  • ha! zero dislikes

  • Fuck this song and Fuck Queens Of The Stone Age.

...That goddamn bass intro has given 4 speeding tickets, and a warning.

  • Does this song remind anyone else of the hanging sequence at the end of Once Upon A Time In The West? I keep on remembering images from that film when I listen to this song. I dare to go as far as saying that this song would match well if used in that scene (even though Morricone's score is a masterpiece and fits the movie perfectly).

  • dat bass :D

  • Would you like our way home I bleed my own Round the hangin tree Swayin in the breeze In the summer sun As we two are one Swayin Can you see under my thumb There you are Round the hangin tree Swing in the breeze In the summer sun As we two are one Swing
  • @Kilpleztim yes those are the lyrics well done

  • @Kilpleztim "Swaying" in the breeze. Swaying. Not swing. ;)

  • @Kilpleztim

    congratulations, you repeated the lyrics

  • why would you upload a song if its end's cut off? doing things right isnt that hard

  • @gomebigge on the album it cuts straight into the next song.So thats why its cut off

  • @mrgamesjoseph no, its missing a part, and if that werent the case it should continue at the begginin of Go with the flow track you uploaded, right?

  • @gomebigge I did not upload this video but people dont want to listen to go with the flow they want to listen to hangin tree soo it cuts off

  • QUEENS are the KINGS

  • Kala tsakalia m ta skase t song!!TI DOPA EINAI AUTH RE

  • wait, what the hell. People are comparing muse to qotsa?

...oh. a troll. Well played, Youtube, well played

  • fantastic album for driving in the summer.

  • Sweet, ending cut off again. This makes me wish my CD wouldnt have gotten scratched as tits. But I had it for 9 years :[

  • @RushAnthem69 the end isn't cut off. it goes straight into go with the flow on the album. it sounds cut off but its like this on the cd.

  • @wmckinney7 Naw bro I've had this CD since I was 13. I can legally drink now, there are a few more precious seconds missing. But you're right compared to the other songs this guy uploaded this one is not bad.

  • God this song is powerful, beautiful.

  • damn i wish my voice was this awsome

  • @cptOMFG mine is, it isn't anything special really.

  • @calumlittle Your voice must be awesome, we need to sing on a karaoke.

  • @IronRevolution It's not bad. I was at Maxx Karaoke in LA the other day singing 'In my head'. \\m/

  • The bass.

  • @SOMERANDOMKID78 hell fucking yes. so fun to play

  • Comment removed

  • the song did not finish !!!!!!!!!! Brjálaður

  • Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, Stoner Rock forever

  • @JesseNeckred Agree with everything but 'Stoner Rock'. Josh Homme hates the term, and so do I. He feels it pins him in a genre. Either way, Kyuss along with QotSA and the Desert Sessions are some of the most underrated music I known to man.

  • @JesseNeckred what about Fu Manchu?

  • very grotesque song, also very good.

  • Just what I wanted <3

  • is this song in 5/8

  • @theiconoclasm

    That's correct.

  • party by the hangin tree in the summer sun as we two are one

  • Sounds tragic, in the classic sense I guess. Like there is a confrontation around a hanging tree where already there are so many dead.

  • FUCKING LOVE Queens of the Stone age always feelin good since they found me.

  • This album kicks an incomprihencable amount of ass!!!

  • The lead singer reminds me of tom lennon for some reason

  • who the fuck is tom lennon

  • @blindone661 Ever seen Reno 911?

Dangle, the one with the short shorts.

  • thats tom lennon

  • @blindone661 Yea

  • @abSOULuteD sounds more like mark lanegan to me

  • @blindone661 there's something about them two that jus meshes.. but I have an an odd veiw of people so yea ignore me please

  • kinda sounds like a song about slaves and lynches......doesn't it?

  • this is so good baked... omg fuckkk <3

  • the first time i took drugs was to this song, it was fucking epic i dont do drugs now but i dont regret it

  • Why i mark lanegan in no videos???

  • fuck muse, i mean i don't hate them but I think Queens is MUCH better

  • @theaceofspades39 Shit yeah. Muse are boring.

  • @theaceofspades39 they both make me a happy person, muse live is almost better than tool live

  • @dropboys1 both, tool and muse sucks

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre No, they are both great bands, like QOTSA

  • @Niamorg1007 no they fucking sucks, they sucks balls

Qotsa sucks, first two records are amazing, but they sucks since songs for the deaf

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre You may not like them, but you can't deny their talent... Matt Bellamy is a genius, and if you don't believe it listen to Exogenesis or Citizen Erased. Plus Tool have some fucking powerful and complex songs (Jambi, Sober...). However, I agree about the fact that since Songs for the deaf, QOTSA is weak.

May I ask what bands you listen to?

  • @Niamorg1007 I listen to rock/jazz/punk/funk/blues/metal/avant garde/ hip hop/Reggae and etc

But we are talking about rock so: Kyuss, Melvins, Earth, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Brant Bjork, Unida, Yawning Man, Fatso Jetson. you can just check that.

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre I know most of these bands, I the ones I know kick ass, so you definitly listen to good music. However, new and young =/= bad. I am more into Progressive Metal, Thrash Metal, and Jazz, but there are some younger bands that are very interesting I think.

