Mexican Americans and other Latin Americans were usually portrayed as the bad guys. We were either drug dealers, or some other kind of criminal. Yet I don't complain about it. There was an episode where the two jerky guys had to do a report on "Bodacious Babes Through History" - aagghh - and the show's female characters played the historical figures, with Simone [the black girl] as Cleopatra... so this appalling cartoon, amazingly, is one of the few times where Cleopatra is accurately portrayed as a black woman! Amazing.

@Cindylover1969 --Except that Cleopatra wasn't black--she was a Greek--a descendant of the Ptolemaic Dynasty that ruled Egypt after the death of Alexander the Great. (Of course, Cleopatra was a common name amongst Egyptian royalty throughout the years, so there were bound to be a few Cleopatras of native African descent.)
