Steam doesn't load for you at all? So you can't play any of the games on Steam? I just ordered the XPS 15, and I have a steam account for audiosurf, so this worries me. Were you able to fix it?
The boot time comparsion isnt all that fair to be honest, the Dell 15 is a fresh install and has no programs installed wheres the Inspiron looks like a old windows install and looks likes it got a few programs installed on it :)
I a M11x R1 as well and didn't like it. The screen was way to small for gaming unless I was in a car. Also it just wasn't made too well. It wasn't professional and really it was just flashy lights
are you silly you saw how much programs you have on inspiron and how much you have on xps (i have got a xps)
