Hi there, my server works, but how can my friends come in?

What they need to do with the URL?? in order to acess the server

There is this one thing i don't get, i've done everything as i´m supposed to, but when i try to start the server it says i don't have any challenges so the server won't start, how do i add tracks to my dedicated server?

@Sergeydgr8 I am no longer operating my own servers so i have not looked into the freezone server setup requirements nor do i ever intend to. if they are confusing, ask for clarification in the forum.

I forwarded ports properly and they are open.. I made the server and I was able to get inside.. but when my friend wanted to get in it asked him for a password... And I told him the password which I typed in 'dedicated_cfg' for master server account and it wont work.. It says wrong password or 'could not connect' ..some kind of connection problem to the IP .. so I don't know what wrong..is that the password that he need to type or not.. and how can I make it without a pass.. Can you help me ? :/

@DoCiNhO035 If your friend only has a nations account, he won't be able to connect to the server until it is in his favorites list. This is a recent change made by nadeo. Don't give out your master server account password, that is like your own user account password except for the server, no one else should know it.

@mariuirtiek If it is online, its visible in the server menu. The problem now is that nations players cannot see these servers until it is in your favorites menu. This is something that nadeo changed.

@galovsky123 you can, wireless can be kinda unstable though so its not really optimal for running a server that you want to be reliable on.

@djsmile13 Probably have a nat routing issue, there is a big huge post about these issues on tm-forum.com so look for that, its pretty old. Basically its the way your router works is preventing you from connecting to your own server over internet. There are workarounds but the simplest is to just join your own server via lan. The only downside to this is you will never be in official mode while you are connected via lan.

@TimisoaraCoolMixers re watch the part about the matchsettings file. You need to have the matchsettings file setup properly in order for the server to function.

Depending on where your own files are, the complete target would look like this:

C:\TMF\TrackmaniaServer.exe /dedicated_cfg=dedicated_cfg.t­xt /game_settings=MatchSettings/M­yServerList.txt

There must be a blank space between the program's pathname and each of the 2 parameters.
