  • Oh my God.. I just switched the channel and Supernatural is on.. !!!! :D

  • my twin brothers are very naughty they kept fighting and joking and fight again and joking again since they were kids they share everything and covering each other's mistakes since in pre school. now they are 23 and live seperately because of their works but any of them will drive for a long mile just to meet his twin once a week. if we had a family gathering, then the boys would spent whole time together and ingnored the others it's like we never exist and there r only 2 of them in this world..

  • If I had a brother like Dean, I'd legally divorce him if the law would back me up lol. I don't want a sibling like that.

  • Oh Dean xD He's such a dork. Dean reminds me of my bro - we had really good laughs at and with each other since my earliest memories.

Watching Dean and Sam reminds me of how I don't regret things like missed promotions and rude coworkers - I regret that I didn't realise my brother was the best thing in my life until he was gone. Crap now I'm crying again.

I hope they get back to being close siblings soon. It was kind of depressing when they started to split down the middle.

  • just full on LOL

  • aah dean and his silly shaninigens xp

  • I love Sam's expressions here! Priceless.

  • Sams shirt is totally gay, lol.

  • @LuckyDevil40: Right????? He' so cute when he says that.

  • The look Sam gave Dean walking away was greeat ! :)

  • Well, that's Dean's style :)

  • Dean is an ass. end of subject. I mean i get the whole sibling rivalry and goofing off thing, but are constant gay jokes and pranks to this degree REALLY necessary? and he had to be smoking something when he tested that anti-christ juiced up joy buzzer on sam. coulda killed him.

and i'd like to know what kind of guy goes through 40 YEARS OF HELL including 10 years of torturing others and still ends up this goofy idiot of a guy?

  • @JustThink00 relax dude, dean maybe a sarcastic, smartass to sam like most siblings are with each other but he's also brave, caring, loving, loyal and risk his life along with sam constantly to save others and they do it all out of the kindness of their heart, they don't get paid a single dime for it and we all know he'd do anything for sammy, including die for him so they may have their little squabbles and sibling rivalry but at the end of the day they love each other unconditionally

  • @lovelydiva06

yes, but none of that changes the fact that Dean is in fact an ass, and almost killed Sam on a whim here.

  • @JustThink00 yeah he is an ass sometimes but overall he's a good guy and they both have almost killed each other at some point and time and another

  • @JustThink00 seriously? if he wanted sam dead he wouldnt have made a deal with the crossroads demon for sam's life. and do you really have to nitpick on everything he says? just enjoy the fucking show for fuck's sake.

  • @ehbkLOVE oh course he doesn't want Sam dead. don't see what that has to do with anything. I do enjoy the show, and Dean is still an ass.

  • @JustThink00 Hardly. Did you forgot the whole thing where Dean sold his soul for his little brother's resurrection? Or how, against his wishes, he selflessly let Sam jump into the cage with Lucifer? I can think of a million other examples of Dean being smart, heroic and protective and so what if he dicks with his little brother occassionally? It adds humour to the series and is a part of his personality and that's just what we older siblings do. Get over it.

  • @RevengeOfElsie

He loves his brother, but he is still an ass. It's not "occasionally" it's constantly, and to a degree that would drive a sensitive teen to suicide, and the joy buzzer could have fucking killed Sam.

  • @JustThink00 What about 'Route 666'? When Sam instructed Dean to drive onto hallowed ground and pray that the ghost truck wouldn't collide with the Impala? I'd say that that little stunt 'could have fucking killed' Dean. Also, it's not 'constantly'. No way is EVERYTHING Dean says a degrading comment. Also, Sam hasn't ever been a teen; we see flashbacks occasionally but when the show began he was 22. Guy needs to learn to take it on the chin and I think he copes pretty well without your help.

  • @RevengeOfElsie

Dean considered a laugh worth a chance that Sam might die. Sam considered saving lives worth that. There's a difference.

I can't believe you took "constantly" that literally. Are you human? We don't take it that way on this planet.

Also, Sam definitely was a teen once. All humans go through teenage years. Apparently you wouldn't know.

  • @JustThink00 Way to watch an episode and understand it. It wasn't considered a laugh. Like Sam and the ghost truck/Impala stunt, he had a STRONG theory that making Jesse not believe in an urban myth would de-bunk it, which it did. Dean's theory was a sound one, just like Sam's, and Sam was in no danger. Also, don't blame me if you don't know how to apply vocabulary in written text. If you don't MEAN something as it's written, then don't choose that particular word.......

