  • hey josh I need advice..should I sell my fender tele deluxe 72 and get this?

  • @iannyrockwell If the Tele isn't getting the sound you want, then buy the SE 245

  • @iannyrockwell take my advice dont sell any of your guitars just save money and get one. I always regretted selling my guitars I should have kept all of them.

  • im torn here lol i dont know which guitar to get save up for this guitar or buy a realllly nice schecter solo any advice good sir!

  • @emanhacker I've yet to try a Schecter, but I have heard they are really good guitars. If it's possible, try both.

If I were looking for a new singlecut guitar I'd go for one of these, they play great, sound good and they're not too expensive so you can modify by changing the pickups.

  • I bought this guitar and tried to put heavier strings on it, but they don't sit well in the nut. The strings aren't all the way in the slot and are set up higher on the fretboard. Is this normal?

  • @tonezc You might want to get some nut files to make the slots wider so the string fits better. You can do that yourself, or you can take it to a guitar tech to get it done.

  • prs is the sh*t

  • The sound of this guitar and your playing are a match made in heaven.

  • @gnrcr Thanks dude :D RAWK!

  • @testing123reviews out of ten what would you give this guitar

  • @gunsnrosesfreak29 8 or 9, it's an awesome guitar! To make it a 10, you might want a flame maple top.

  • This or the Gibson lespaul studio faded???

  • @daniyalahmed97 I would probably go for this one because it is more affordable, and still a good quality instrument.

  • @testing123reviews and compared to a schecter hellraiser c1-fr??? i hear those guys are beasts

  • Serious guitar right there!!! Love the PRS SE guitars.

  • do you think i can pull off C-standard tuning and play melodic death metal with this? most melodeath bands play Gibson/epiphone les paul so i was just wondering. maybe switch the pickups to dimarzio's to provide extra filth too.

  • @mami3790 Absolutely! Put some heavy strings on and drop in some tasty Dimarzio's, you'll have a killer guitar!

  • Any comments on this guitar compared to the new santana se. they have the same pickups and wood. I am trying to decide if i want to take a chance ordering one blind as I can't demo one local. thx

  • Many thanks for this review!

Which do you personally prefer, se245 or lp studio? For me these guitars too similar, could you compare them, please?

  • @gkatkov They are quite similar, but the PRS has some little design differences which make it comfier to play. It has a contour on the back for your stomach so it sits really close to your body, and the neck heel is contoured back so you can get to the higher frets with the greatest of ease.

If I were looking at buying another LP style guitar, I would go with the SE245.

  • Which would you recommend PRS SE 245 Or PRS SE Custom 24?? I play alot of blues, rock and jazz. all that stuff:)

  • @adooradoor4you I'd recommend the SE245, because it has a thicker body, providing warmer, thicker sound. Perfect for jazz, blues and then flick to the bridge humbucker add some gain and you have your rock tones.

  • what kind of microphone did you use to record your guitar with?

  • @GuitarGuy366 I used the built in studio mics on my Zoom Q3 HD video camera

  • Which do you prefer, the SE245 or the SE Singlecut?

  • @jpsurf93 I prefer the SE245. It has a thicker body, making it feel more like a Les Paul which is something I really like. It also have a really punchy sound while still remaining warm and articulate.

  • I have bought this in black put red knobs on it and emg 85/81s in and it is my custom lil baby

  • @barrymonkers dude prs has a se that is basically like that

  • i just bought this guitar...i love it

  • @Tony221100 Fantastic!

  • what guitar is better the epiphone lepaul pro fx or the prs se245?

  • @Puffer1986 I preferred the SE 245, because of the fixed bridge. I like to use alternate tunings quite a lot, it would be irritating having to setup the Floyd Rose each time I changed tunings on the Pro/FX.

  • so want want of these!

  • i have the same one!

  • can u explain how u intonate this instrument? :D

  • @asianaxeman Certainly, there are 2 screws, one at each of the stop bar posts where you can adjust the intonation.

  • Great guitar for the $.

  • But at least it sounds great! :P

  • @etguitar18 It looks pretty cool, but I still prefer the black/cream tolex.

  • not liking the new look of that Egnater Renegade.
