He plays the part nearly perfectly. Just one quibble: I don't think that Rasputin, as a peasant, would have spoken Russian as beautifully as Tom Baker speaks English.

Wow. Tom Baker is amazing in this movie. Rasputin scares the who out of me, but Tom Baker playing him is delightful.

Tom Baker played Rasputin well. Too bad that the murder scene was fictionalized to some degree, judging from Prince Youssupov´s book about his participation in the murder.
