@deelundquist16 - I tried the peanut butter with carrots and didn't like it >_<. It may be because I just don't like carrots. I know people eat it with celery though.
u should go to costco...big 10lb bag organic carrots are $6.99, 12 organic apples $7.99-$9.99, bag of organic lettuce $5.00, big bag lemon is like $7.99....just something to think about, especially if you're juicing and trying to make that healthier transition....:)
take the clementines, pears, bananas and apples and cut some of them in small pieces and just throw them in a bowl. it's a good raw fruit sallad. i do it all the time when i want to eat something good
After watching your New Yea'rs Resolution video, I have decided to start eating a lot healthier and have even made the Glowing Green Smoothie. So thank you :)
You should look at Costco for your fruits & veggies! I go there because they give you quite a lot for your money. Also flee markets are good as well! You can always talk them down on their prices! Great video btw! :) I appreciate that you're letting everyone see this side of you! It makes me want to get healthy with you!!!!<3
@Maribabehh - Sadly there's no Costco where I used to live (at the apartment). But I just went to Costco here at home and got a bunch of the same things! I'm not very good at bargaining lol. But yeah I also bought some vegetables at the Farmer's market :).
@michelleiswatching - Exactly! At least I'm changing my diet and trying healthy alternatives. It's so hard to please everyone because they all have their own opinions on what is "healthy". I'm just trying to be "healthiER" :D
you should try making your own dressing. it's quick, easy, and cheap! i usually just do a mix of olive oil, balsamic, salt, pepper, and oregano. you can also add dijon mustard, some sugar, or anything else you like.
@picab00icu - I think it's cheap if I already had the ingredients on hand. I know that balsamic vinegar and olive oil are kind of pricey on it's own. Buying the pre-made dressing just seemed more convenient when I'm away for college. I've made my own dressing before, and it's fun! I will keep that in mind :).
@RetartedSuperhero - Really bad for my health, how? The FDA regulates the labeling of food, and the term "light" means it contains no more than half the fat per serving of a comparison food. Not sure what you mean by "chemical stuffs" but unless you have some proof I'll continue using it.
@cowgirl123Z - Just fyi I already made my glowing green smoothie (previous video) and the celery only takes over the taste if you put too much or less fruits in there.
be careful with natural peanut butter! naturally grown peanuts might have a carcinogenic fungus growing on them because of lack of fungicides. also, baby carrots are a lot more processed (bleach, chemicals, etc) than regular carrots. just thought you should know!!
@nikkithebrat no problem! glad i could help :) if you have more questions, feel free to find me at dobetternow on tumblr :D good luck on eating healthy!! <3
my mom is a health freak and is always making this really healthy smoothie in the mornings consisting of a grape fruit, spinach and some water.. she mixes it in just a regular blender. I've tried it and it really isn't that bad... And it's a really healthy breakfast or as an on-the-go drink!
carrots are good with peanut butter, its sounds gross but its just like the celery... try it and let me know

You should get the fruit and veggies from a farmer's market. It is half the price and much fresher

@cbsusieq - Good tip. I usually go to the Farmer's market when I'm at home but since I was away for school the grocery store is more convenient.

Oh yeah, and make sure you wash your hands really good after peeling the orange, because they're a lot of toxic chemicals on the peel..
RetartedSuperhero 3 weeks ago
@RetartedSuperhero - Everything seems to have toxic chemicals. I'll take my chances.

try picking up groceries at target. they're a little cheeper.

@nellimay - No target here. Produce here in Hawaii is a bit higher anyway. Where I shop is actually the cheapest price you'll find here.
