if we wouldn't have sent our supplies over there. Of course that cuts both ways because Britain had bases in India which help Americans launch operations of Japan, without those bases American fighters and bombers wouldn't have been able to reach Japan.

Well you clearly don't know your history...Britain hasn't been invaded/ taken over since 1066. And they were Normans not Germans. And considering the relative sizes of the German military ot Britain at the time, we showed great strength to hold off Nazi Germany. But the war wasn't won by America or Brtiain....but by a huge ALLIED effort.