  • @JustThink00 ....It makes you look a fool and maybe that'll teach you to choose your words more carefully. Finally, Sam WAS a teen once, but the show didn't begin when he was a teenager, which is my point, idiot. He wasn't some weedy 'sensitive' teen that could be 'driven to suicide' by a couple of jokes made by his big brother...... I would know about being a teenager. I am one....

  • @JustThink00 ....Sixteen years of age and apparently more intelligent than some clowns who come on here posting about the 'trauma' of brotherly teasing on a video that is CLEARLY one of Dean's finer comedy moments. I have a younger brother (also a teenager) and teasing is just what we do. Some MIGHT do it because they are nasty siblings, but others like myself (and apparently Dean) do it to harden them up and make sure they can defend themselves in the face of people who don't mean it jokingly.

  • @RevengeOfElsie

Sam was a teenager once, and presumably Dean was still making jokes. This should be obvious.

Since it's pretty much impossible to actually mock someone in EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE, you will NEVER hear someone say "he mocks constantly" and mean it that literally. Yet on this planet we do use the phrase all the time. It's a common exaggeration that anyone who speaks english, and probably anyone who speaks to humans, would get.

The buzzer was an unnecessary risk.

  • @JustThink00 Are you not reading a single thing I've written? Well done, we've finally established that Sam went through the teenage transition, just like every other human in the world. Like I said, Dean makes jokes to, not only bring another dimension to the comedy of the show, but to harden his younger brother and make him impervious to verbal taunts that people may use to get to him. Sometimes also, as in the clip above, Dean's 'teasing' of Sam serves a higher purpose.....

  • @JustThink00 ....Also, I'm not going to continue to argue the finer points of your misuse of the word 'constantly'. Yes, it's an expression in technical terms, but it serves no purpose in making your point seem more lucid or intelligent. I'm not going through it again. Finally, the buzzer was an unnecessary risk. Much like the ghost truck then. Except not. Jesse's belief in urban myths was killing people; the ghost truck was killing people. They both took risks and saved lives as a result.....

  • @JustThink00 .....Dean just happened to have a lighter way of blowing off the perceived risk. Better that he makes a joke out of it than Sam's cold response in Route 666 which was something on the lines of 'Huh. Guess I never thought of that' when Dean told him that he could have been killed.

  • Dean SUSPECTED that telling the kid that joy buzzers don't use electricity would make it harmless. He could then have tested it on meat like before, but he decided to risk his brother's life instead, because it was funny.

If I recall route 666 correctly(and perhaps I don't), the truck was chasing Dean and about to kill him and Sam came up with a desperate chance for Dean to escape it. Risky, but risky is preferable to doomed.

  • @JustThink00 Likewise, Sam SUSPECTED that driving the truck onto hallowed ground would work. If Sam had been wrong, Dean would have had a better chance of escaping by continuing to drive than stopping exactly 7/10ths of a mile or whatever it was, when a head-on collision would certainly have killed him.

  • @RevengeOfElsie

Again, Dean could have tested the buzzer on meat. It was 100% unnecessary to risk Sam's life.

On the other hand no one had escaped the truck yet and it was bearing down on Dean. Sam made a judgement call.

You seem to be implying that it would have been better if Sam had laughed about it afterwards?

  • @JustThink00 Well, Sam could have burned that truck. I seem to recall, after they pulled the truck out of the swamp, another one materialised - the 'spirit' truck, so to speak - which was the one that went after Dean. Sam could have burned the 'physical' truck and saved Dean from risking his life, in exactly the same way that Dean risked Sam's life by testing the buzzer on him. You cannot keep saying 'judgement call' or whatever because Sam has done EXACTLY the same thing in the past!......

  • @RevengeOfElsie For the sake of both your arguments, can we just say that both brothers have screwed up at one point or another. Neither of them is perfect and they bicker like any normal siblings. You don't have to prove to the other person anything because they're wrong and I'm sure others notice it too. Both brothers risk their lives for each other as well but Dean tends to try to keep Sam from doing it because he still has that 'protect' Sammy mentality that he has had his whole life.

  • @JustThink00 ......Also, I'm not implying it would have been better, I'M SAYING IT. Sam acted like a total douchebag to Dean in Route 666 after the narrowly-avoided collision with the truck. Better that Dean made a brotherly teasing comment which, not only re-affirmed the whole 'older brother/little brother' pecking order, but improved the comedy of the episode, than Sam just being like 'Honestly, that thought hadn't occurred to me'........

