  • @emirates111: Messi - Barcelona - 26/02/2012

  • đệk, ba lém vãi =.=

  • Messi liked this...

  • clear goal :)

  • remember u..henry!

  • 1-1 the score in it?

  • that is the desire to win that does not exist today, he used his initiative to create a classy goal.

  • I think it's because of him they've banned quick free quicks, you have to wait for whistle nowadays. True legend though

  • Gudjohnsen should have stood stayed in the way and just took the yellow card for the team (unless he was on one already).

  • i'm wearing that jersey right now! ;)

  • Messi did the same! lol /watch?v=Hz95hWXT02A

  • nice celebration

  • hahaha fucking genius

  • henry you piece of fuckin shit

  • @jol3co lol

  • i laughed my ass off.... Henry is a TRUE LEGEND

  • pahaha! remember this like it was yesterday :D

  • what a machine, they deserve to get payed as much as they do!

  • It's weird cause this was the second time he did that.

  • i was there... it still hurts

  • lol still remember this

  • fake and gay

    Chelsea 4 life

  • @krisb33333 fake? your an idiot!

  • The thing is that if the player doesn't say anything about that the wall is to close he could shoot whenever he wants. No braking the rules here :)

  • Tekkers

  • Ar5en3l

  • 5-3.

  • best freekick ever!

  • santa maria ..... it`s a shocker ...... i remember it when i saw it LIVE

  • INVINCIBLE

  • LOL at 0:18 Cudicini is like " hmm okay so he will try to hit the ball this way and.. ...OH F*** RUN "

  • @Hassansohail It was Petr Cech. And this was a pretty disgraceful goal honestly, Henry was a great player, but I hate it when these trash goals are scored, from Chelsea players included. Referee needs to be way more discrete when he allows a free kick to be taken.

  • @Artoo64 The player can take the free as soon as he wants unless he requests the wall to distance itself.

  • @TheSilentBoom Or the ref point at the whistle. As we can see in this video the ref didn't point it yet so it was a nice free kick from Henry and bad free kick prevent from Chelsea player especially Gudjohnsen.

  • @TheSilentBoom Except that the referee will usually not allow the free kick to be taken if the defense is not ready. It's okay when it's a simple quick restart, but when the wall is getting set up and the goalkeeper is out of position, the referee usually doesn't allow the free kick to be taken, or at least blows the whistle to signal the free kick to be taken. It's like Ortiz-Mayweather, "protect yourself at all times" is a joke if the referee doesn't carry it out properly.

  • @Artoo64 will usually not allow, so not every time. I have seen plenty of free kicks like this.

  • @TheSilentBoom And I hate it when they do that, which is why I like how a lot of the referees now stand over the ball and don't let free kicks to be taken quickly. Henry is a great player, and he's had a ton of great free kicks in his career, but this is not one of them.

  • @Artoo64 When there is no yellow or red card, the freekick can be quick like this. There always should be a player of the other team before the ball til the wall is set up, so they don't score like this. Nowhere this is illegal.

  • @daniel6235 It's not illegal if the referee allows it, but it's not a beautiful goal at all. A beautiful goal is one that totally beats the goalkeeper when he is ready to make the save, not one that takes him by surprise because the referee didn't blow his whistle to signal the taking of the free kick. This really is just a trash goal in my book, the other goal Henry scored in this game was a lot more aesthetically pleasing.

  • @Artoo64 No one said it was beautiful, but smart. It's only important to score, not to score "beautiful goals"

  • @Artoo64 This goal is all about quick thinking. Football is not just played with the feet. Chelsea would have been well aware that when Henry is playing, you have to keep your concentration at 100%, as he can be decisive at any point in the game. Often it would be a wonder goal, but he scores such a wide variety of goals from all positions and angles, delicately placed, chipped, volleys, power shots, outside foot, 30 yard screamers, beating defenders from his own half, back heel etc.

  • ahahah Henry is one of the best really.

  • Love he slides towards the Va Va Voomm ad boards. lol

  • is that even really aloud? I know it counted, but ya, usually they wait for refs whistle

  • @CFLNHLFIFAFAN If a player from the defending team is inside 10 yards you can take it as quickly as you want, but if you hit him, you then lose the right to retake it even though the player is inside that 10 yards.

