  • No worries, i have played fallout. Mantits and radroach meat for all!

  • we must build vaults !!!!! O_o

  • Very informative

  • And ANOTHER REASON TO ABOLISH FEMA!

  • At 23:15, doesn't he mean "upwind" instead of "downwind" from the original blast?

  • @datachip Yes he should have said upwind; being downwind means the fallout would be falling in your direction, not something you'd want to have happen

  • why r people talkin bout mw2? be serious u all should just die

  • paranoia

  • my school got a kinda big bomb shelter under the ground in each building in thewhole city that was built before 1992 or someting

  • osama died

  • Progressive Liberal.

  • I'll move into a bunker, there's one 2 miles from my house, I'll buy it and I'll hide, and it would be really really bugler proof as well x)

  • u play morden warefare?yeah yeah? u will know how

  • DUMSFIELD THAT BASTARD TRATIOR!!!

  • In Soviet Russia, you kill Nuke! I'm a pro in getting thumbs up!

  • 17:38 i see that on the other side of the bridge and i would shit myself

  • In the early 90's the UK civil defence organisations the WMO, and Royal Observer Corps were disbanded. We have no way of dealing with this type of threat and are completely unprepared for it. As a former ROC Observer, I find that very worrying given we already have plenty of evidence that there are those here who would do us harm, 7/7 being the perfect example.

  • haha yea 5 thumbs up!

  • If a bomb went off, I want to ride it down off the bomber

  • ENEMY NUKE INCOMING its over :'(

  • At 17:38 the explosion would be horrific beyond imagination. Its too bad that schools doesn't teach to students to duck and cover anymore.

  • At 17:38 the explosion would be horrific beyond imagination. Its too bad that schools doesn't teach to students to duck and cover anymore.

  • that was very informative.

  • so scary that a small fraction of people from each country have so much animosity and hate that a nuculear war is possible all would suffer yet the majority of people from each side would be friends if they met.I wish the small fraction from each country would go waaay off grid and settle their hate on eachother only.media portrays the us as a country of people that hates and is almighty thinking but its not the actual truth ,only a small bit are that way.a world with no seperatenes istheanswer

  • So what kind of system are our ICBM's on? Obviously it is super secret, but is it computerized, or is it still two engineers turning a key? How likely is it that "human error" could start a nuclear war?

I've heard stories about the Russian government accidentally dropping unprimed nuclear bombs when flying over civilian neighborhoods, bombs being hidden down in mineshaft's and forgotten, nuclear material mysteriously disappearing. Is the U.S. in such danger?

You know how the government is.

  • @fluff125 ICBMs are nowadays highly computerized, but it still takes the two keys to launch.

The humorous thing is that some tests have shown that most people working at these silos are unwilling to turn the key when it comes down to it.

Also some ex-KGB agents have said in public that the USSR developed a centralized system that under certain conditions could launch all the Russian ICBMs at once, with only one soldier pressing one button.

  • @Cyberspine !!! Holy shit! Russia better get it's act together! Jesus. I wonder if a "Dr. Strangelove scenario could play out over in the fractured government of Moscow.

    Was Putin KGB?

  • @fluff125 Yes, Putin was in KGB.

The reason this system was put together didn't have so much to do with countering the American threat as countering one at home. Because in the late USSR years the Kremlin was becoming more and more unstable, many important figures saw it as something that could calm down a possibly militant leader in the case of a crisis, because he would know that no matter what happened, there would be retaliation.

It could would have been like in Dr. Strangelove.

  • @fluff125 It could be very likely, but it would require two idiotic human beings. Instead of just one idiotic human being. ICMB's are computerized, but requre two seperate people to launch them. But knowing the government, they probally have a system where one person can launch it

  • potassium iodine is essential as it stops cancer caused through fallout

  • I WILL BEAT YOUR ASS WITH A SHOVEL! IF YOU FUCK WITH MY COUNTRY!

  • would wearing a gasmask help your chances of survival ?

  • u r born in vault 101 u will die in vault 101 and 35 five people who disliked r terrorists

  • u r born in vault 101 u will die in vault 101

  • ...that monkey must have really hated Bert The Turtle.

