I think todays children are overly vaccinated when my children told me just how many vaccination's my granchildren have to have i was shocked, my son and daughter inlaw have decided to opt out with there 3rd child but there first 2 have had them and to be honest the 3rd child is the healthyest and seems more on the ball

Most people won't have seen the news from December 10th, where Sir Liam Donaldson admitted that the Swine Flu outbreak is much less lethal than they expected. A 0.026% death rate.

The chances of developing problems from the vaccine itself is much, much more likely.

Firstly, around 1890, Koch verified germ theory and published his postulates to demonstrate the disease-causing ability of micro-organisms. One of the major effects of this of course, was improved hygeine in hospitals, and gradually spreading to society as whole. Because people were aware of the methods by which these micro-organisms spread, those with contagious diseases would be kept away from healthy individuals.

This would account for the decline in all these illnesses.

Over the next few decades, understanding of the functions of viruses improved, and then vaccines were invented, as a means to create an immunity to these viruses.

Vaccines could not have been developed before the scientific community understood pathogenic theory.

There may have been a greatly reduced number of instances of these diseases, but with the aid of vaccines, they have essentially been wiped out in the developed world.