If the attacking player isn't happy that the defending players are inside 10 yards, you can then ask the ref to sort it out, which is normally when you would need to wait for the ref to whistle.

He just took advantage of others being stupid enough not to learn rules of freekicks

  • @grandmasterj5

ya ya thanks for explaining bud, and I knew that you could ask 10 yards, cause I watch soccer(football) and play and stuff, but I guess if they ask for it then you wait for whistle, I see thanks

  • @CFLNHLFIFAFAN :)

I only know this because I'm a Keeper, and didn't want to be caught out by anything daft like that :D

You'd be shocked at how many people that actually play the game don't know the rules properly

  • @grandmasterj5

ya lol in lower leagues or rec alot don't know all rules, im 16 played for over 10 years, and gone on some pretty decent teams, so I know alot about it, I watch soccer(football) , everything really, so ya

  • lol...that was naughty..xP

  • Once a cheater,always a cheater....Ireland still begging for a World cup place in a game he cheated...again...

  • @GeorgeBLADE1986 its not cheating, if the referee says ur aloud to take the free kick quickly then you may...

  • @EllzyMusic Still counts as a cheat....Doesn't feel right...Well at least to me...I might be romantic that the world can be better....Or i might be too naive,anyway...

  • @GeorgeBLADE1986 boo hoo, Stop crying like a bitch. Look at the amount of cheating that gos on in football heck look at mr Roy Keane for examples.

  • @MrYoungmoolababy yeah whatever dude....

  • @GeorgeBLADE1986 how is henry a cheat. yes he handle the ball vs ireland but france were going to win anyway who care arsenal legend

  • @TheGamerKing14 i dont mind if you dont think it was a cheat but i watched that match and if you did you would never have though france had a hope, ireland was just that much better then them, what you have stated there makes it sound like you though a team was good just because of the names footballing histroy which is never the case in football, good example look a leeds now.(also the ball was out of play if it wasnt handled if it was close enough to stay in play it would have been headered)

  • @GeorgeBLADE1986 Too bad ireland didn't make it, the only chance they ever will have.

  • hahaha, arsenal i love u!!

  • VA VA VOOM !! Henry the best ! Nice celebration haha va va voom !

  • should have just his hand

  • Hahahahahahah. :| Grahme Poll Is A tottenham fan.Twat

  • Too Quick For Chelsea!!!

  • tbh Arsenals Most likely comin out of this season with some silver wear Chelsea arent.

  • @gregbaby11 LOOOOL. one month later, now what u sayin?

  • @gregbaby11 good one! hahaha

  • cheeky

  • I like the chelsea player down on the right standing there, being powned

  • I remember this lol...I'm sure the ref has to let BOTH teams know if a free kick can be taken quickly. Henry's other goals against Chelsea were much better

  • henry only scored three gooals against chelsea in his carreer so how was he a nightmare for them ?...i can't lie though im a united fan and he was probably the best player in premier league history...van nistlerooy comes close though :P

  • @positiveblackman1 henry scored 8 - 10 career goals against chelsea dnt know where u get 3 from!!!

  • GENIUS

  • Henry is a LEGEND, one and only!

  • Va va voom.

  • epic silde

  • that's was an unfair free kick fuck that

  • henry was a nightmare for chelsea just like drogba is a nightmare for arsenal now.

  • @saarsenal yeah tell me about it

  • @saarsenal not anymore thank god : ] 3-1!

  • @saarsenal henry was a different nightmare though, he had class and wasnt brought in by a club with no history

  • @saarsenal lolol not really!

  • @saarsenal hahahahahah

    you must be kidin'!

    Drogba nightmare . HAHAHAHAHA

he can only score when goal is empty

  • @saarsenal henry was the nightmare for anyone he played against

  • @saarsenal He was not just Chelsea's nightmare though :p

  • Henry was a prick for doing that! I guess its in his blood much like the Ireland handball

  • @effizi04 Umad cos he owned Chelsea?

  • @Novalas Lol...owned??? Arsenal haven't beaten us since bridgey's goal in 04. I remember Henry being there a while after that. Don't get me wrong. Thierry was a class player in his day...but asswipe things like that will easily classify him as a prick in anyone's book!!

