C++ and Lua are just languages. Alone, they are unable to make games. They require some kind of engine that can interface with DirectX/OpenGL, some audio SDK, etc. If you have the resources, that engine can be written by you, the game developer, created by some other in-house developer, or you can license one. Regardless, only a few game developers actually work on the "game engine" used in a game.
Very good! The car model is very good, especially because it has an interior structure. The duck is also very good. I would suggest re-modeling the eyes on the duck, maybe make them more circular. The animations are also very smooth, I like that. Nice job on the game.

I give them props for constructing a game, it takes hell of alot of effort, and through my experience with modelling and graphics, I cannot play another CoD game without noticing the shitty blurry textures and im talkin pc here, Ive got high specs and cod maxed out and the textures really and truly suck balls, its only because they have so much detail is what covers it up. But you simply cannot design a crazy detailed game with a 1 man team in a short time.
Looks awesome so far, the water effects actually looked really good from what i saw. I have no idea what this is all about, so far a giant blue duck and cars lol which is so crazy it might just work. If anyone says any different point out that the most popular game on the market is about a plumber who squishes turtles to save the mushroom people from a dragon. cant see much of your game right now since it on unity , i checked when it was on blender engine seem ok but the texture even it if a cartoonish style are lacking of details tho it a good proof of concept. for a gta like game.

the only thing i have done to show for is my commercials on tv and web for clients. Plus pictures or models i added textures too for other people.
I took a standard definition low quality models and textures and made them look way deeper and crisp.