  • Lol I hope this happens, I like Fallout 3.

  • Fear the future...

  • Morons in charge of our safety, nutjobs stealing nuclear material and religious zealots with their finger on the little red button.

... Investing in a shelter would be a waste of money, I'm gonna go buy that PS3 while I still can...

  • @Unicron4ever yea and buy fallout new vagas

  • @Unicron4ever

Have you played Fallout: New Vegas?

  • lemme ask this,

what the FUCK does soccer have to do with dick and ball clouds?

  • It's easy, TO SURVIVE A NUCLEAR ATTACK, PREVENT ANYONE FROM GETTING A +25 KILLSTREAK

  • @chesterngiamzhenghao haha, i found your comment funny :D

  • @RoflCockSlap thanks man

  • @chesterngiamzhenghao i got 25 kill streak what do i need to do now i see a nuke emblem at the right bottom of my vision but i can't use it damnit its annoying rotating nuke thingy

  • @LastTangoDown why not? you can use it...btw I dont play multiplayer I play Black Ops and its multiplayer only, and MW2 campaign too...

  • @chesterngiamzhenghao what if they are using hardline?

  • @ppwalk05 lol I dont play mw2 I just know about the stuff. I play black ops tho

  • Nice... Oh just one thing...to understand nuclear threats one must be politically savvy and well informed of the NWO agenda. The elites that truly run most of the planet have sworn to reduce the earths population by 80-90% by the next solar maximum in 2012. There are plenty of videos about the NWO on this very site. Try Endgame or The Obama Deception.

  • @joedevol1

Tinfoil isn't radiation proof, take that hat off.

  • very good vid

  • press like if u came here beacuse of any of the fallout games

  • This is a joke. THERE IS NO SURVIVING A NUCLEAR WAR!

  • @aubergine2c if u watched this video to the end it says at 24:13 that:

Nuclear War is not effectively survivable... AND Nuclear Terrorism is survivable.

  • @aubergine2c This says attack, not war.

  • @aubergine2c yes there is

  • huh ?! i cant look on a nuclear explosion :( damn , its the most beutiful thing ever (not saying the best thing ever) ...

  • What if it's that 1.4 percent of people who can get a good bomb shelter in their yard, go there for a few days, and return to repopulate the world after the smoke clears? Could they inherit a new, depopulated world?

  • @tubecraft7 You would be living off of stuff you never would've otherwise. No vegetable, no harvest, no water, no nothing. You would be living off of canned goods, that we're still sealed in their cans prior to a nuclear holocaust. And you would haft to murder humans, and animals in order to have a good nutrition. And even then that is dangerous, as they can be carrying radiation in the blood cells from inhaling, which you then result in you getting infected, it would also mess with your DNA.

  • @WrestleFan1993 So I guess it's no use then in the long run. Best place to be in the event of an attack is either a military style bunker with more than just a couple of weeks of canned goods or right at the site of the blast you'll die in a split second, no worry about anything else.

  • How to survive a nuclear attack: Be Chuck Norris

  • But who is the real monster? TURNS OUT IT'S MAN!

  • I don't trust any country with nuclear weapons.

  • IF the US will take out its own pawns on 911-I DONT trust the us gov...I think we should start a petition to ban ALL nuclear weapons!! If a country cant overcome with brute force alone-they have no buisness taking over...

  • @Jeenyus1983 but let me ask you this. If North korea and Iran refuse to abide by non nuclear pacts, would you be willing to disarm all US nukes?

  • @jeseiscool ABSOLUTELY! NUCLEAR technology is the enemy of all humanity-free or suppressed! The us-or any other country has no buisness with nukes!

  • @Jeenyus1983 Who took your tinfoil hat?

  • @Delta4845 What brings you to the assumption that I once had a tin foil hat?

  • Eliminating the threat of nuclear attack would be a bad thing. The threat of nuclear war is what keeps the world, relatively, peaceful. Since the development of the nuclear bomb, there have been no truly "big wars". If the atomic bomb had not been developed, a third world war and maybe even forth world war would have been waged by now.