  • @effizi04 Have you forgotten two years ago when we beat you at the Bridge, Van Persie got two?

  • @effizi04

loool another plastic chelsea whos been a fan since 2005 what about the bridge 2-1 gallas at emirates 1-0 where were you when you were shitttt?

  • @TheDonCon: Where were you when you were shit? Oh, sorry, ARE shit.

  • @blm1990

    FAIL LOL

  • @TheDonCon: What have you won in the last five years?

  • @blm1990

It's easy to say that I could say how many leagues did you win before 2005??

How many leagues do you have all together LOL we've won fuck all except the poxy emirates cup lol..... 4 league titles in more then a hundred years aston villa have more then you hahahaha....come back when you have a clue

  • @TheDonCon: You see, unlike you and many other Arsenal fans, I prefer to live in the present as opposed to the past. And right now we're English champions. :)

  • @blm1990

Ever been to stamford bridge? dont know why im asking you will lie I have probably been there more times then you lol

  • @TheDonCon: If I'm 'lying' what I say, what's the point in responding? For your information I've been a season ticket holder since 2002/3 (East Upper, right next to the noisy Matthew Harding!) but, like you said, that's obviously a lie. :)

  • @blm1990

LOOOL so your a new fan. Did you support fulham or something get out of here you glory hunter the minute roman came in you jumped on the bandwagon loool..

  • @TheDonCon: If supporting them since 1996 means that I'm 'new', then that's fine by me! I am originally from London, but I don't live there at the moment. :)

  • @blm1990 You're retarded mate. Chelsea had no history before Abramovich came and took over, ruined English football, and led to football turning from a respected sport into a business where ridiculously rich people buy out clubs and spend obscene amounts on player's wages. Where would you be without Abramovich and all his money?

The stability of your club will go right down when he decides to sell his share in the scum because they are incapable of properly building up their squad.

  • @1ArsenalFC1886: Quite a few idiotic comments I need to address:

    - We did have a history, a proud one at that; FA Cups, the Cup Winners' Cup, the Super Cup, the Old First Division etc. Just because we didn't win Premier Leagues trophies doesn't mean we had no history. Typically stupid statement from a thick cunt.

    - Boo fucking hoo. Money had become involved in football long before Roman - just look at the Galacticos. No need to get jealous just because you've gone so long without a trophy. :)

  • @1ArsenalFC1886: Also, we plan on breaking even in 2011, meaning that our stability will be maintained and we'll have no trouble at all from a financial perspective. Another buyer would offer to take over the club and we'd continue as we are, dominant in the league and ahead of the scum that is ARSEnal. :)

  • @blm1990 Ha ok you keep on believing that then. You can't refuse the fact that you were just an average club before Abramovich took over and would never have lasted without him. The Galactico policy only looked to bring in one world class player every seaon, but Madrid have been a dominant force in world football since the early formation of the club.

And no, the stability of your club will not last, you'll be lucky to finish 4th this season ahead of Spurs, even Pienaar realises that.

  • @1ArsenalFC1886 bah torres 50mil? bargain!!!

  • @blm1990

Bet your not from London either you glory hunting melt

  • @effizi04 well that cunt drogba is a diving baby so you can shut the fuck up you glory hunter cunt

  • Gudjohnsen is like OH SHIT!!!

  • LMAO

  • i love how he slides near the va va voom sign.

  • hahahah chelsea pwned

  • @warichuser1: Well it finished 2-2 and we ended up winning the league, so in the long-term it all worked out for us. ;)

  • i thought u cant kick the ball until the ref blow the whistle????

  • cheating cunt....

  • @kingkerwick ahaha bitter chelski prick

  • @iMorggg actually im an arsenal fan....but im also irish

  • @kingkerwick so, has you red hair?

  • @TheJonaton retard

  • my fave henry goal

  • gudjohnsen going crazy lol

  • where have all the porto fans disappeared to?????

  • @andr3ll They're turn is over. It's time for the Wigan fans to rub it into that Arsenal blew a 2 goal lead in the last 10 minutes and lost the match!

  • @Arvindo ummmm please stick to topic did the wigan match involve any quick FK'S NO! stop wasting my time with Idiocracy ok

  • lmao look at gudjohnsen hahha :d

  • I bet now the Porto fans will SHUT up :)

  • 5 FUCKING NILL I TOLD YOU porto aint SHIT!