  • @Niamorg1007 that is not truth man, music these days kick ass, is just that great music is always on the shadows (since always), you need to search a little bit more.

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre That's basically what I was trying to say...

  • @theaceofspades39 I know what you mean, Muse does nothing for me, QOTSA have it all.....and I mean all!

  • @theaceofspades39 fuck u muse kicks ass... but so does this band... but still listen to muse... feelin good... song will rock you

  • @theaceofspades39 Queens are much better* Incorrect grammar

  • @theaceofspades39 Are* Not is

  • @TheElite3740 no because I didn't say "the" queens or "the" queens of the stone age i just said queens so it sounds kind of funny at first but it is proper grammar

  • @theaceofspades39 i agree, muse songs are alright until buddy starts singing, and they almost all sound the same, weird bass riffs that they rely on to last a few minutes. No variety.

  • @MacMan282 Muse and Queens of the Stone Age are two completely different bands, that's like comparing black sabbath to pink floyd. The only similarity they have is their psychedelic influences (and probably drug use), but Queens of the Stone Age are a more standard Hard Rock sound and style, while Muse is a little more artistic and experimental with lyrics that reflect intellectualism. Not one better than the other, but both create music.

  • @HeWhoBearsTheMark666 huh? I wasn't comparing them, I was just adding on to buddy's comment. Comparing artists is difficult and usually redundant. I wouldn't quite say they have psychedelic influences, but I can see where you're coming from. I'm just not a huge fan of Muse... ahaha

  • @MacMan282 oh, i was just on to the conversation. to each his own, but yeah, i am a muse fan but i will admit they can get really whiny at times. but the psychedelic influences are there, both bands have stated their music has psychedelic influences. but Queens of the stone age and muse are two really good and talented bands.

  • @HeWhoBearsTheMark666 Fair enough.

  • @theaceofspades39 i agree dude.

  • @theaceofspades39 they r two different bands

  • @RelleRoulette wait really? I thought they were just one big band

  • @theaceofspades39 no smartass i dnt mean as in they were 2 different bands literly i meant that the bands music are similar but muse has a sci fi type spin on it were QOTSA is more on the bluesy side

  • @RelleRoulette i know i just wanted to fuck with you

  • @theaceofspades39 That is such a dumb comparison! WTF? They aren't even the same genre. I can't believe 59 Douchey McTwatholes agreed with you! O_o

  • @pattimack66 it was a dumb comment made a year ago let it go

  • @theaceofspades39 I let it go like an hour ago. So... you let it go? I don't know. Leave me alone.

  • @theaceofspades39 i love em both :)... i like queens rougher sound tho.. its kewwwwl

  • @theaceofspades39 muse are more lyrical. qotsa is when you grow balls

  • @theaceofspades39 well obviously.. QOTSA is probably the best popular hard alt rock band since Nirvana....

  • Beautiful, beautiful noise

  • I think it's swaying in the breeze both times. Sounds like it anyway.

I love the part that starts at 2:16!

  • I know alot of people prefer the Dessert Sessions version, but I've always liked this one better, it's tighter.

  • whats muse got to do with QOTSA? muse is fuckin garbage

  • Agreed

  • @Levente20 Amen!

  • @Levente20 YEAHHHH!!!! QTOSA FUCK THE OTHERS!

  • when im fucked up its like space come from the sky and fucks me in the brain in a gooooood way!

  • man that was beautiful how u expressed ur feelings lool XDDDDDDDDDDD

  • lol thanks bud!!

  • Sort of romantic, I think...

  • love this tune.. love the album tbh... fantastic

  • hmmm... Thats a really dark song .

  • @PigShadowKan dark stoner rock xD \m/ the gloomy guitar

  • @PigShadowKan and the nebular bass

  • For some reason, the singers voice reminds me of Matt Balamy. (however you spell).

  • How?

    Seriously?

Lanegan has the amazing baritone, Bellamy is right up there with what you'd call a castrato! That's like, polar opposites!

  • either way, both QOTSA and MUSE are amazing

  • This song is in 5/4 time signature, sweet

  • This song is awesome!!

  • and i meant mark lanegan

  • yo i herd a rumor he died

    he dident did he?

  • The rumor is false, he is still alive

  • cool thanks cause i couldent find anything on the internet so im a lil happier now haha

  • @0foofighter0 any news on whats hapening with qotsa are they done forever

  • @0foofighter0 like GLaDOS ^-^

  • Comment removed

  • ya, he dead

  • awesome

  • dont even have an album but would reckon first line would make more sense as light our way home... :S

  • Really awesome song. My brother showed it to me, i'm starting to really like Queens of the Stone Age, they have something unusual about them, and i like that in a band.

  • this rocks

  • i think the live acoustic is better

  • either way it is a good song but i coulnd not agree more

i gotta say the extra guitars being played and josh adding some of his vocls really kicks it up even thought its acoustic lol

  • One of the best Tunes Ever...

  • gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood

  • agree!!

  • Mark Lanegan did a nice job on this song.

  • @masterDOOM331 When does he not do an excellent job? He has great solo stuff, and any song with Queens' is amazing. In the Fade, This Lullaby, Hangin' Tree. You name it and it's legit.