  • @CharlieFoxtrot987 Didn't you listen to the talk? Are you thick? O are you repeating a sentence that you've heard before and sounds nice but you have no idea what it means? If you have an enemy "without an address", you can't retaliate.

  • @CharlieFoxtrot987 there is some truth in what you are saying but it still doesnt change the mindset of terrorists. I think thats a probable theory but ur not taking into account religion, some people can willingly die withouht regret. Also i dont think it will never be possible to truly be nuclear weapon free because countries like north korea and Iran are wild cards.

  • i love how i'm supposed to listen to the guy underneath me who couldn't manage the word where

  • @bunkmasterflex Well-its unclassified that there are several hundred D.U.M.B. deep underground military bases that are intended for "government contingency" These could contain Millions and Millions of people!-Theres alot more patriots than there are dignetaries...So in my opinion-kokelasick may not have literary knowledge- but does show common sense-which cannot be obtained from a text book-to me this is more valuable than the easily obtainable spelling books...

  • @Jeenyus1983 you see the problem with your point lies in the fact that i was not criticizing his logic and have no opinion about these deep underground military bases. I just know that When someone cant clearly portray their point in any tangible way it makes it much harder to believe, you cant deny that. thats why you put the acronym as well as what it stands for the possible volume of the previously mentioned bases so you obviously know what i'm talking about

  • @bunkmasterflex Absolutely-It is very challenging to portray common sense without common knowledge...

  • no how about the government propaganda like this and all the underground bases for them we should rebel now and take them over so the rich and powerful illuminati wont have no ware to go when their sick plan gos thru

  • good thing i got a gas mask

  • did the people at ted really need this explained to the?

  • The Iranians are working round the clock to enrich uranium and this guy just says it's no problem.

I think this guy is the problem

  • Terrorists could never get hold of nuclear weapons and the trouble to smuggle it into an area high enough and for it to be worth while it would need to be detonated on a very high building for a more destructive shockwave. The ability to produce a nuclear weapons is impossible with out state fund-age and its very difficult.

  • intro Music scared the shit out of me... had my speakers up.

  • you need to get the hell out of america..................there probably gonna nuke themselves because they cant resist that red button

  • Yes because that makes sense doesn't it.

  • ...Maybe the whole thing was a big hoax. Lots of money to be made if you can get people behind the idea that a nuke strike is likely.

  • Very informative, thanks for posting

  • if nuclear bomb was to used on usa it would have have been done long ago , he is scaring population to decieve them again who knows what there next agenda is rember 9/11 was inside job

  • seriously, do you read this shit off a script or something?

  • this sucker is scaring us population by using words and numbers that ordinary person dont understand , concious person and sane person should be asking him why would some one want to attack usa

  • why wouldnt they? none of us have any idea that even goverments may bomb thier own cities. to be fair 9/11 was pretty ''convinient'' to say the least for the bush administration.

maybe NORAD was sleeping that day??

  • hmmm... Your probably the single most ignorantly stupid person i've come across in some time... I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are under the age of seven or so... I hope i'm not using to many superfulous words for you... I hope you grow up soon... Wait actually I take that back...

  • o sorry forgot about why would some 1 want to atack usa , i forgot about usa killing innocents around the world

  • @SHOOTER0072003

omg, what the hell are you saying? what part of that didn't you understand?

  • He talks the truth.

  • I will beat your ass if you f**k with my country! lmao

  • "I will beat your ass with this shovel if you fuck with my country"XD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GREATEST LINE EVER!!!!!!!!

  • Luved that Civil Defence Poster

  • red army, my dad 1981:

Every soldier had an NBC suit (duh) and a special kit. there were some 20 vaccines in the kit. first you had to inject the main sollution. depending on what color of skin rash you got (Lo0L) the booklet identifies whats contaminating your blood (a few main types of Bio and chemical agents) and you must injest the right colored vaccine. probably was some lethal antibiotics.

but at the end of the training the instructor said just lie down and wait to die in a nuclear war..

  • pakistan's nuclear facility has been attacked 3 times in the past year or so. they claim no nuclear warheads were taken. scary though

  • The fact that they have Nuc's is scary.

