I got luv for the SCF! Givin us life and a consciousness... a direction to reflect on... following in the path of our Ancestors as they guid us with their light.... Come our support the farm... 5 years after the eviction and the movement is still rockin the hood bringing the food to the people and a commitment to get the land back. GEt int he mix and stop by!
Are you a crack head? there are no white families in these communities because they left the cities to the suburbs to live in specially isolating, culturally devoid, hyper-automobile dependent suburban communities just for for the "property values", in the hopes of flipping the houses, add some new paint and fix up the interior and selling them for a profit to get even bigger houses in exurbs instead of suburbs.
The 1992 "Uprising"? It was a destructive murderous riot where random white people were dragged out of cars and beaten nearly to death. How anyone could refer to such a horrible riot as an uprising is sickening.
Uprising means an act of resistance or rebellion. How do the riots not fill that definition? There were high tensions in LA in the early 90s between blacks and the LAPD. So the acquittal of those officers was a blow to people's sense of justice and they lashed out in chaos.
WHAT???? The cops beat a drugged up guy half way to death, so the citizens burnt down their neighborhood, stole from every store and beat on random white people and that's an uprising?
Maybe a nonstop protest against the government, or a boycott or something would have been good. Beating on random white people is not an uprising. If whites beat up blacks they get in trouble (as they should), but when blacks beat up whites, they are having an uprising. Talk about double standards.
They are doing similar projects in Detroit