  • @RevengeOfElsie

I don't recall route 666 that well, so i'm dropping that, but what Dean did with the buzzer was effectively like looking at a button that said "Maybe kill Sam" and a button that said "don't kill Sam" and pushing the first one. It's hard to believe sam did anything like that. It's hard to believe Dean did that. I thought he was sane.

pecking order? wth? if I had an older sibling who didn't treat me as an equal by that age I probably couldn't live with him.

  • @JustThink00 Are you forgetting season six where Sam allowed Dean to get turned into a vampire for the sake of getting the alpha one???? Or the episode with the racist truck where he tested a theory that if proved wrong, Dean would have been in trouble? Both brothers' would die for another but just because they love each so much doesn't make them perfect. They're brothers and they will argue. They will make mistakes too so you need to cool it with the Sam's better than Dean thing going on!!

  • @JustThink00 ...Maybe I just prefer Dean's more outright sense of humour than Sam's 'supposedly' funny comments that can come across as bitter or mean and perhaps that's why we're discussing this in the first place. Little brothers (in my experience), thinking they're replicating their older siblings' humour, have a tendency to get quite rude and harsh with their jokes and so, as an older sister, I prefer Dean's humour more because, in my opinion, I don't find it offensive, like you seem to.

  • @RevengeOfElsie

well, sam does have some resentment towards Dean, but there are some good reasons for that. Doesn't always make Sam's behavior right, but it does make it understandable. Towards the end of the show Sam goes through some dramatic changes and seems to loose himself, and at times is outright cruel.

Now, I am an oldest brother myself. May I ask, is it possible that your siblings don't take your humor as well as you think?

  • @JustThink00 Well, obviously you don't recall it that well because, as I've said before, Sam had that same 'Maybe kill Dean' button in front of him and he pushed it, same as Dean did, in Route 666. I don't know why it's so hard for you to believe that Sam does have and has displayed exactly the same 'risk my brother's life to test a theory' mentality, but the fact is he does and I'm not going to keep flogging this dead horse with you because clearly you'll never get it......

  • @JustThink00 .....Also, I don't understand your whole 'resentment' comment. It's no relevant either, since we're discussing how both brothers risk the other's life and not anything to do with 'dramatic changes' or whatever. Like I said, everyone has different senses of humour and I don't always appreciate Sam's because it often seems more like rude comments than funny jokes.......

  • @JustThink00 Also, I found your last comment moronic. It has nothing to do with how senses of humour are interpreted. I'm not nearly as funny as I think I am, but a general trend in households (and I'm speaking with what other oldest siblings have told me in the past here) seems to be that the youngest child is the more entitled child. They can be very selfish and are often 'babied' by older family members and, as a result, can have that more cutting sense of humour to provoke a response. .....

  • @RevengeOfElsie Sammy is sort of babied so I get your point. Sam was shielded from the truth until he turned eight whilst Dean knew since he was four about the supernatural. Even though Sam is as protective of Dean as Dean is of Sam, Dean is the protective big brother and he's always doing anything he could for his baby brother. Hell Sam gives him the puppy dog eyes and he caves.

  • @JustThink00 ....I don't mean to stereotype younger siblings, and I hope no one on here is offended by that viewpoint, but, in my experience and in that of other oldest children I know, the youngest child is naturally the one that comes first and if you don't experience that in your home, then you should consider yourself quite lucky. Also, I wasn't talking about pecking order in the sense of being treated like an adult. It's just nice to see that brotherly teasing on the show once in awhile...

  • @RevengeOfElsie I know, I'm the second oldest and the younger ones get more than the older ones and they tend to come first as well. You make a good point.

  • @JustThink00 ....And if you don't like that or, apparently from what I've seen of you in these comments, can even understand it, then perhaps you're watching the wrong show.

  • @JustThink00 Dean did that because he was being an older brother and annoying the younger one. You're an older sibling right? Siblings do things to annoy, tease, and/or irritate each other and they bicker!

  • @JustThink00 .....He didn't risk Sam's life because he thought it was 'funny'. He played it OFF as funny but their motives were the same. People were dying and, at the time, it was a risk that had to be taken. Like I said before, better to play it off as funny or as a joke than be a cruel dick about it, like Sam was in 'Route 666'.

  • @RevengeOfElsie

Sam isn't spoiled. That's clear very quicky in this show.

Again, I don't recall route 666 well enough. perhaps because of that it is possible that Sam is as crazy as Dean, but that doesn't change the fact that Dean is crazy.

  • @JustThink00 I didn't mean spoiled in materialistic terms, but in terms of attention and this overall need to 'protect' Sam (the youngest) that both Dean and John (the two elders) share is typical of a family situation. I don't bedgrudge that - I think it's great that the writers can capture that notion - but that was what I meant when I said spoiled.