  • i wouldnt trust any middle eastern country with nuclear weapons as far as i can throw them

  • @WrestleFan1993 Looks like that mainstream media is successful in its mind control campaign...-thats exactly how "they" want "us" to feel--Then all they need to do is say-Yep them hagi's got weapons of "nuclear" distruction over there and they're gonna nuke us!-why would iran bite the hand that feeds em?

  • @WrestleFan1993 and they can trust the west?!

  • @treeoftears I'm not saying the West is any more or less trustworthy, but it's a much safer bet that we won't get attacked by oil hungry fat cats, compared to holy WAR wagers, that have said on numerous occasions they wish to nuke the United States, and it's allies.

  • @WrestleFan1993 does that include Israel?

  • @WrestleFan1993 agreed!!

  • never touches on the fact that if enough nukes went off that it would cause a civil war

  • what do you mean?

  • war....war never changes

  • @malissard1959 fallout 3

  • @malissard1959 Fallout FTW

  • @malissard1959

Yea got a reservation in a vault tech vualt :)

  • I accidentally clicked 4/5, but I meant 5/5. This Redlener dude is wild, great speech.

  • Ill try to survive to get a pip boy

  • hahaha oh yeaaaa!!!

  • Vault Tech anyone?

  • I got denyed for a vault...

  • that was an epic speech. i think every u.s. city should have a public or home bomb shelter.

  • nuclear war is not survivable for people but.... he never said anything about bacteria. so all the world has to do again is go through its cycle.... I dont care if we all die... i only care about the things the worlds needs to start the cycle up again...

  • Actually, it is VERY survivable. You picked the wrong video to put that comment on.

  • very good way to look at things but hey, you only get one chance to live

  • humanity is just mentally retarded and childish im not saying this as "war is horrible" like those retards war is needed sometimes but peace would just help humanity take another step to evolving and moving into new levels of intellegence not trying to kill each other. The F1 Philosophy

  • thats was only 10 kilo ton bomb in new york! the biggest tested by russia was a 500 kilo ton bomb!

  • Actual the biggest russian bomb - Tzar was 50MT that Equals 50 000 kilotons.

  • oh ok

  • You guys are making me feel a lot safer Thanks....

  • but using 50 1MT bombs instead of one 50MT would be much more effective

  • it was "IVAN" 50 mega tons

  • In official it was Tzar but Big Ivan was a nickname given by creators. It was originaly 10MT of TNT but soviets scaled it down to about 50MT. Measured power of explosion was 57 MT.

  • originally it was a 100mt. u dont go from 10 mt and scale it down to 50 0.o

  • sorry - forgot to add one zero :P - of course i meant 100MT

  • No, the Tsar Bomba was 50Mt = 50,000Kt. That's 3000 times the Hiroshima explosion.

  • haha yea i saw the video, try to run downwind from that shit eh? lol

  • north lorea is warning the u.s. of total destruction

  • its not possible if they only have 12 bombs.....

  • haha the fucking zipperheads dont have the balls to drop a bomb on us! lil Kim Jong would have 10 ICBMs up his ching chong ting tong ass before hed see his dissapear in the distance...you have noooo idea how we react to threats like that...we had patriot missiles on the coast of hawaii and california before they were testing, and my friends dad is in command of 15 ICBMs all of them pointed at kimmys capital :)

  • 15 ICBM?......10 warheads each.....150 warheads on 1 waste of space country,...i dont think so,....

  • @SteelRainAssault

    cool story bro.

  • shut the fuck up...

  • dude youre a fucking faggot...why would you put a video on your profile like that...youre a fucking nerd who needs a life besides his videogames and his moms basement

  • @SteelRainAssault

I put the video on because it was shot with my friends, who found it hilarious. I put it on there for their benefit, as many of those who were there enjoy it. Additionally, I haven't gotten a new videogame in about a year. I volunteer, I do several extracurricular activities at school, and extensively talk with my friends in person.

    Additionally, I am quite straight.

    Have a nice day.

  • have a nice day pounding your asshole with your buddies

  • @SteelRainAssault

If by pounding, you mean playing, and by asshole, you mean soccer, then yes, I will.

