  • I've loved this band since the early 70's. got to see them last summer about a block from my house . they only played for an hour, and to make things worse, they didn't even play heard it in a love song. made me sick and mad. I am still a fan, but from what i have seen and heard about Toy Caldwell, i don't believe he would have done anything like that. he seemed to be a man who appreciated the fact that the fans were the reason for their success. still love this band, but that sucked!!

  • @NEONBLUE14 I wasn't tryin to be shitty on you, or anyone else for that matter. I had just seen the comment from tylerf13dul that said, learn to play MTB songs & BITCHES will come and I just didn't know what to think about that! Your aunt has great taste. Sorry if i offended you.

  • @tyler13ful dude, girls loves guys who are different, I listen to classic rock, I wear weird shit, and I have never had any trouble what so ever getting my crushes to like me. No offense here, but girls do not like religious dudes. Unless they are religious but then they are just boring.

  • @aweomae Interesting! (But SOME girls DO like men who are religious, best. Maybe you just didn't want those girls lately.) Good wishes.

  • @Zebedoodah Lol well as I said, I meant no offense if you are a religious guy/gal. But 90% of the girls I've talked to have said that religious guys are just annoying.

  • @aweomae No offense taken, for sure. I find that so interesting, being an older meat sack, that I'll plague you with questions. If you write a book about it, I'll read it certainly. It's hard to get people to write books who you would actually like to read what they say. Ain't so? lol

  • let`s do a jim jones reanactment

  • well whatever @tylerf13ful said must have been pretty sad :( hang in there buddy!

  • Great Band ... I 'm glad I have a couple albums of theirs...

  • 3 people can't see.

  • @UPfan4life Those 3 people? wouldn't know good music if it hit them in the face!

  • @UPfan4life Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder and Helen Keller. We will forgive them because they were mostly awesome.

  • @milobastage It's Christmas..Don't be a dick

  • @UPfan4life yeah...4 people are blind...great music..!!

  • @tylerf13ful Everything Supershake9595 said is true. You're on the right track. Continue to enrichen yourself. You will eventually meet like souls. Be patient!

  • If you marry a heartless, unfaithful, lying, piece of shit (like I did) you will one day sing this song. :(

  • my old man had the good taste to play these jams when i was little along with the country greats. its original man cant find that these days

  • Are there no older fella's that have read this young brother's post, and felt the need to respond???!!!

Dude... get yourself in the book... and I know, that YOU know what I mean.. you mentioned The Lord... well... there you go... you're obviously an intelligent man.. just remember.. this, too, shall pass... (and that is truth..)

  • 3 people cant see..... the like button.

  • Jesus is Lord !

  • @psinept and so are you!

  • What of the best songs to come out of the 70"s.

  • @tylerf13ful I was very depressed at 14, im 52 now, you will have many good and bad times in your life, be patient enjoy your youth, your friends, girls will come in time.

  • @jwillis5039 Same here, being a teen is hard my man. I'm only 19 now and have only recently been able to enjoy life in a new light. Learn who you are, and the rest will follow

  • @jwillis5039 thanks for posting that, im 21 and in a bad time in my life......but ur wisdom makes me feel better already :)

  • @jwillis5039 I am feelin' the very same...Stay strong bro. we made it this far...just had me heart ripped out and dragged my 8yr old through it...

  • @jwillis5039 how bout being 14, and 17. still depressed and knowing 12 years your existence is gone.

  • Can they play this at Maple Leafs Games

  • oldie but a goodie

  • 3 dislike, people people please , never go full retard.

  • Can't you see I'm up and in f*****g doghouse because of her and her and her...........

  • Pack a bowl, Press play, and Relax..

  • This sucks! You missed 90-percent of the intro and 1/3 of the rest of the song . What, do you work for a radio station that promises 'more music' by cutting the hell out of songs? Just horrible... you are a disgrace. Delete your post and give way to the people that have respect for the song. Do it now, young man.

  • Love this song!

  • First time I heard this song, I was 16 years old driving with my dad up through the shasta forest in northern california, it was all good vibes and we didn't even need to say anything to each other, a song like this makes me glad im living, such a sweet tune and a throwback. hope I can show this to my kids one day

  • Great tune. Many thanks.

Though I must confess I wish they had properly pronounced the word "can't".

As we all know, Marshall Tucker was a bunch of Southern boys, from Spartanburg, South Carolina. And, the correct Southern pronunciation of "can't" is "cain't" (rhymes with ain't).

    A Great band, nonetheless.

    Thanks again, for uploading...

    Tar Heel born, bred, etc.,

    Rob

  • Love these guys ! I'm 55 years old, (shades of the 70's) .....swimming in the Smith River, radio blasting ,cold beer on a hot summer day ( and there may have been some chemicals involved heh heh ).