  • porto's goal wasnt kicked straight into the net it was laid off and perfectly legal wenger is just a hypocrite wanker who cant take losing, he needs a good heavy punch in the jaw!!

  • I see, if you can't justify an opinion by rational argument then hurling abuse and advocating violence is the way to do it, is it benovgil20? Well done!!!

  • well im sick to my back teeth of being rational and people being irrational back coz they let their feeling get in the way , so if u can't beat em join em i say

  • POOOOOORRRRRRRTTTTTTTTOOOOO

  • MartinSkrtelsDad: I've never heard of 'the FIFA book of regulations' but the Laws of the Game, which is obviously what referees are required to adhere to, state (pages 36-37) 'The Indirect Free Kick - Signal - The referee indicates an indirect free kick by raising his arm above his head. He maintains his arm in that position until the kick has been taken and the ball has touched another player or gone out of play'. Clear enough for you? The referee in the Porto match didn't do this.

  • Actually he did raise his arm.

  • Lord give me strength...only AFTER the kick had been taken and the ball was already on its way into the net. As the quote above clearly states, and for what should be perfectly obviously reasons, he is required to do so BEFORE the kick has been taken.

  • So... please tell me what states in the Laws of the Game about repeating a FK when the ref don't raise his arm?

  • I'm sorry I genuinely don't understand your question garrido1986, can you explain what you mean by 'repeating'? You can have a look at the Laws yourself, though, in any case, they're on the FIFA website

  • To make, do or perform again.

When the ball doesn't go straight to the net, the indication of a Indirect FK it's irrelevant. That's all. According to the rules of course.

  • I know what the word repeat means, but what is being repeated in your scenario...?? If the ball goes directly into the net from an indirect free kick, then a goal kick is given, nothing is repeated. The referee would still have had to raise his arm before the kick was taken. It's irrelevant to this incident anyway as it didn't go straight in, the ball was played on.

  • garrido1986: are we talking about the same goal?? The Porto winner against Arsenal? That was an indirect free kick, and not 'repeated'. It didn't go straight into the net but if it had there would have been a goal kick - the laws state (p.38) 'if an indirect free kick is kicked directly into the opponents' goal, a goal kick is awarded'.

  • Oh Lord give me strength to me now... same goal. I don't know what to do for make you understand. Did you read between the ******'s in my question? I won't 'repeat' all that again.

  • I did, garrido1986 - are you trying to say that if the ref doesn't raise his arm, the indirect free is taken and the ball goes straight in then the kick is taken again and if it's played on, then no action is taken?! No. If the ref doesn't raise his arm, then (as with this incident) that's incompentence on his part in the first place. Notwithstanding that, if the ball then goes straight in there is no retake it's a goal kick!! If it's passed on, then the goal would stand, as the Porto goal did.

  • Good Lord!

I told you I looked it up. So why do you replay that?

It's that according to you or the "Laws of the Game"?

    Please look at page 123.

  • I mean... Whay do you REPLY that?

  • Oh, OK yes, I see now what you mean, sorry - if the ref realises he's made a mistake by not raising his arm, then yes, it should be replayed - and that's what should have happened with this incident once he'd been alerted to his having made a mistake. But for reasons best known to himself, he didn't...

  • Oh hang on, no, just checked p.123 again, it's retaken if BOTH the following apply: the ref has failed to signal it's indirect AND the ball goes straight in. It's a goal kick if he has signalled and then it goes straight in. Neither of these situations apply with the Porto goal though: it was an indirect free which didn't go straight in; there was no fault as such with how Porto took it, but there was with the ref because he didn't signal beforehand and he has to!! Are we in agreement now? :)

  • You do raise an interesting point though - there is a gap in the Laws in that they don't specifically say what should happen in a situation like this, if the ref does realise he's made a mistake by not signalling an indirect free kick when he should and then a goal results after the ball has been passed on. Retaking it seems the only appropriate option to me. Perhaps I should e-mail FIFA about it!!

  • @robbaker8868 LOL ... Are you Jamaican... I have not heard that expression Lord Give Me Strength from anyone outside of my Jamaican family...I love it !!

