It's easier to get the drift after watching the video several times. Having a backyard ramp must be awesome for practicing. I thought the shovit is harder than the kick flip. Some skaters have said they learn the shovit before the kick flip. Which is easier?

I got more out of the shov it VID this time viewing it. I didn't always know that there is a difference btwn shov it & pop shov it. They're very tricky to get them to work which is why I suggested zooming more on the front & back foot movement. Slow motion might help with the shov as it is easier to spot the mistakes. Thanks for all the VIDS.

Cool shoes dude. Can I give some advice, or your photographer at least? When you were describing the foot technique of the pop shovit, it would be heaps better to zoom in on your back foot, then illustrate the movement close up and in slow motion.

Why does my board flip over when it rotates? I have the scoop down, when I scoop the tail it makes the board turn 180 degrees but it also flips the board over at the same time and this is what I don't want to happen. What can I do to correct this? Thanks.

@2rude 2 things could be happening, either your scoop with the back foot is scooping the board under makin it flip or your front foot is flickin a bit. Make sure ur toe is on the end of the tail, not the forward edge, ul get better pop and itll kick flat. For the front foot... i guess just no flick? Give it a few hours and ull be fine

Guys when doing thisvi find that the board goes about six inches to the front of me. Try jumping forward a little. It worked for me.
