The gun is only overpowered when you have lag compensation. When I'm on a 4 bar I get hitmakers on this fucking gun which is gay. When I'm on a 3 bar even better 2 bar I instantly kill people. Congrats call of duty adding shit to make a fucked up game.
I don't think this is the best gun I prefer the g36c but I think that the title "best gun" depends on your specific in game personalities and your personal skills. I also think that if you use a gun long enough you'll get better with it. and overpowered? I don't think so. It is very powerfull when you used it for a long time, because you get used to it. In that way, every gun is overpowered. so in my opinion it is NOT overpowered.

YES! i think its 100% overpowered! the type 95 on a regular basis always kills in one burst from any range if all three bullets hit. i consider that to be overpowered because the victim doesnt even have time to react before they are killed. a sniper is sort of the same because it kills so fast. but with a sniper it has a disadvantage at short range. the type 95 can do both short and long and kill in 1 burst. a snjper takes alot of skill to use up close. the type doesnt

I got a nasty message through PSN similar to the rants in these comments about the type95 being overpowered. I understand the argument, but I don't understand why it's and issue. I love the type95 because its precise and does not have as much recoil compared to most of the automatic guns. All guns are not created equal. It makes this game realistic so everyone is not running around with a boring standard issue gun.
Type 95 isn't overpowered, it only works if you hit the one burst kill. If you take 2 bursts you'll die from an automatic gun usually. Also the striker is more powerful than it.
I use this gun exactly how the OP describes and I still only get about 14 kills a game. If that makes me a noob, fine. I'm only playing for fun and using that gun allows me to have enough of a chance to make the game fun.

Not that i'm disagreeing with you but as a 360 player...I think its overpowered because if said person using the gun is dug in aka camping, you generally can't kill them. In every COD game the 3-shot weapons are always OP in order to combat the full autos. There and again, with playstation as with 360, your only as good as your host connection.

In my opinion the type95 is overused but if you have fmg akimbo on then the fmg can beat anything at close range and the type95 can beat anything at medium to long range but thats just my opinion
The type 95 is very overpowered. The damage is around 55 so its a 2 bullet kill, you can add rapid fire to make it shoot a lot faster, and its almost dead accurate at any range even without kick. Not to mention that the bullet spread is ridiculously small.
@Tyfighter247 wrong because it kills in 1 burst so if u just tap the trigger once at the guy they will die and even if u miss for some reason they allow rapid fire on burst weapons so u can just immediately shoot again. this gun has no weaknesses it's unbalanced.

i can see your argument with the overpowered and overused however i consider the ump/type 95 and the pp90m1 overpowered. ump is overused and overpowered for the fact everyone has one class with it and it beats lmgs with rapid fire which aint right. The 90m1 is again overused and kills almost instantly against any other weapon. same with the 95 its not so much overused compared to previously mentioned guns however when a gun is killing me in one burst on core that has to be considered OP :(

no lol. The type95 can kill people in half it's burst which is outrageous. That means you can get a double spray in 1 random burst which = no skill at all.
@kap2z There's no such thing as "half it's burst" as it shoots 3 bullets per burst, unless you're somehow shooting half bullets from your gun. I believe MrCal was implying the Type 95 is like the MW2 Famas with Stopping Power, as it's generally assumed most people had Stopping Power on all of their classes. Seeing as how the MW2 Famas was a 40-30 gun without and 56-42 with Stopping Power (which added 40% weapon damage), you could kill with 1 burst at any range with the gun. Stop crying.

The type 95 is OP and the M16A4 sucks. To balance it correctly, both weapons should have the same damage, fire rate, accuracy, and range.

i can see your argument with the overpowered and overused however i consider the ump/type 95 and the pp90m1 overpowered. ump is overused and overpowered for the fact everyone has one class with it and it beats lmgs with rapid fire which aint right. The 90m1 is again overused and kills almost instantly against any other weapon. same with the 95 its not so much overused compared to previously mentioned guns however when a gun is killing me in one burst on core that has to be considered OP :(

stop calling guns overpowered, i rarely used the famas because it didnt appease me when i did, didnt like it. Type 95 half the time requires 2-3 bursts, famas reallt never effected my game for the same reason any gun cant truthfully effect a game
90% of the time a death is either A) not shooting at the guy B) other guy shot first C) one or both had horrible aim due to a number of factors and got lucky (actually in this point burst guns are stronger, but no op) D) headshot. overused means nothing

its a two bullet kill at close range and damn fast, it needs a nerf, the pp90 needs a loot at (not saying its OUT RIGHT OP, but it feels like it may be a little to strong), and the shotguns need a buff (apparently the spaz got one, dont know if its true though)

no lol. The type95 can kill people in half it's burst which is outrageous. That means you can get a double spray in 1 random burst which = no skill at all.

@kap2z There's no such thing as "half it's burst" as it shoots 3 bullets per burst, unless you're somehow shooting half bullets from your gun. I believe MrCal was implying the Type 95 is like the MW2 Famas with Stopping Power, as it's generally assumed most people had Stopping Power on all of their classes. Seeing as how the MW2 Famas was a 40-30 gun without and 56-42 with Stopping Power (which added 40% weapon damage), you could kill with 1 burst at any range with the gun. Stop crying.