  • myaniqued: no, I'm not Jamaican. Glad it amused you!

  • There really was with the Porto goal, FCT5809, as others have already said below. The referee was required (it's different with direct free kicks, like Henry's above) to notify that he'd given an indirect free kick. He didn't. How were the rest of the players supposed even to know what he'd given? I've seen lots of direct free kicks taken quickly, but I've never seen a goal like that before & never will again. You might as well argue for quickly taken penalties, with the goalie not yet in place

  • @robbaker8868 I'd agree on all of those points, especially taking into account that he directly obstructed Sol's line to the ball in the process of placing it. A very odd goal indeed and one that should not have happened.

  • @robbaker8868 as stated in the FIFA book of regulations, the referee was not required to signal that it was an indirect free kick as it was inside the penalty box and therefore impossible to be direct as anyone who knows the first thing about football knows.

  • Sigh. There was absolutely NOTHING wrong with the ref's decision in the Porto game or in the game above. It really is fascinating to see just how many pundits, players and managers there are that don't seemingly know the actual rules of the game.

  • henry asked the ref if he could take the quick free kick i dont see the problem ? where as in the porto game once the ref had hold of the ball the quick free kick should not have been giving

  • hahaha!porto!!!!Arsen wanger ????LOOSSERR!!!!

  • POOOOOOOOOOOOORTOOOOOOO !

  • ahahahahaha how does it feel arsenal ahahahaha C'mon PORTO!!!

  • @ZootmanBosco ahahahaha NO..we thrashed them!!

  • This is the reason why Henry was never the best player of the world..

  • @pax80a you stupid? porto's free kick was so close to the goal this was far.

  • WTF??

Compare this goal to porto's goal? not even close, cuz the ref tell him to get the freekick look at the ref hand, don't be silly guys, and look at the distance, btw compare this goal to porto's is stupid.... the porto goal might be legal but, the ref blocked Sol Campbell and the free kick was inside of the box, he should let them make the wall, and he didn't and he only pulled up his hand when the free kick was already taken.

  • @GCDavid13 and see the comentator saying he's asking i can see he's asking to him, and see eidur gudjo.. knew that and he started screaming to his team mates

  • @GCDavid13

didnt u see porto's player also signalled ref for the fast FK?

  • @GCDavid13 agreed, free kick in the box and out the box is different. more skills in shooting the ball by henry. really though ref didnt block sol. sol was just too busy complaining to the ref

  • @GCDavid13

look back at porto's goal.. ref raised his hand when he dropped the ball..

ha ha ha.. AW dropped his balls. arsenal dropped their balls..

    just bunch of kidss..,.

  • @asdiqa ref raised AFTER the ball was dropped look closely. the ball was in the middle of the pass then ref raises his hand. watch?v=1xkFfOFGUCg

  • if the players knows the rules of football, they know this could happen and they know that is legal... So as for Ruben Mical, Thierry Henry or even Lionel Messi against sporting i say they were really clever! Rulles are rulles. They used it wise for their own profit!

  • both goals are legal because the laws of fouls never said that the referee have give order to play the ball. the distance is a point not important.. If you ask me, its pretty??? i answer "no, it isn´t pretty but is football..." Hand of henry or Messi against Sporting in Past year is the same...

  • @mkfilipe rules are dead. not all rules are fair and needs some correction. distance is important to those that are playing. a quick indirect free kick should never be allowed so close to the goal/net. it might as well be a penalty. henry scored from outside the box with more than half of the opposition (although not ready) formed a wall. that is pretty but to chelsea and their fans it might not be.

  • No point trying to discuss which one has more likelihood of being scored... it's the intention that counts. Both goals are cheeky in using an opportunity not so fair to the other team but in keeping with the rules of the game and consistent with ref indications. I like to think that both goals are quite clever & that a team should never go to sleep in situations like this as Campbell & Fabiansky did. It is nice though to see that what goes around comes around though, I hope Porto knocks them out

  • @FatDaddyCH what are you on. so your saying if your team had a penalty outside the box and the oppositiong has it inside the box we should discuss the fairness of likelihood to score?

  • @FatDaddyCH sorry about my typos. but you should understand.

  • Porto is the best fuck the rest!

  • The fairplay is the samme...

  • You can't compare this to Porto's g
