These two have some serious chemistry in this scene...everyone always talks about russell crowe and kim basinger in this movie, but I thoght that pearce and basinger had some serious sexual chemistry, esp. in this scene. The way they're about fiven inches from each other's face, each equally dislking the other, but also inevitably drawn to one another. They're both lonely, and they both rely completely on themselves, without any "friends" to help them along the way.