    Thank you :D

  • soccer is for girls

  • @SteelRainAssault

Then why, may I ask, do almost all major nations of the world have a proffesional men's soccer team?

  • there are gays in all nations apparently

  • @SteelRainAssault

    That doesn't answer my question.

Why would gays go out of their way to form a proffesional, government-regulated soccer team?

  • because you fuck your pillow at night

  • @SteelRainAssault

    LOLWUT

  • lol im kidding, im just not a big soccer fan

  • @SteelRainAssault

    Wait, a bit of reasonability?

    Not pure, venomous hatred?

    WHAAAAT?

    Could it be that...

You were trolling me and decided it wasn't worth it?

Or maybe I'm just an easily fooled idiot, I dunno.

  • lil of both :)

  • @SteelRainAssault

Well then, mon frere, you've just fooled me.

    Nice job.

    Now then....*ahem*...

WHY CAN'T WE JUST GET ALONG?

  • because as long as there are nuclear weapons on this planet there will be crosshairs on every country

  • Stop feeding the troll dude.

  • i would just go into the sewers to survive a nuclear attack. its safer than ducking and covering.

  • im with you

  • Does anyone else think that the events before Fallout 3 could actually happen? Besides that every home should have a bomb shelter.

  • Vaults? Nuclear war? It may be laughable now in the post-Cold War era, but it's still as real as a threat as ever, and will always be unless we dismantle ALL nuclear weapons and prevent their construction for any military purpose.

  • The events before Fallout 3. F3 is set like 250 years in our alternate future.

  • I thought that is wan the 1950-1960 CE period...

oh will have to play Fallout 2 again some time...

  • 99 red balloons gooo high!

  • HOLY FUCK THAT LOOKS GOOD. I mean the 'splosion at 17:38.

  • yeah nuclear blast - good times!

  • That was so much of good information! i was searching for such a presentation for the last few months and weird I stumble upon it when I am not even expecting it! lol

But I dont think that the wireless radios or mobile phones are going to work after a blast like that!? wont the radio waves be distorted?

  • No, the emp from a nuke lasts a fraction of a second and shorts out all electronic equipment. Research emp shielding to learn how to keep ur radio/phone working. You would only get emergency broadcasts on the radio and the phone prolly won't work for calls cuz i doubt ur cellphone provider has taken the time to shield all they equipment as its expensive to shield something that stays plugged into the wall.

  • nation vs nation ... USSR was not a nation at least not in a definition.

  • Great information. Thanks for posting.

  • if u get rid of em all what u gonna hit the asteroid with??? throw the turtle at it maybe thatll edge it off course with my plan it helps every1 but the camel fuckers it doesnt get any better then that o the other 1% of atomic stuff left unregistered suitcase bombs and other nuclear material in the hands of terrorists they believe what they do is righteous but why would they kill innocent children its not their fault their parents fuked up

  • detonated way above ground zero would still cause a deadly fallout storm

we don't die from burning and concussion anymore, we die purely from radiation sickness and cell damage complications (i.e. cancer)

nuclear power is actually too strong to even be used safely on earth or anywhere near, and that's just referring to fission warheads. fusion would be much much more deadlier. a nuclear war would mean permanent implications for everyone.

  • dude im talkin about getting all secure and unsecure warheads and putting them on an island for storage in case of an asteroid the only place they could possibly be exploded is where the un chooses ur only problem with my plan would be 2 things 1 if a bomb exploded and caused em all to blow up 2 if terrorists attacked which has 2 easy solves 1 make it high security and 2 put the storage silos deep underground either the % of a tarrorists attack would be highly unlikely

  • also i dont see where ur getting the idea that wouldnt solve it from because using them only for asteroid destruction would mean the only place they could blow would be in orbit i know we dont die from the blast as much as fallout what u dont see is what im talking about hellooooooo all warheads and nuclear material 1 island heavily guarded buried silos no materials or warheads anywhere on earth except that island if an asteroid comes it gets blowed up in space if it hits earth nukes dont matter

  • of course u don't see anything..

u can't even see the usage of punctuation marks.

god, i'm not even going to try to understand what you're trying to type
