If you wanted to use the controller for Virtual Console, why wouldn't you mod the N64 controller to have a gamecube wire?

@bonestorm99 I have one of those to (without the modded stick) but I prefer this as it frees you from being connected the console.

you can also try using the snes controller to gamecube, and try playing the gameboyplayer with it!
