  • There is no such thing as an ethical dog breeder.

Dog breeders and their buyers lack concern for animals that are killed at animal shelters every day due to their overbreeding of them.

Dog breeders need to find a pasttime that benefits society instead of worsening it.

  • There will always be a demand for pure bred animals, that is why is it is even more important to be able discern between someone who is actually trying to improve the breed vs someone breeding puppies simply for cash income. Hopefully these guidelines will help the general public in their quest for pure bred dogs.

  • Most people know to avoid puppy mills and "backyard" breeders. But many kind individuals fall prey to the picket-fence appeal of so-called "responsible" breeders and fail to recognize that no matter how kindly a breeder treats his or her animals, as long as dogs and cats are dying in animal shelters and pounds because of a lack of homes, no breeding can be considered "responsible."