Dean's crazy, sure, but so is Sam and, in my opinion, their general craziness just enhances the show and makes it funnier for it. ;)

  • @RevengeOfElsie Actually John may have had good intentions for Sam but he wasn't really around at all when Sam needed him. Dean has played both protective big brother and father to Sam since Sam was little. In a way though, if Sam does do that puppy dog look with Dean 9 times out of 10, Dean would cave as well. But the point I'm trying to make is John gave Dean the task to look out for Sam and Dean did beyond that whilst John wasn't really there for Sam.

  • @JustThink00 Dean can get through 40 years of hell because he has people that care about him. If he didn't have a younger brother he would die for (again) or a father figure like Bobby, he probably would have went mentally insane. The point is support is everything. Sammy went through the same thing with his 180 years in hell. Because of Dean, he was able to tell the difference between hallucinations.

  • @sekangel88

siblings tease each other. they do not do it with suprise games of russian roulette.

it's not inconceivable that Dean survived hell. it's inconceivable that he did so and is still a goofy idiot. A lot of Dean's way of life is dependant on not thinking much. how do you go through 40 years of hell and not do any thinking? was he like "man this sucks. i hope I can get out of here and score some chicks. i'm bored. maybe i'll torture some people.".

  • @JustThink00 Okay how did Sam go through 180 years of hell without turning into a vegetable huh? There's a thing called coping mechanisms that exist you know? If not for that, then I bet Dean wouldn't have been able to cope. The mind is complex thing that protects the person from the worst memories until they are able to cope. And nobody is perfect, not Dean not even Sam. Dean not bad. I would want an older brother like Dean myself and Sam loves his brother so your just wasting your breath.

  • @JustThink00 Also it's the way Dean copes. By being a 'goofy idiot'. He has low self esteem though and everybody is always telling him that. He and Sam have lost person after person. All they have is each other and that's how they cope, by relying on the other.

  • @sekangel88

If you would suggest that it's a mask, that might make some sense, but otherwise not really.

i'm not wasting breath. i'm responding. ...or perhaps doing both.

  • @JustThink00 Then tell me how Sam is alright after 180 years of hell!!! He still pops jokes and bickers with his brother just fine after the breaking of the wall!!! You don't see him crying and having nightmares, breaking down mentally and ect. What do you expect Dean to do huh? Yes he was in Hell for 40 yrs and it doesn't seem to phase him, but they are Winchesters and they are tough. Hell, John Winchester didn't even break in hell! Tell me, what do you expect Dean to be like, huh?

  • @sekangel88

at least Sam changed a little, but yes that bit was ridiculous too.

  • @JustThink00 Dean had nightmares and got down to the point of ceasing to care. Remember the episode with Famine? He wasn't affected because he stopped caring with the thought that he was just going to lose it anyway. Dean may not show it but he has low self esteem. When Sam would stand up to their father, Dean would wish he was able to do that and when he finally goes on a hunt alone his dad ups and leaves him alone. He has abandonment issues and the whole nine yards.

  • @sekangel88 You just don't get Dean's character at all!!!!!

  • @JustThink00 Until you could tell me without all the crap you been trying to pass off, think before you make a comment, it just makes you look really stupid and by reading some of the past comments, I'm not the only one that thinks you are putting some really stupid things down. It's like you don't get the facts we are telling you. So think about it and actually come up with actual facts before you comment.

  • @sekangel88

I definitely haven't done anything as stupid as say, making a big deal out of this

  • @JustThink00 Everything you're commenting doesn't make a lick of sense. Come on, the things you say about Dean have no facts backing them up whatsoever. I'm not making a big deal out of it because first I'd have to really take the comments you put up seriously. I just get sick and tired of some going down on Dean and some going down on Sam about things they couldn't help. Yes you may be a big brother and never did that to your younger siblings but each is different.

  • @JustThink00 We don't judge how you treat your siblings so stop criticizing Dean's way of teasing his brother. The only thing he should be accused of is being over protective, over bearing, and loving his little brother a little too much. Hell he would die for his younger brother and made that whole hell deal just because he couldn't live without his little brother. Dean wasn't unaffected by hell either what with all the nightmares his attitude is just his mask.

  • Haha I love them :)

    Deans smile

    and how Sammy looks Haha

  • I love when am is drunk and tells Dean he is short and bossy. ha ha

  • that's such an asshole brother thing to do. i hope sam got him back for this

  • I love this Scene xD
