yeah it sure is. not sure where your from but i highly recommend you watch a documentary called ( London the greatest city) it shows you a brief history from around the year 1600 to present.
i wish i could but i had 2 kids in the middle rows to my left and they pretty much gave a full comentry of the whole landing from the time i started filming. is actually very annoying so i had no choice to use background music. sorry

I'm from ADL too and I've flown on the A380 to LHR, except with QF. (coincidentally I'm an Arsenal fan too, so I've taken offence to your fuel dumping comment ...)
after the 14 hour flight it was a challenge. from changi to LHR we had a head wind but going back we had a tail wind so the flight was only 12 hours including being in a holding pattern for landing into changi
The sound of the planes engines and the cool flap sounds are better than the music

Im going back to Hong Kong tomorrow from vancouver.
Because of a volcanic eruption in the north pacific ocean the flight will be diverted to fly another route.
The total time will be 16 hours
