HERE IS A 17 YEAR ALPHA MALE GUITARIST FROM 1968-TED NUGENT-IN THE AMBOY DUKES-WHO WAS AS STRAIGHT AS THEY COME-HE DID NOT KNOW WHAT THE SONG WAS SINGING ABOUT-THIS IS FROM YOU TUBE 1977 COMPILATION OF MICHIGAN ROCKS-AS WE KNOW TED CONTROLED THE GROUP THEN WENT ON WITH DEREK ST HOLMES TO DO MORE HITS! THOM!
AWESOME SONG great instrumentation and vocals. I played this over and over because it was my older sister's 45... who knows where it went to. So great to hear it again. Thanks Jeff
Always loved this tune... But now that I am older, I play this less frequently and with caution because I always feel like I've been sucked into some kind of vortex after listening to it and I'm totally worn out afterwards, like a music hangover. It's one of those songs that leaves one feel blitzed even when they're sober. There's a few songs like that. It doesn't help that this is pretty much the king of all drug anthems, lol. The lyrics remind me of Timothy Leary and all of his writings.
I would love to be hearing this in straight analog like you are..
